  1. Actually, no. I never asked about the Giants. That was someone else. My understanding about those angels is that they were locked up for their disobediance. But it never says exactly what they did. except as Jude says they didn't stay where they were supposed to. Some people say, as you apparently are, that that proves that angels cohabited with men. I say that's one hell of a lot of filling in of the unknown blanks by people. For instance, If you want to go off on wild speculations, Lets say these spirits (of Jude) cause the flood of Noah's time and the fallen (giants) are no more than the prodigy of believers marrying unbelievers and raising their children to not believe . Or let's say that the War with Satan and his angels against the angels that stood with God, happened before Adam. We know Lucifer had already fallen. Well Lucifer wasn't Imprisoned, as he shows up in the Garden to tempt Adam & Eve. But the angels that left their first principality may have already been imprisoned, but left their prison to cause the flood. It's all speculation though, and I could list 50 scenarios. But it would all amount to guessing, because God never really goes into it any further The sons of God saw the daughters of men in Genesis 6, but go back and read Genesis 4 and 5 again. They are about people. Those believers who stand for God are often called sons of God, Chapter 5 - Seth's line, intermarrying with the daughters of men. They saw some good looking women over there in Chapter 4 - Cain's (unbelieving) lineage, and took wives. Well the unbelieving women raised the kids to be more wicked each generation, and things degenerated, and the guys either didn't stop that or helped it along. Before you know it, god was down to only Noah... Too short a time for forced evolution by the Adversary anyways,... Although I'm sure he supported divisions within people to cause them to lose unity and occupy themselves with their differences, and even promote their differences. Just be careful when you wander off into complete speculation - that you don't end up believing your own story, the one you "made up"
  2. He was a lot more like Naaman ...Only he never saw the light at the end, instead he went blind in one eye and couldn't see out the other,... At least Naaman walked away whole.
  3. Haha! Sometimes they Ignore you while you're there! ANYWAYS,.... There's no future there for some people I know. Nope, nope, nope!
  4. Well most of the corps weren't being paid, and those that were were getting a pittance, This is the same fivehead (Oh c'mon it was more than four by that time - lol) that demanded allegiance I pledge allegiance to the Craig,...... Now if you're not buttering their bread, and demand their servitude, and you see some guy over there buttering their bread,...... Well that could screw up the entire arrangement! Dont'cha Know?
  5. The Way International is a financial Life support system used by those few at the top who are either too lazy or too ignorant to do anything more than be FED by others. Those who dedicate themselves to it, and figure that out -- if they have any sense,... leave! Those who can't, teach, and hope to score big in the Lucky Love Lotto, and sit in a pile of ABS one day.
  6. The smaller the Way Corps is,.... the more obvious it becomes about who cleans the toilets etc. The Corps will eventually die out if they don't change that. I mean, when there's only a few of them, and their all scrubbing commodes ............. lol No one's gonna want to go Corps!
  7. Well, early on, Weirwille had to establish some credentials for himself. Pike's Peak, though not a credited University, made him a Doctor. Dr. Weirwille just sounds better, even if he doesn't get any dormitory stories to share out of it. It was never for him (the title) it was for the benefit of others. Being able to have that "Doctor" (and he used it well) made all the difference. By the time they figured it out. He had their money.
  8. Maybe. But eventually I try to read everyones posts. I have this thing where I value everyone's input. If someone's presenting their own viewpoint on the bible I like to read and consider it. I'm not sure about some of them, like the Cult of Zero, and Roy's posts are always fun. I even read all of James Trimm's posts. All three of them make longer posts as well. All three have different approaches to believing what they do, or saying the things they say. I'm gathering that your point is that you're sort of trying to coalesce your thoughts on what you have read, and how you understand it, but I'm not really sure what your point is. Not really. It just seems to be a sort of personal commentary on a passage of scripture. You'd probably be the best person to ask though, about what this all means to you, and why you're sharing it. So I'll ask. Why are you typing up the long segments? What's the importance of it to you? ever curious
  9. Very good. yeah, God says we don't have that "being right" part down. Wrong people need saving, that's us in a nutshell !! But He did ask us to do all we can about that being loving part, with our whole heart soul mind and strength. He looks at our hearts, our thoughts, our intents. He knows us all too well. He knows we won't always get it right. That's why love is so important. Each of us is truly capable of having our "moments" when we are loving, and it's probably why He doesn't just give up on us, but decided we were worth His effort. We're most like God when we love, no matter how right or wrong. and we're only occasionally like God when we're "right".
