  1. couple butterfly strips he should be fine.
  2. Thanks, I will definately check it out and comment later when Im back home.
  3. I have that book...not to be lazy but can you point me to whereabouts in the book this is discussed? There is no table or contents or index. Ill be thumbing through it anyway so if you dont remember right off..no biggie. Thanks!
  4. Your welcome and thanks for the encouragement. It was very uncomfortable for me to post that information but this is what confessed sins and forgiveness looks like. While I am extremely ashamed of who I was and the things I did I will not hide any of it. Granted, I wont talk about my past unless there is a really good reason. But I am able to help people who are dealing with the same problems. Luke 22:31, 32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren Well, I'm not Peter, but I am now converted and I will do all I can to strengthen my brethren. Thanks again for the kind words! Before I finish my post here, let me say that you have been an inspiration for me over the years here on GSC. I love the illustrations you share, your experiences, your good works and such ... keep on keeping on and you have inspired me to continue service in my own life as well. Peace!
  5. Too many posts to quote...thanks WordWolf, Bolsh, Chock, T-Bone...I'll check all the links out when I'm home.
  6. That's interesting. Scripture tells several ways to pray...I'm not sure if it's ever explicitly stated how to pray..so much as things to pray for or in like manner pray like this...such as Lord's prayer...it wasnt that the prayer was to be recited mindlessly..but in this manner...I don't think there's anything wrong with talking to God conversationally...the attitude of love and respect is more important. So I can't say if she's in error or not cause scripture doesn't define it that way in the new testament...guess we can figure it out together...I'm learning as we go.
  7. And I think that is where it all meets the road. Christ is able to draw us out from whatever would seek to bind us. He knows how to lead people out if they want to go and he knows how to peel the scales off of our eyes. A person has to be willing to turn aside and see..but I was so gung-ho and committed to TWI at one point and look at me now...
  8. You can post here however the heck you want and it has nothing to do with mike..he has no credibility here and please please please keep right on posting the same content and hear-felt material you have contributed to date. Mike is unqualified to talk about a relationship with Jesus Christ because he believe Christ is absent.
  9. Im thinking this fluff piece is little more than giving their followers believing images of victory sort of crap...no accurate math needed because they know their followers dont actually verify anything to begin with. You hit the nail on the head with inflate numbers. Much the same way they are referencing all these countries where they have had people forever and a day but are using these folks to make it look like the new pflap is spreading around the world as we speak. I mean and whats the real reason for talking about all those countries to make it look like pflap is spreading like corona? I mean what better way to guilt followers into giving their time off work to go mall witnessing to sell classes....Those international countries sure are moving the word like a housa-fire..or maybe even having some Hossenfeffer....so you guys here in america should be able to do so much better living closer to the root. of the ministry....they actually have what they a buffer zone around headquarters....
  10. Holy smokes, thats a real thing! I mean the Bible seems to work better if someone like....actually uses it as intended...I mean...just read that dang thing........its a book...not a...
  11. Why would you be so egotistical to think anyone would care that you posted considering you post the same garbage from PFLAP over and over. You are just as unethical as some jackass with a pflap green registration card signing up toothless drug addicts to take a class that will not help them recover from their problems. Pflap is quite powerless. But go ahead an show your true passive/aggressive nature...anything you ramble about will turn striaght back to the works of a discredited, alcoholic, false prophet who was nothing more than a bullshonta class salesman for his own base greed. Oh....sexual predator too...almost forgot that one...oh...yo...you know he wasnt really a doctor right? I mean I post about it often...I guess it was on a thread you didnt read....with links you didnt follow to articles you didnt read.. Charity, jusdging from mikes content and online persona he wouldnt know Jesus Christ if showed up at his door selling kirby vacuums.
  12. Well, for me at least, it's been a progerssion and I did not grow up in the way ministry. Started out southern Baptist, the black arts, the way international, ---> to where Christ has led me today. Just a servant enjoying the life of a Son of God and all that brings. I think it has to be extremely challenging, if not outright impossible for people who were raised in TWI to make it out, or to make it out and ever be totally free...heck Im not totally free either...scars remind us.
  13. I commented on the fact that when Rinker visited Wierwille at wierwilles house he took her alone to the chapel to pray. Of course I had a snarky comment and found out here on GSC that he did in fact have an affair...hopefully someone can corroborate...or im going crazy....
  14. Yeah that never happened...for a young single apprentice corps guy the told me what my need was...never an interview process or anything to actually determine what my need actally was.
  15. Thanks!! I think either one may have been at play, but the disclosure requirements changing makes sense as well. Closing the bookstore is plausible as well...they love their paying their retainers...lol...sounds just like something a lawyer would advise.
  16. Many connections making your are...all shonta aside..real cool finds there old friend!
  17. Yes, by all accounts, she was somebody and somebody who had actually done some notable works of service and such. So yeah..
  18. Yes, and appearantly he was boinking Rinker too.
  19. Im thinking as neat as it's going to get is the Bibles we have today...thats the only neat little package required for me. I think that neat little package stuff really appeals to the "lazy" tendancies in people...and I have them too. I mean, I never double checked anything VPW said or martindale, etc...just took them at their word that it was the truth and I was called out to receive it. I think thats why the way international preys on young folks. wierwille hijacked the hippies, vern/rupp/greene/priester are heavily promoting young idealistic ministry kids who have only known TWI. God never promised a neat little package. Instead he tells us to study to show ourlves approved, to take heed to ourselves to make sure we are not living the lie and are standing on sound doctrine, to prove all things and hold fast the good, to try the spirits to see if they are really of God. Never anything about that neat little package...and thats just what they promised. My entire time in the way international I heard over and over again people fawning about wierwille, that he had worked for tirelessly for decades to put it all together so we wouldnt have to...literally...that goes around the campfire. Complete bullshonta. But at one point most all of took that hook right along with the bait.
  20. As far as I can tell he discovered Bullinger... http://www.empirenet.com/~messiah7/rsr_vcchap1-2.htm One day in summer, 1942, when Wierwille visited Butler, he met Christian missionary and writer Rosalind Rinker. She challenged him to accept the Bible not as man's work, as his liberal theological schooling had taught him, but as the Word of God. The contradiction of all he had read and heard seemed to fill him with confusion until he underwent an experience in September 1942 that changed his life. Wierwille himself describes, his experience which he claims took place as he prayed in his office in 'Payne, Ohio: "And I told Father outright that He could have the whole thing, unless there were real genuine answers that I wouldn't ever have to back up on. And that's when He 8 spoke to me audibly, just like I'm talking to you now. He said He would teach me the Word as it had not been known since the first century if I would teach it to others.
  21. A camera offers an appropriate analogy...not a digital one though...I guess that analogy went the way of the polaroid..I'm after algebraic tongues...x Shonta + y malake seetay = ?
  22. Well setting records they are not...418 people out of 7.8 billion seems a bit lackluster...
