  1. See, that's where I think we need a FB page dedicated to the Ole' Vicster that tells real story.
  2. Well, we were sure indoctrinated to believe that garbage.
  3. He is the biggest "yes ma'am" I ever saw. Lapdog is putting it mildly. The harassment policy they have is pretty standard in that it extends from sexual harassment to include all forms of harassment. It lays out procedural steps. So as a system of redress, they could get creamed in court if they don't follow it. On the other hand it protects them from folks making unfounded claims. it's really a double edged sword.
  4. Not to my knowledge. She may have toned it down publicly but I remember her saying it at many a meeting. Great point!
  5. This is from this thread: I was at headquarters during the Allen lawsuit. It was during this time that I first remember hearing Rosalie utter the phrase "This is God's ministry!" Really????.....Chapter and verse perhaps? Where in the world in the bible does God ever commit himself to own a ministry? (ok I'm with the earth is the lord's and the fullness there of, so in essence he owns all) But specifically, I'm talking ownership of the way international. I seem to remember that this day and time was supposed to be about preaching the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth while following Jesus lead since he is the head of the body. now, not to get to far on a doctrinal tangent, but I am sort of reeling from this statement and thought it would be good discussion.
  6. I started to unravel when The Forehead's Allen affair came to light. My final straw was when Rosalie took the time from busy schedule to have John Rupp harass me to the point that I had to fall back on their harassment policy to get it to stop. That was when I finally saw how mean spirited they really are at the director level.
  7. Because if you are a wayfer who believes the way international is God's ministry then you would naturally believe that Rosalie is making everything all right.
  8. It's disturbing seeing that list and reading all of that at one time. Give me the creeps. Thanks for putting that together and it no doubt just scratches the surface.
  9. I know, right? My eyes are drawn there on the map from habit...but hey habits are broken everyday!
  10. Well, the entire facility is designed so that it "blends" into the surrounding farming community. I would guess the stupid silo is in that same vein. Can you say "epic fail?" I know that Vicster and Dotsie wanted things done that way. So I would speculate that it's their brainchild.
  11. Well he may be , but he's not tha HOGDAFAT!....
  12. The way international has quite an ability to mimic / reference Old Testament events and practices. On one hand they talk about the New Testament being written to us, and more specific the Church epistles being specifically doctrine for this day and time. They quote Romans 15:4 saying the Old Testament (those things written aforetime) are for our learning. Then in practice they initiate law upon law, some of them are in the Old Testament and some of them are not - law of believing isn't even in the bible. They especially cling to a fabricated version of the curse of the law. In other words, this awful thing happened to you because you failed to do / did this thing that was contrary to ..... The way corpse leadership are especially adept at working people over with this sort of crap. So I am not surprised that there are rumors such as this that would compare Dr. Wierwille to a bastardized Moses like event where he got this incredible revelation on his deathbed.
  13. Back in the day, Wierwille had so alienated his own hometown and community that crazy rumors used to whirl around. Amongst those was the fake grain silo on the PWA was actually a missile silo.
  14. Glad you hung in there! You're no the only one blind sided by this crap of being taught to not process your emotions. My son was born with health problems and it wasn't until I left that cult that I realized I was an emotional wreck. I had never honestly dealt with all I had been through. So, together with my wife, we spent months talking and "decompressing" all that was pent up inside. When I was in the way international I was afraid that if I stopped to cry, or curse my day, or express my anger, sadness, or frustration then it would be a negative confession so I tried to pretend those things should be suppressed. It took a heavy toll on me and I realized that I was slowly becoming a depressed and miserable. I am happy to say that after leaving the way international and ditching all their bondage that we are a happy family once again. We are able to be better parents and are able to raise our son so that he can cope with life's problems instead of denying they are happening or going into loathing, self-condemnation.
  15. Thanks for the info on the PWA Skyrider, I haven't had the history on it before, other than the official jargon liken the PWA to building the temples in the Old Testament. As for watching the STS or other recordings - I absolutely could not stand going to those meetings. Especially because we would act like we were there. Standing when the audience stood, etc. It was awful.
  16. well, and that sure was abused beyond belief. I guess pick your poison?
  17. I just had one remove from my lower back......
  18. What a load of mystical bull..... God showing him the error of his ways on his deathbed. It would have been more useful if God had showed him the error of his ways while he was alive and could change his evilness before he victimized all those unsuspecting ladies. And perhaps he could have showed VPW that Craig was an idiot. Perhaps ole Vicster could have operated discerning of foreheads to know all about Craig or something....anyways.
  19. Good grief, I was pushed to do that crap starting in the late 90s. It's as if some honcho at HQ said "We'll have them go pick them up." Most times people would give an emphatic "no, they can make it there on their own." Of course after that sort of pressure many prospects ran the other way. The pressure to pick people up was worse when someone had made the mistake of signing up for a class. Oh well, so much for auxano growth (growth from within without compulsion). Yep, but not to the way international. To them speaking the word is some sort of magical power release that causes devil spirits physical pain. (I know spiritual beings feeling physical pain...interesting eh?) Not only so but witnessing also drops crime rates, heals the sick, and many other magical things. All from the person just speaking. Note the total lack of emphasis on God's power and the workings of Jesus Christ. It's all about the person talking and releasing that inner power by speaking the word. It's just creepy. Don't even get me started on worship of self that this promotes.
  20. dayum debil spuurts all strrd up....
  21. Thanks!, just goes to show that the sun shines on a dog's rear on occasions.
  22. Oh, along those lines, let's not forget that according to Romans that all born again received the same measure of holy spirit. If I make mine big and strong wouldn't I have more? The body building analogy really crumbles since that's all about adding more muscle.