  10. I like mine with the potato chips on top, not cornflakes. Junk food makes better gas.
  11. Back in 1998 I was sent to live with my dad.... lol !!! Being a real curious teen I went through his attic and found all his Way stuff. I watched the PFAL Class on Beta tape. I also got into all his way junk - books tapes, read everything, listened to some 2,000 SNS cassettes, music tapes. Unfortunately, while I was in the Marines in 2004, a lot of this stuff was damaged by Hurricanes Charlie and Fran. Dad wasn't at home, my closest sib was in Orlando dealing with the storms himself and couldn't get out to dad's house to stop the damage to the roof - he had his own hands full. But one of the things I remember readinf was "Love Letters" a wonderful book of Doctor Victor Paul Weirwille, in which he spent an entire book quoting himself. Apparently the book sold pretty good to the Wayfers, there was even a sort of related tape I listened to with the same title. This would be right up James' alley, something like this. James on James. Just like a Book of Vic on Vic. Really there could be money in this! You get to control the content. Maybe an E-Book? The parallel is --- well, funny.
  12. Back when My Brother Josh was a member at WayDale (around the turn of the century) he used to send me websites about the Way. I think he sent me John Judes site while I was stationed in Afghanistan. I felt like I had hit the jackpot when I started reading it. It made a lot of things come together in my brain about what the Way had really been about, and he provided documentation. And yeah, it seems like there's a lot of influence from prior "movements" in VPW's teaching, But he was "open' to A LOT OF ideas. And getting kicked out of the church he had taught at had really stung him. So off he went to assemble his "doctrine" - the hermit that threw everything out and miraculously came up with something just like a lot of what he tosses in the process. Truly Amazing !! Boy did he ever show THAT Church!!!
  13. Haha I found some guy out there from Tennessee selling Doctor Weirwille's teachings. I wonder if da Vey knows about him? http://www.live365.com/stations/eternallyblessed Funny as hell..... making Money off da DED Vicster !!! Oh I think Pillai was a Hindu convert to Christianity from India The link was to one of VPW's teachings a Sunday Night Service centered on Pillai's work on Orientalisms...
  14. Interesting that the money part is the part you chose to reply to. Oddly enough, even after you were aware of the problems, you were still soliciting donations for Books (which you now claim) were becomming undeliverable, of course... you still took the money. Anyways,... I'm not all that interested in the book. It was more of how the failure to deliver damaged your credibility, but you still kept the money. The Way had a Lawsuit like that. The Peeler Suit. There are links to the Evidentiary hearing for that here on GSC. In it a man asked for his donation to be refunded "Did James Trimm Defraud People and Steal Thousands of Dollars?" I had been running into individual complaints, so far but Googling that phrase does provide more stuff. I don't care if you ripped off your followers. That's entirely UP TO YOU. When a person claiming to speak for God defrauds another, it doesn't matter why. The trick is to not promise something before you are sure you can deliver it. Once you have the books - then you can sell them... Something about not counting your chickens before they hatch comes to mind. But the people you pi$$ed off are your problem, and as you say you dealt with it,... them. Still,... there's that money! gotta have it !!! Poor ungrateful slobs that didn't want another product years later,.... serves'em right! CHA- CHING!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah Baby!!!!!
  15. There's such a massive volume of stuff to share. My current favorite is about James' admitted adultery. I'm also looking into his pleas for "donations" His various yahoo groups, where as the owner, he deleted the posts of others so they could not publically confront him on issues he didn't want to have discussed. I'm having those posts sent to me soon. esp the ones from Yahoo Groups he owned and killed (and I mean he killed the entire group once too many people were onto him). A lot of people ordered his HRV and never got it. He asked them for a donation in advance. They gave and no HRV was delivered. It was a donation. Of course now, that the TWI suit is cleared, you think he'd rush those copies right out to them all. I aim to get in contact with many who "Gave". I'm curious, but I'd rather see him get honest, and talk to us, rather than at us more. That, you're not worth the time it takes to write is a helluva attitude, of course if it's something Doctor/Rabbi James Scott Trimm wants, he doesn't cut and paste his questions - he actually asks them himself. No doubt , if he owned GSC, my post here would be deleted. Instead, he just largely ignores what I write,... but I'll bet he'd take my money! LOL !!!
