  1. Yes. I dumped all my way connections but one. Since I did that i haven't been bothered.
  2. Great points Twinky! You do a really good job breaking down the process that we went through, and no doubt others are still stuck in. What really stands out to me is the bondage and the resulting double talk to justify it. On one hand there is freedom in Christ, and freedom in this or that - they all claim to be free. But on the other hand they feel bound because there is nothing else and nowhere else to go. That does not sound very free to me. I guess that's what happens when an organization called the way international sets themselves in Christ's stead as those that direct the affairs of the "Church." They are supplanters. Not to mention that most multi-level marketing schemes make these same sort of grand claims. Special knowledge, secret traditions all you have to do is ....then you need to.....now you should.....
  3. Ohhh....I know, we could write a horror book based on this and call it....wait...it's coming to me..... ....that's it... VP and Me!
  4. In my time in the way international I heard the following phrases quite a bit. Many who used this logic were way corpse folks justifying why they stay in the way ministry. No one has what we have No other place to go A basic summation using my way brain follows: 1) No one has what we have = Our doctrine and teachings are so accurate (we are so good at ground breaking biblical research...lol) that no one else on earth has this information. 2) No other place to go = There is no other organization that teaches doctrine and offers the household what we have where the power of God emanates. Now, if the doctrines and teachings are accurate with the bible (using it as a catch phrase to include original church epistles) then starting with the first century church everyone should have had access. Or.....(ding ding ding ding) God is a respecter of persons, which he clearly is not. Furthermore, wherever two or more are gathered so to is Christ. I mean it's Christ in you. He is also a living Lord and Savior (bear with me - just following Christian teachings) Christ is also the head of the Body and an active one at that. The book of Acts details not an organization's trek moving the word (Sorry TWI) but individuals who walked with their Lord doing his will. This deserves a little discussion since these are two slogans used to keep people in bondage. Obviously, my B.S. -o- meter is at full tilt with this jargon.
  5. lol - Just like that only different. I just figured out what "hurts inside" really means It hurts inside the Finance Department where that persons abundant sharing is noticeably absent.
  6. Amen... My all time favorite was Nayshuunul. (National)
  7. spiritual bond....what a load. I think "spiritual" is one of the most over used and abused words in the way international. I could make a list off the top of my head but will pare everyone the nausea.
  8. So, I can be left of center?... Ya, gonna go unlock my inner-Ted now....lol...
  9. Well that makes sense. It would seem like a method of control to string a person deeper into subservience to the way international.
  10. Being a Linux head I use OO a lot, since the days it was only called StarOffice. It's a great program.
  11. EGADS! My wife and I dealt with months of isolation until we started making new friends and getting a life. Now we have a normal life with neighbors, friends, functional relationships with family members and such. It was horrible when we realized all of our "friends" would have nothing to do with us. Now I say good riddance. Fake A$$ people.
  12. congrats on such a long, successful marriage!
  13. I read over some personal communications last night (thanks Belle) between individuals and a particular way corpse, TWIt. The phrase center of God's will came up and was used against an individual by the way corpse person and it has been nagging me all day. I mean WTF is the "center of God's Will." Reason would hold when dealing with good and evil that it's either sin or it's not. This particular instance an example was cited where some folks had followed unproven, and biblically inaccurate way ministry policy/counsel under the guise of being patient while headquarters hashed out some details to work the subject further, which is BS, anyway. Here's an excerpt, quoted this way for privacy sake "many desire MORE to be in the center of the will of God and are willing to await the conclusive results of the study before...." Can someone please enlighten me on this crap? From a biblical perspective if it's not specifically forbidden then it's up to the individual to decide as they walk fellowship with the Father and with the Son. This has to be some sort of spiritually abusive manipulation. Thanks for chiming in.
  14. Correct, it is nucking futts! But, so many of the believers in the way international believe just that. They seem to discount in their own theologies where the god of this world has a will and is able to exert, in spite of God's will. They like to chalk it up to their believing. I mean afterall the victory is already won. Even sick people who are born again aren't really sick - they just have to confess what they have spiritually into the senses realm. Claim it. As for natural disasters and such God would just tell them to go someplace else so the didn't wind up in the soup. I remember right after 9/11 we kept hearing about a way believer in NYC that had a bad feeling about being in the World Trade Center that morning and went on a walk before the planes hit. Now, that could well be some miraculous stuff, perhaps it's revelation, God protecting them. BUT - they set that sort of unusual occurrence as the way it should be for anyone who is doing da word. It's crazy because they don't talk about God graciously and mercifully leading his people. Instead, it all comes back to how well the believer is able to confess the word and be in a position to receive, to claim what they need from God. Demanding little frickers they are. Ever since Craig released the way of abundance and power this has been explicitly in the foundational class. I believe it is still in the new foundational class as well as living God's word as a family.

  16. Well, best I know for what you want to do is to have an external hard drive. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Western-Digital-320GB-2.5-My-Book-Mac-Edition/12547958?sourceid=1500000000000003142050&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=12547958 I have one of these. Also, keep in mind that I am a hard core computer geek with 4 internal drives (including a solid state drive - lighting fast) 1 external drive, usually 3 or more operating systems - use mostly linux, I admin a server with a groupware suite allowing me a virtual office from anywhere, plus my house is hard wired with cat5 ethernet. So, i can discuss other options too. as for doc files grab Word for Mac http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Word-Mac-2008/dp/B000XD8PZG or better yet, give openoffice for mac a whirl. http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ Feel free to private message me with questions.
  17. They would have to pay me to take it. Maybe I should start a auction for just that thing.
  18. I would check with an attorney. I have Pre-Paid Legal. But no matter how you pay it would be a good bet.
