  1. Thanks, I partucularily enjoyed this gem: The Bank of the Universe The Bank of the Universe is open and with the universal check, you can visualize the unlimited abundance that is yours for the asking. Print the check, fill in your name and the amount you wish to receive in your chosen currency, then sign and date it. Place the check in a prominent position where you will see it every day! Every time you look at your check, believe and feel that you have the money now! http://thesecret.tv/the-secret-check.html I can "visuaize" a lot of things Buster, and U don't wanna go dere! "So if you want to have a powerful life, that's more than abundant too, then the movie called The Secret - is the movie for you!" I must own the Movie, the hat, the T-Shirt and ALL that cool-stuff!!! No, wait,... maybe that was Spaceballs...
  2. Actually, we're learning quite a bit about this. It turns out that both are right (to some extent), and that more answers simply raise more questions, and that all 'of the answers are yet to be found'. There have actually been a rash of new discoveries in the last year on how they behave. The One hypothesis, that makes the most sense, is one that scientists (including myself) are steering away from. You see,... from what we can tell matter seems to disappear sometimes. Oh gawds the question that one is raising! The simple answer is that they are not, in fact, disappearing, but they are in three states: Material - in our dimension, energy, and Material - in another dimension. But we don't understand "Other Dimensions" and some simply don't believe in them (realists), even though fractal and string/superstring math supports this. But then again, we used to believe that nothing moves faster than the speed of light (Einstien). Some Bright young (then) Quantum Physicist pointed out that in order to convert matter into energy it has to move at the speed of light squared. Well Einstien was upset at that, using his formula to point out the obvious. He eschewed quantum physics as nonsense. We are just learning, we'll know more next year. I figured out how to flip a quantum field tis year in a cloud of plasma. that discovery yielded tremendous possibilities in nanotechnology. Naturally, as a research assistant, I won't get credit,... others will. But one day it'll be my turn to publish my findings. Electrons do a lot of funny things besided the duality they exhibit. It's all fascinating to me. For instance, they travel fast enough to convert into energy.
  3. I just hope you're not the one hurting the cows, Ham......
  4. hmmmm,.... well according to the double slit test,............ (and this Innie twist on it) shouldn't everything have shown up right where they believed it would?
  5. About a week before moving from Princeton New Jersey back to Florida all the cherry tomatoes on my store-bought bush ripened, or began to ripen. I started picking them. There were about 150 red ones all ripe at the same time, and many still green. There are just not enough salads. I can see why people that grow food can or jar it. Everyone that lived near my flat got tomatoes! As for the plant itself, well one nice older woman that lives alone was the recipient. The last time I counted, there were still about seventy-five green tomatoes on it. I moved the thing (which had grown to inhabit a five gallon pickle bucket from the local Burger King -free of charge) via a two wheeled dolly. Over coffee, the older woman showed me her Mason Jars. Let me tell you that if all the stores ran out of food, she wouldn't go hungry for a long time. I am encouraged now, that I can grow something without killing it, and am actually quite happy with the results I got. Soon, I'll set an area aside in my yard and plant a garden. I've always wanted to do that. I'll give it a go, and learn what I can about this "food" stuff!
  6. Nah, but we will one day, God willing,.... All I know is that we can try our very best to understand the things God tells us for now. Now if I can shoot a laser at it, Contain it in a magnetic field, or experiment with it to obtain a consistant result --- I'm happy. Knowledge ever increases, but that knowledge is of the world, the heavens and the earth that are already made. There's so much to understand and learn there, and doing so can make people's lives a little easier, or kill them. All the grand knowledge we profess to have is nothing compared to the Mind of God and spirit, which he is. That He would share anything of this with us has always amazed me. I've heard the idea that Spirit is an advanced state of energy, moving far beyond the speed of light, too fast to see with our eyes, that has to "slow-down" to come into concretion. I also heard that the moon was made out of swiss cheese, and that upon finding out that it was not, we stopped going there. Laundry is real though, and I have a lot of it to do. I can understand laundry. I do so love life!