  16. Basically, isn't the love of money the root of all evil? Rosalie just has no real ambition compared to VPW, although she's not as blatently stupid as LCM. Any scheme that allows a person to "prosper" will be viewed as wonderful as long as it works to their good. if it works to your good and you don't feed their Gravy Train,... you must be living in the heart of Ill-gotten gain. If you need help, believe (like they do to get your money). They won't admit to coveting what others have, but I doubt they'd turn down a sizable donation, after all, if it was "donated" you have no right to ask for anything from them. They don't see their greed as a problem as they don't see themselves as living off of you, or others like you. This is common with religious leaders, especially at the heirarchy of a cult. They just spew their version of God out, and wait for the affirmation and finances of others. If you aren't one of their devotees, you're just not seeing things the way they really are, yanno? If you complain (and especially if it's true) ~ you're a problem. You'll initially be ignored, spoken against and perhaps expelled. It boils down to their love of money,... "Do you know how much pencils cost?" Later they'll be organizing a special Love offering to help them pay a mortgage or to retain what they might lose. That's when it's time for you to give generously. Another teaching on the tithe, or more... "Don't you love the Word of God we provide for you. Buy this book, take this class, regularily share your income --- We might not have this Word of God nailed down, You know - Present Truth, and all.... But you should show God how much you appreciate our research buy giving generously,,... even if after 20 years (more or less for some people) you still aren't seeing the BIG harvest from God for believing,... No, for that you need to take more classes.... Register NOW. If you really kiss a$$ we might give you a salary. Just remember Malachi and know,... the Lord's House needs meat! so Give Give Give! Feed me! House me! Don't make me uncomfortable! It's the Word! I joined GSC to try to understand people like this,... that hurt my father. And to learn to not be like them.
  17. You should stay. I have no real qualm with someone promoting himself. It's the bearing false-witness thing I object to. Sell your books to whoever will buy them. I'm not against someone making the honest buck, it's just the dishonest one you need to leave behind. You ARE, in fact a casualty of TWI, I don't doubt it for an instant. No one here probably objects to you having yor own views on God, but you'll have to learn to be more respectful of other's beliefs and maintain your own personal integrity by being honest and forthright here. If that's not too much to ask - you'll be a valuable member of this forum. Despite past challenges, you just need to step out and walk in the truth. Maybe you're not a linguist, but there are probably a great many areas where your insight and knowledge will be meritorious. You have done a lot of studying over the years, and know quite a bit about the scriptures, I don't deny that. But you really seem to lack respect for others on many occasions. In the past, you've claimed credentials, posted as other people, and other stuff. Try just being you,... without all that baggage. GreaseSpot is an excellent place to 'dump baggage' and move on, get help from others. The Way was a place for people to p[resent themselves as something they never were. We've left that place,....
  18. Well He11, you never answered MOST OF my questions, when I asked them before (repeatedly). Can you see a reason I should "JUMP" when you are the one asking? I find it amusing,.... I do. But what's more amusing is the lengths you've gone to to erase what people have discovered. And if anyone gets the truth out about you,... you get all upset till you make yourself look lika a fool and then you leave. I'll tell you what,... you answer all my questions and I'll explain the little Web-Trail I found. I won't do it here though,... I'll build a Website and publish all the dirty little interconnected links of the chain I'm rattling> answering your question more than fully! Fair?
  19. Oh the subject is the tangled web woven by one James Scott Trimm over the years. Varieties of websites, screen names, usernames e-mail addresses, all often used by you to support the great scholarship of james Scott Trimm. No wonder there's a trail of people that dislike you on the Web. You've deceived them in the past, it's rather a habit of yours. I don't mind that you have different views. I don't agree with your "doctrine" even though you always seem to have the NEED to support it with links, or whatever. A lot of people have different beliefs, no problem, But that need to be seen as right (by you) has driven you to do some really crazy stuff over the years. And to say some foolish things. You've devoted over a decade to trying to convince the internet that you're right, and it seems that about anything is fair game. My view is that it's silly, and I wish you'd just stop it. Outside of your need to support your views, I think you are just a pretty likable guy. But you have this need to be seen on any forum as having everything researched out perfectly. In EVERY forum you've been involved in, it's always the same thing - arguements with the forum members over you being right. It's hard to take you seriously when you do that. I'm still learning a lot about your web footprint now, in some rather unexpected places. But it's ALL YOU baby! You've spun a web (with others at first) and it's giving my very active mind something to pursue. I'm not out to hurt you here, I just love things that amuse me! ...and this is becomming quite a story. I wonder if the Rabbi will ride again. I have someone checking him out for me. The easy to find lies have ceased to amuse me, but i just keep finding more. You're an interesting fellow James.
  20. In that case,.... Why did I get born differently? Was a recall issued to all humans with Asperger's Syndrome? How about those with other genetic anomolies? (not all of which are detrimental) Wasn't there a Giant with the six toes thing going for him? Could he run faster and see further? Oh,... I believe people are born different all the time. Oh I do so love WordWolf's answer! I might make a little wooden sign for my desk out of that!
