I think Im going to branch off a thread exploring VPW's metaphysical influences. He definately had his big toe into the occult whether he knew it or not. It was during the late 1800s with the likes of Phinaes Parkhurst Quimby, Mary Baker Eddy, E.W. Kenyon, et. al. New thought movement, law of believing -- all that. But it's well documented that these Christians were spiritists and had occultic leanings. Don't wanna get too far off topic here but it ties into Lamsa. So with wierwille there is a long list of influences from known spiritualists, etc. I was involved in the occult before becoming a Christian when is was 23. I immdiately recognized the practices taught via the law of believing as coming from the occult during my first foundational class many years ago in Kew Gardens. Of course I rationalized it all away thinking that the devil was counterfeiting the law of believing from God! Wrong. It is occultism mingled into Christianity.

He cherry picks, presents just what he wants to make his points. I waited a couple days before responding on the Acts 9 verses where Paul and his cohorts HEARD but only saw a light and Paul was blinded and scripture NEVER says he saw anything except he refers to their experience in front of Agrippa as a vision. I think the craziest conjecture I heard was God impersonated Jesus Christ in a vision to Paul when Jesus Christ is right there with God. It's always a cat and mouse game - a gotcha kind of mind set. Honestly, Im not really here for that so I bowed out of the conversation. I have too much peace in my life to let someone get me wound up on an internet forum. Mike trolls on purpose with an agenda pushing his actions - he wants us to re-take PFLAP. Never gonna happen.

"Every woman in the kingdom," cult prostitution and retribution

HQ, field and staff way corps, grads on the field. A lot of people left and the only voice they had was the internet. The blame lies squarley on VPW for training craig martindale to prey on the flock. Whenever that happens it should be made public, not hidden. Now, Im with you as far a scripture is concerned - and if that had happened we wouldn't be here. But Paul and his wife did try to confront him face to face and it went nowhere. -

I can't answer for wordwolf as to what exactly he meant, however, I was front and center at HQ and in my apprentice year of my way corps training. Basically, when the Allens stepped up and spoke out the damn of dissent broke and there was a lot of people who spoke up. -

I can't speak to Paul's actual reasoning but it was a David vs Goliath kinda thing. Legally the internet became leverage because the directors hate sunshine. -

The Allen's tried that route, that I know for sure. Before it blew up publicly they tried to meet with Craig but apparently that didn't go as planned and their only recourse was the courts. That meeting was the one that happened in the conference room next to computer services when Craig had linder show up with a holstered gun. The Allen's weren't given much of a choice. -
Ahhh that's why your so condescending.

Tying this topic back to the way international, the foundational class used to place a divine emphasis on the order the Church epistles and also saying that the book count was off because the devil caused the book number to be 66....guess thats a bad combination of numbers? I mean , I get 666 cause we are told to reckon it...anywho.... I think it's fair to say that the order of the books of the Bible, including the Church epistles are not divinely inspired but are somewhat arbitrary, depending on the culture and time period in question with some standardization along the way. The arbitrary part is our current order of books that traces back to Jerome. Before Jerome the following seems to shed some light historically https://www.cogwriter.com/original-bible-order.htm .

Not trying to straw man you here mike. It is worth considering who the people are/were who translated anything. Im not saying Llamsa is totally worthless as I think a lot can be gleaned from him culturally, etc. However, it's important to note what his beliefs were and if his beliefs affected his translation. Please read along: https://www.equip.org/articles/george-m-lamsa/

Translation: I still idolize all things wierwille to the point of thinking his books are God breathed...you do not...so we arrive at two seperate conclusions.

Also of note is the Complete Jewish Study Bible (CJSB). I don't do Hebraic Roots in any form, but with that out the way, CJSB has the books listed in (I think....pretty sure..) historical order...but maybe I am wrong. Im posting the link for discussion. Im posting an excerpt from CJSB - but the books are listed. https://www.rockofisrael.org/wp-content/uploads/cjsb_excerpt_08_2_016.pdf

Nope - the Allens took an undiscloed amount from TWI in their settlement and dipped! Cant say I blame them but I really wish they had throttled the car to the finish line and that's probably selfish of me. God knows what they went through. -
This is my first exposure to Dr. Thiel. Curious to see what others think and ill post up after I finish going over his articles/videos. https://www.cogwriter.com/original-bible-order.htm

Im not sure how walt3r C1ummins became the be all authority on all things Bible. Why because vic used to get him to fact check his drivel when he was in front of a crowd? Dog and pony show with that. Yeah, I know, walter is highly educated and probably does some really good work. But name dropping?...cmon.

So much so that when Craig tried to smooth it over with them he had Lind3r right there and Lind3r was armed. -
I need to see if I can find what Bullinger came up with on the Canon...order of books, dropped books, etc. He was a mixed bag though.

We're still in touch went to his wedding a few weeks ago up in tipp city. -
Don't expect him to do anything but troll, disrupt, and derail. I'm moving onto the topic without addressing his wierwillian doctrines.