  7. Okay this info is Waaaaaaaaaaaaayyy (pardon the pun) out of date!!! Electrons are both particles and waves at alternating times, the relationship between mass and energy is much better known, and there are always the same number of particles {electrons} filling any atoms various shells {if they convert to wave-form, another material electron appears in it's place}. As intricate as it all may seem, the basics will boil down to this, spirit is spirit, matter & energy is matter & energy. Energy, no matter how energetic, is not spirit.
  8. Hahaha,..... THE Word of God liveth and abideth forever, but the cheeseburger line only lasted for about 20 minutes! Most of the stuff you're posting I've heard before, from other sources. I've heard it from both sides, actually from many sides, many points of view. If you follow thier careful explanations - they all seem to make sense, but no one really knows for sure. We will when we see God and are raised up, but today, everyone's just making thier best guess. That's why we have so many people believing different things. If you want my attention, tell me how this is of pracctical use to me today. You're so jazzed up about all this Law stuff. You do some of the law, so you've said, although the lack of a Temple prevents you from doing all of it. You can't stone people, do any real major animal sacrifices... etc, so you teach. "Those who can't, teach." But what do you do with this big headful of knowledge? Do you earn a living off of the head knowledge? I guess you do, in which case you market your view. You sell Books, you advertise PayPal accounts to us for your lawyer,... So head knowledge is your life, I guess, but how to you get anything out of knowing something you can't use practically (except to debate other people and show how wrong they are...). I mean, where is the actual practical application in this. What is it you think I can do this afternoon, differently, ...? Personally, I'm all about practical application. If there's no real practical use to something, I skirt it, as profitless, or perhaps, interesting, true and largely not required for day to day application. Apparently, I can be saved without it, do a lot of it out of common sense, and regularily see several who dedicate their lives to following it strictly, going without - because of some law. How can I use (practically) this law tonight? What do you do with it that makes so much difference,... besides Cutting & pasting stuff from old work into this forum? How do you make it "alive" for you? Give me some recent examples where your knowledge has been indispensible. I'd say you' ve spent a lot of time writing this all out, but actually you wrote most of this stuff long ago and are just filling up several threads with long posts, and you always come back to this issue. It's beginnig to sound like a whine of "But, you're doing it all wrong!" and there are many beliefs here at GSC, so if one person has all the answers, it insinuates that those others (oh those tragic others) are bereft of answers, which only you (or someone just like you) can supply. There are a lot of parallels to the Way International here,... a lot. I find that disturbing. This is a different time though.... Jeremiah 31 [31] Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: [32] Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: [33] But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. [34] And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. [35] Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: [36] If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. ...works for me
  9. Ask one guy a question about a bible verse and he'll answer you one way, complete with scholarly work, ask another and , of course, same story. They can all tell you why the other guy is wrong, and why they're right, and they all belive they're right. You are NO different, no matter who you are. This porrige is too Hot, This porrige is roo Cold, This porrige is just Right. Everyone knows how they like their own porrige and you can use the scriptures to find a way to support almost any belief, or system of beliefs. The use of foreign words conveys intellect, and intellect is always right. It's smarter than you are...! We should all be impressed, after all, we were when Doctor W or LCM used them. It's all Vanity. Cut and Paste your heart away, after all, the bigger your post is, the more cerebral you look. I can see how most of your posting goes now. It's not just about how right you are, but how wrong others are. I've heard all that before. It'a amazing how all the people that think they're "something", all do the same thing. I have to go get in line to get a cheeseburger now. and that's more important than finishing this.
  10. "I'll leave it to you guys to make those comparisons and make — and make — and make judgments on it, because — because what I'm spending my time thinking about is how do we solve the problem? And I'm confident that people are going to look back and say that this administration was on top of what was an unprecedented crisis," ~ President Obama ~ Obama's confident, isn't that all that really matters? Actually, no. It's not all that matters. Although that may be all that matters to him... what people say about him, later on. There's more than one hole leaking oil from the explosion of this rig though. I think there are 3, though media attention is focused on the one they are trying to topkill, the one on the underwater BP camera. I can't stop the leaks. So, like you Roy, I'll just have to wait and see if they do.