  21. Hey then highest ranking officer I didn't jump for was a Colonel,.... They didn't let me near the Generals lol
  22. Okay,... I got this from Rutgers by asking the University webmaster, He sent me all the files (even the ones with blocked content. But he also informed me that many of the old files are archived, like this: Another example Still I wanted that webpage that the Rabbi made for himself, an HTML page - it's funny as hell to read what the rabbi says about himself. It's no longer on the web, but i got a copy. It's a Hoot!
  23. He's been at this for a long time Abigail. In fact the Book of Mormons is one of his favorite Jewish subjects Back in 1997 he wrote this gem,... oh, and as a Rabbi, quoting himself - touching! ========================================================= KAL V'KHOMER IN THE BOOK OF MORMON Kal v'khomer is one of the Seven Rulles of Hillel. James Trimmwrites concerning Kal v'khomer: Kal v'khomer is one of the seven rules for understanding the scriptures written by Hillel. Hillel did not invent the rules, in fact they are so old we see them used in the Tenach. The kol v'komer thoughtform is used to make an argument from lesser weight based on one of greater weight. It may be expressed as: If X is true of Y then how much more X must be true of Z (Where Z is of greater weight than Y) A kol v'khomer argument is often, but not always, signalled by a phrase like "how much more..." (KAL V'KHOMER IN THE NEW TESTAMENT by James Scott Trimm) Trimm cites several examples of kal v'khomer in the Tanakh. For example: Behold the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner. (Prov. 11:31) And: If you have run with footmen and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? (Jer. 12:5a) Other Tanakh examples to look at: Dt. 31:27; 1Sam. 23:3; Jer. 12:5b; Ezkl. 15:5; Esther 9:12 Trimm also cites several examples of kal v'khomer in the New Testament: If a man recieves circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the Law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a man completely well on the sabbath? (Jn. 7:23) And: What man is there among you who has one sheep, and if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not lay hold of it and lift it out? Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. (Mt. 12:11-12)Other NT examples are: Mt. 6:26, 30 = Lk. 12:24, 28 Mt. 7:11 = Lk. 11:13 Mt. 10:25 & Jn. 15:18-20 Mt. 12:12 & Jn. 7:23 Rom. 5:8-9, 10, 15, 17; 11:12, 24 1Cor. 9:11-12; 12:22 2Cor. 3:7-9, 11 Philip. 2:12 Phil. 1:16 Heb. 2:2-3; 9:13-14; 10:28-29; 12:9, 25 Now the kal v'khomer thoughtform is also found on several occasionsin the Book of Mormon. The following are some examples: And now, if the Lord has such great power, and has wrought so many miacles among the children of men, how is it that he cannot instruct me, that I should build a ship? (1Ne. 17:51) And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have need to be immersed by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be immersed, yes, even by water! (2Ne. 31:5)Other Book of Mormon examples are: 1Ne. 3:31; 4:1; 7:8-12 Mosiah 4:22 Alma 32:18-19 3Ne. 13:26; 14:11This use of the Semitic thought-form kal v'khomer clearly points to theJewish background of the Book of Mormon.Rabbi YosefTHE USE OF QUOTATIONS BY JAMES SCOTT TRIMM SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS TOINDICATE THAT TRIMM ADVOCATES THE BOOK OF MORMON.
  24. James, You are also a Rabbi? "Rabbi Yosef - Based largely on research by other authors." (No Doubt) Also in one article (as The Rabbi), you quote James Scott Trimm (amusing) ..........(Article continues... and is signed at the end..) (Seriously funny stuff, that -James) Are you still Yosef benYehudah (rabbiyosef@hotmail.com) In 1999, you were posting both as James Trimm and the Rabbi at chofjclist ยท Church of Jesus Christ List. Again The Rabbi and Trimm, as two different, distinct people. I read several of the posts. The Good Rabbi was a strong supporter of James Trimm's views there in that forum. (Deleted posts on Yahoo Groups are archived, even though they cannot be viewed at the group - Yahoo saves everything, BTW) Having a Rabbi at your disposal to support you is such a wonderful thing, it lends weight and authority to the words of Dr. James Trimm's views. I'm amused,... and there's a lot more that I found... Again,... why did you do this? Why the duplicity? Do you need me to put out the sources (proof) to jog your memory? You know, a lot of people here at GSC aren't worried about your doctrine,... just your character. Why not just admit what you've done and get it off your chest? That's my point.
