  1. Thanks, Belle. Life can be funny that way. Did any of those who you helped indoctrinate ever get out?
  2. Did the PFAL class teach that one should not marry or date a non-believer/agnostic/atheist?
  3. Ham, I like that. Who wrote it?
  4. "songs that we remember from the first line. title not in first line" If that's the rule (and assuming I was correct just then): Wake up up mama, turn your lamp down low
  5. I didn't watch either video all the way through (my BS sensor wouldn't allow it)...does he address homosexuality at all? I detected an air of homophobia in his rhetoric. I also don't agree with his predestinationalism. P.S. I personally enjoy a "secular" interpretation of Solomon's Songs. It's much more fun and interesting.
  6. That building in Rome City is one creepy-azz-looking place. BTW, I'm continually impressed at the size of the empire TWI built up over the years. I've seen pictures of headquaters and it looks almost like a legitimate college. Sorry, that was mean. I was never in TWI so I shouldn't talk. Although...the organizaion did rob me of the love of my life. Twice. That's just my perception of it, though. I could be wrong. Maybe TWI was the reason I was ever lucky enough to enjoy her in the first place. Who knows? I certainly wouldn't be reading the bible if it wasn't for her. That's for sure. But I digress... At any rate, the fact that there are still members in the UK, New Zealand and Australia is noteworthy, I think.

Hey Paw, nice work on this web site. Thanks for all your work. :)
  8. I probably shouldn't post this here cuz technically it's off-topic. But it's kinda quiet and it seems that many of you have not seen or even heard of this movie. The only major character not in this scene is Al Pacino, whose performace alone is worth the price of admission. You can pull up clips on YouTube, but be prepared for a lot of profanity. People who like "nice movies" tend not to like this one. I think it's brilliant. [FOUL LANGUAGE ALERT!]
  9. No question -- and it's Alec Baldwin's best movie role IMO.
  10. It's a great movie, one of my favorites. It's about as mean and nasty and brutal as you can get without any physical violence.
  11. ding! ding! ding! ding! Trivial note: the Alec Baldwain part was written into the screenplay for him. It wasn't in the original play.
  12. LOL Inmate 666? You have a way with words, Gen-2.
  13. I think you're probably familiar with the "New Life in Christ" class from CES/STF. In it they talk about "jobs" in the Millenial Kingdom; farmers, fishermen, cleanup duties, etc. Huh? What if I get "cleanup duties" working alongside some dirtbag murderer/rapist who "repented" and was saved while awaiting execution on death row? Frankly, I'd rather remain in gravedom. But I did find much of the class very interesting...at the time.
  14. Did I stump everyone? Here's another quote from the same movie: "Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
  15. Thanks, hiway. From a movie filled with great quotes... "Coffee's for closers, only"
  16. To Kill a Mockingbird Do I have to wait until my answer is corroborated before I post one?

I wouldn't have guessed that in a million years. That'll teach me to waste my time on puzzles.

On the image itself, you mean? Because it still looks like a neon sign of the two-letter abbreviation of the chemical element neon (atomic #10) to me. Hmm... Yellow Submarine, 10th Beattles album Exile, 10th Stones album (which has a song called "Sweet Virginia") Self Portrait, 10th Dylan album Dylan wrote "Like A Rolling Stone" and I believe the magazine was named after the song. Pius, 9th successor to Peter Am I barking up the wrong tree here, or what?