  11. The followers list: 1. Arrive early, -- Put on your "game-face" and be sure to kiss a little A$$. 2. Take copious notes and look engaged during the tape and fellowship -- It's important to be seen as "getting it" 3. Smile and nod vigorously when important sounding points are made in the STS. -- You don't want to be sent to the cornfield, do you? 4. Give generously when the ABS is called for -- You're grateful for the wonderful new things you've learned. Smile, God loves a cheerful giver! 5. After the fellowship (whether branch or twig) have some kool-aid, coffee and socialize a bit -- Say thing like that was a good teaching, a very good teaching. We sure are blessed to have such wonderful teachers. 6. Compliment the Branch/twig Coordinator for running the STS fellowship -- you don't want to be told "You're a bad man! You're a very bad man!" Appendix: Twilight Zone Episode - It's a Good Life - Season 3, Episode 8 Notes on Questioning Authority: ============================ Mr. Fremont: It's snowing outside! Anthony, are you making it snow? Anthony: Yes, I'm making it snow. Mr. Fremont: Why that'll ruin half the crops! You know that, don't you, half the crops! That's what that... Anthony: <scowls,.....> Mr Freemont: But it's good that you're making it snow, Anthony, it's real good. Notes Concerning Attendance: ============================ Anthony: No kids came to play with me today, not a single one, and I wanted someone to play with! Mr. Fremont: Well, Anthony, you remember what happened the last time some kids came over to play. The little Fredricks boy and his sister. Anthony: I had a real good time. Mr. Fremont: Oh, sure you did, you had a real good time, and it's good that you have a good time, it's real good. It's just that... Anthony: It's just that what? Mr. Fremont: Well, Anthony, you uh... you wished them away into the cornfield, and their mommy and daddy were real upset. Guarding your thoughts: ============================ "Pretty soon," Aunt Amy said, from the stove, "there won't be any more new things. We'll have found everything there is to find. Goodness, that'll be too bad " "Amy!" "Well--" her pale eyes were shallow and fixed, a sign of her recurrent vagueness. "It will be kind of a shame no new things "Don't talk like that," Mom said, trembling. "Amy, be quiet!" "It's good," said Dad, in the loud, familiar, wanting-to-be-overheard tone of voice. "Such talk is good. It's okay, honey don't you see? It's good for Amy to talk any way she wants. It's good for her to feel bad. Everything's good. Everything has to be good . . Anthony's mother was pale. And so was Aunt Amy--the peril of the moment had suddenly penetrated the clouds surrounding her mind. Sometimes it was difficult to handle words so that they might not prove disastrous. You just never knew. There were so many things it was wise not to say, or even think--but remonstration for saying or thinking them might be just as bad, if Anthony heard and decided to do anything about it. You could just never tell what Anthony was liable to do. Everything had to be good. Had to be fine just as it was, even if it wasn't. Always. Because any changes might be worse. So terribly much worse. Who runs Peaksville? (New Knoxville) Rod serling/Narrator: No comment here, no comment at all. We only wanted to introduce you to one of our very special citizens, little Anthony Fremont, age 6, who lives in a village called Peaksville in a place that used to be Ohio. And if by some strange chance you should run across him, you had best think only good thoughts. Anything less than that is handled at your own risk, because if you do meet Anthony you can be sure of one thing: you have entered the Twilight Zone. Now in our case, the monster is not a six-year old and the cornfield doesn't have any corn....
