It's interesting you should say that Waysider I have an Astronomer friend that quoted me a bible verse about how God stretched out the heavens. Well Science has finally caught up with that little nugget of truth, the expanding Universe. But 100 years ago the verse would have been thought to be more "figurative" poetic language, than accurate.

There are a couple of things that no book is going to teach you that make all the difference. All those other books contain a lot of principles that can be helpful, but Enthusiasm and Ambition cannot be taught, and without them, I have seen people let their goals fritter away. Some of them lose patience and chase a new dream every so often (their ship is always coming in - next time's gonna be the ticket - etc.) while some stay rock-solid where they are claiming how "faithful" they are being in the storm of life - but they never get off their A$$ and chase their dream. It's something you have to try on your own, something you have to strike your own balance on, but it's worth figuring out. And one other thing: To make money, you have to really like people, or you have to like taking ADVANTAGE of them (I've seen both work pretty equally). I'm not sure why God allows that, but He obviously does. But picking one or the other is essential to being successful financially.

I was just curious rascal, if the Way published it. The book undoubtedly told a story others would later relate to. They would relate, take the class, and see if God might change their lives, and then LCM would later "Purge them all" Just curious about if the Way was largely responsible for inviting them all in to begin with? And I couldn't find it at Amazon......lol

So far, his general method of posting has been to start a post and cut and paste his old work into the post to support his claim. He would watch the comments and cut and paste answers to people. I'm not sure he knows how to discuss things like a regular person. Maybe if you feed him, praise his work, he'll write you. Lately he's taken to posting links without writing anything else at times. He can be funny but so far he seems to - just want to be right. And be seen as such by everyone. he doesn't like it that we don't all have one unifying belief,... That bothers him. so does mentioning times when he's been "wrong" so stay away from that if you want to be his "friend"

You could start your own Religion. Write books, sell them,...... There's not enough information in the Bible about this to do much beyond speculate. If you want to speculate, I respect your right to speculation. But you need outside sources (like your friend) to provide the information that God failed to provide you with. Good Luck!

Silly,... before that he was in charge. Working for God, he was Lucifer. He was perfect in all his ways. He was in the Garden of God before Adam, back when he was perfect. he was the Bright and morning star. He isn't anymore. The earth that then was, was overflowed with water and perished. But before it was... Lucifer was a chief among the angels. There may be some merit to your friend's ideas, but not on this earth.

Setting Goals is a vital part of succeeding. That's my opinion. But I say this because I know many successful people and I have always known them to set goals. But they also spend time working towards those goals, regardless of how wisely or stupidly they arrived there, none of them got there without doing something to get there. As far as your Neurons go. They're yours to fire up as you wish, but no,... I've never seen any method work other than individual motivation to use those neurons,... But I've seen a lot of scams. That's where people other than you get rich off the stupidity, and/or gullibility of others --- Unless you're the one doing the scamming... if it was such a good deal - we'd all be doing it - the secret to success is no real secret - hard work and desire! Nothing really replaces individual thoughts and actions in pursuit of a goal. If it's something God likes and you ask him for help, stuff happens if you pay attention, that really just shouldn't. After you learn to keep them peepers open you'll be thanking God more often, and it will be for what he's done for you. After repeating this procedure a few times, you'll get used to the pattern, and get better at it, and you'll start to understand Providence. Like I said, That's my opinion. But I've succeeded, definitely not worried about bills anymore. What do I know...

WELL - that's not a new process, I like to refer to it as birth. Here's the thing,... If you think this all happened right out of the gate after Adam or again after the flood of Noah's time,... Then with six thousand years of Humans being born and the Debil manipulating, we should be seeing all sorts of oddities that we aren't seeing. More likely those verses are talking about people increasing in their wickedness.

I think the American Christian Press once printed a book called: The Hope of Glory: In Search of the Light I know that it had been sold through the Way Bookstorein the late 70's or early eighties. The book is about the story of the author who claimed he was delivered from Homosexuality. In it he recounted the lifestyle he was in and how PFAL and Way believers helped him come to terms with God This book was destroyed in a Hurricane and tossed (along with many others) But I remember reading it in 98. Anyone else remember this BooK? ...and who the publisher/author was?

Oh yeah,.... Funny that, - When someone does something nice for you, always remember to thank them. But if someone thanks you for something you haven't done yet, don't they look the fool to you? Well a "Wish List" is just unbiblical..... and we don't want it to sound as if we don't believe God, and with all those Ministry things you had to do...... well, you just never had the time to do much about the things on your "thank-you list". My experience teaches me that in life, the things that I don't spend any time on, God keeps in store for me for later on,.... But the things I openly pursue,.... God delightfully makes available to me somehow or another. What's the old Saying? Wish in one hand and ____ in the other?

I think you said it best when you used the words "innie" and "outie" For instance, I'm a Cubs Fan,.. and I'm a Democrat. Those are a couple of things I identify with. But if the Cubs are doing something stupid in thier Baseball season, or if their coach makes stupid decisions,.... I don't have to agree! Same with the Democrats. In these two areas (and in many others) I have the privilige to think for myself. The Way International did not allow for freedom of thought, and actively works to eliminate people's freedom of choice. The problem with this, of course, is that the leaders there,... are not infallible. And you're not to criticize their Owner, Batting Coaches, General Manager, etc. It's their Way or the Highway. They've eliminated your free choice, free speech - and even regulated your freedom of thought. How many times did you do something - not because you wanted to, but because you knew what they expected - or said something you didn't want to because the parrot in you overrode whatever thoughts you might have had? No, no, no. No more! See, you're now allowed to think again! It's actually your first step. You and I talked somewhere else, and I think you're a wonderful person! I'm very glad you're here.

Well those Palestinians just seem to do whatever they want, and Hamas can't have that, after all, the idiots put them in charge. So being their elected representatives, they know what's best for the Palestinians in Gaza. And reading fables isn't it! I want to thank the Board of Directors as well. Since OldSkool just went ove 1,000 posts, I'd have to say he's been more motivated here, and he seems much happier. I think the Board should not be a respecter of persons and do the same favor for all it's employees, No doubt they'll also be much happier! Congratulations on yer crossing the 1,000 mark OldSkool !!
