Galen, I won't post anymore on this but had to respond since you posted after my post. I have noticed through mike's threads that you did not respond so I take it that you didn't read a lot of his posts. When people have been nice and asked questions he has put people down and was very rude in his words. If he found out we were olg (I think that means old leader grads?) Then he maybe would give the time a day. If you weren't an olg you weren't even worth talking to. So his messages aren't even to a lot of the gs people anyway. Just a few. I would suggest that you go back and read his posts from the beginning and maybe you can have a better understanding of whats going on here. Also, what I responded to on this thread was that I took it that mike wanted some feedback. I gave him the feedback that I felt that was true. I don't care about group thinking. I take it that what you were calling immature was what I had posted. Usually, I find that the people that tend to call people immature are actually the ones that have that problem. Not meaning that you are of course, but I have to say that that has been my experience. Mike, I think its great what paw suggested. If you can post in the doctrinal area then you can get the people that want to go back and forth with scripture with you. Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!

I had a full blooded dalmation whose name was Sir Royal George Spottington. My cats names are fat cat (who no longer is fat but was when we named him), dufous (because he is just a weird cat who will walk and all of a sudden try to grab something that is not there), and a one that I just never can remember the name because its a japanese name my daughter named so I just call it the little cat. My dogs names are missy, jake, and monster pup or fang, depending on who calls him what. He answers to anything actually. That is our wolf dog. He has fangs bigger than my head, I swear!!! He will knock people down and lick them to death. He loves people and when they are done being licked to death he will start howling. Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!

hey, its not your fault they decided to moronic about the whole thing. I had something similar happen to me. I decided to leave and called the tc and let them know. I did not call anyone else because I didn't want to cause a big problem. At fellowship the tc announced that I wouldn't be at fellowship anymore and for them not to contact me because I was possessed. Well, that is what started the trouble. The people knew I had been in for years and they knew my heart. I was not possessed. They showed up at my house to talk about it. While there were there the tc came and walked right into the house. He demanded them to leave right now. Of course no one did. They lost most of the fellowship that day. Did I do anything wrong? No I did what I thought would be the best way to not hurt anyone. They lost because they decided to make a big deal out of it. Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!

My daughter was born when I was still in twi. We left a year later. I still had the way brain though. I told my daughter everything including the no santa clause. She refused to believe it. No matter what I told her she would answer back that she believed in the spirit of christmas. Now I'm thankful that she was so head strong about it. Now she can have those memories that I had when I was growing up. Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!

hey suz, thanks. I'm waiting til the last day to go christmas shopping since my kids are way too nosy this year...hehe. Yes, I remember being the same way so really can't blame them but I have to be smarter than them. I remember one year I found christmas presents and knew what I was getting only the one thing I saw I never got. Couldn't say anything because then they would know. Then several months later my birthday came around and I still didn't receive it. I would check every once in a while and the present was still there. So what can a child do that is eagerly waiting for months and months of the one present it wants? I finally asked if I could clean out a closet for my mom. She was very happy. I took the present out and asked her what that was. She got really red in the face and said oh my I forgot about that one. LOL Served me right, didn't it? lol I don't think I looked for presents anymore after that one. Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!

Hey wonder, I think its great that you had a good time at church. And that you are going to give it a try again. I know its hard when people first leave twi. Missing the people are the hardest. But you have to come to a place to realize a lot of it wasn't real. In real life you don't have instant friends. On the other hand friends usually stick with you even if you leave a church or a belief. So the hardest part is friendship and keeping busy. Church is a great one to find friends and stay busy and also join some groups of interests like if you have any hobbies. If you like animals you can join an animal group or shelter and go help with them. There are a lot of places you can volunteer and meet friends that really will surprise you on how good your friendship will become. Friendship will not happen overnight though. It takes time to nurture. I love to say this...hehe Good luck on your new journey and enjoy!!!!! Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!