  12. Okay here's a little example of double speak. Getting a letter from the Corps member you agreed to sponsor and have for over a year. You know, the one that hasn't written you in four months, the one you didn't send the last check to (because in return for $150.00 a month all you expected of them was a monthly letter [that's a lot to pay for a letter]). I read the letter, in it I was reminded of my responsibilities and my promise, of how I would send financial support and in return, receive news from International. "I'm sorry" would have gotten me to send it all in up to date. Instead (I was in the Marines at the time), I stopped mailing her once a month as she had done to me. I have heard from other people that went in the Corps that they considered writing those letters a burden (in some way, shape or form), But I sure got a letter quick the first time I didn't send a check. and this other person seemed to not mention the for four months - there was mail, but only in one direction. Anyways, I decided our arrangement had been terminated by the other party, and never sent anything further, after that.
  13. I was never in the Way Corpsbut I was in the Marine Corps. We paid attention because dying is not desirable Two months after I left Paris Island I saw my first human being turn into pink foam in Bosnia I think the comparisons between these two programs are going to be few. Oh and I just watched a rocket lift off from the cape as I typed this. Found an article on it: The Air Force and United Launch Alliance launched a Delta IV rocket and Global Positioning Systems satellite tonight on the mission's fourth launch attempt http://flametrench.flatoday.net/
  14. Oh but it has changed, there are fewer people in it. Posting on GSC works too
  15. You could ask, when they say you should go Corps, "So,... how much are you going to sponsor me for?" and if they back down, so be it. If they don't back down, tell them, "That's not enough." Now someone I know, currently in the Way, has used this, and found it to be quite effective. This person related to me that once you've done all the classes and basically met all the pre-reqs, The pressure is always there, from someone, to go Corps.
  16. Well I haven't posted in this thread much. I'm a Cubs Fan. Yeah,... I know, tha explains it, don't it? On the other hand, as other teams break records, we're getting awful close to the point where I can say we only win one out of everyt three games we play. Still the red an Blue Hat goes on my head when I go out. The one with the C on it. Go Cubs GO!!!
  17. The Way said the same thing about the PFAL Class, and the need to have the Way of Power and Abundance because those outside their fold were using that older class to debate them. I tend to have stopped reading your cut and paste remarks, they are long and rather impersonal, as it seems you're speaking "AT" us rather than "TO" us. To do this so much makes me think that you believe we are not worth your personal time and consideration. You can argue this point, saying that you are spending great effort in selecting just-the-right sections to "cut & paste" to us, but it still comes off as terribly impersonal to me, as though we're not really worth the time it might take you to type it today. It's just my opinion.
  18. I can never read a whole chapter before i go to bed,....
  19. Welcome to the WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've worked out ther kinks in everything we've plagarized!
  20. So Skyrider,... I can see you are desperate for Roadtrip Rosie's Righteous Revalation Review to come to your town - so you can bask in the signs, miracles & Wonders following in her wake. A whirlwind tour no doubt! But the 5R's, are, NOT ,... Coming to a CITY NEAR YOU, I'd Imagine..... But,... you make a good point!
  21. Hahahahahahahahaha!!! I love it! you have a wonderful way with words JavaJane!
  22. lol,... YES! Chockfull, that is such a good point! Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; And to use modern terminology myself,... It takes two to Tango!
  23. An example of why the Torah makes so much sense, can be found in our humor. Good Humor is often based on common sense with a twist that allows us to laugh at ourselves for the stupid things we all do and can relate to. Here's one little Gem: "What's a couple?" I asked my mother. She said, "Two or three." which probably explains why she's divorced now.
  24. Oh sign me Up!!!! Brilliant sales Pitch. OldSkool, spot on!!! But first I have to ask,....... Do they have cake? Maybe if they have Rum,... I'll Go....
  25. It is interesting though, reading through all this, just how much of it is common sense. Most people that have lives that are not all Messed (F'd) up are pretty much following the law, whether they realize it or not. And if you love God and you love your neighbor, you're going to find yourself fulfilling the majority of the law. If you don't love God and love your neighbor, your neighbors are probably going to not love you, right back and cause you problems, and those problems are probably comparatively small, when compared to the damage you'r doing to yourself by bucking against God's Laws. And I should mention that a good wife that loves her husband, won't be out finding ways to make him hate her...
