  1. Well, this is probably covered as thoroughly as a nun's legs so you old timers here at the spot will hopefully afford me a little mercy. I was reading the PDF verison of the Blue Book (I tossed all my hard copies long before being a Grease Spot - so the wayfer who made those REALLY did me a favor ) Anyways. And the jargon goes onward to say that more clear you visualize what you want the better and sooner you will have it. No mention of asking God or The Lord to grant your request, or fill your horn, or give that which you need...nothing of the sort. Only thank God that the answer and your release is coming. I know John Juedes covered this very well so I won't drag it on. But let me get to my point. It's simples....this is WRONG! I spent years going through my excessively long "thank you" list only to lose all desire to pray. I used to cringe in fellowship when others prayed their "thank you father" prayers. When I first got involved with the way international I used to love to pray. I asked much and asked often and thanked God for his goodness and praised him with an open heart. I allowed this garbage to KILL my prayer life. Damnable heresy! O.K....done dancing on my soapbox now.
  2. Ditto. Boy, I guess so. Craigory blathered CONSTANTLY about the hopelessness of homosexuality. According to The Forehead there was little hope because after a person fell that low their conscience was seared and that was almost always irrevocable, unless God could work out the healing by a series of miracles. That is the sum and substance of his drivel.
  3. I'll stop thinking now...maybe they will let me retake the Foundational class again?
  4. Heheheh! No harm, no foul. Chuck fits him just fine. (no offense to legitimate Chucks out there_ _) To quote Zechariah, "his name is John." Really, his star had been waning for some time now and I would wager he is relieved. He's an interesting person. He's like Darth Vader....there is some good in there. But he has had a rough go of it. And like Thomas Beckett, allowed himself to blindly fulfill the role the position dictated. He wronged many people and has willingly been the tip of the spear for many years. So, sympathy?...No! Empathy?...a little.
  5. Not sure of your source, but Lally was my region coordinator and told us way disciples of group 5 the very same thing at a Sunday brunch when the program was over. So I hear it first hand, straight from the horses a$$....uhh...I mean mouth....ya.....that's what I meant....
  6. Did you ever find it curious that in the way international they talk EXTENSIVELY about seed of the serpent, the Devil's own seed, Children of the Devil, the unforgivable sin, wells w/o water, those who are open to possession from any spirit at anytime that the Devil chooses to send in to move things. Get the drift? At other times they talk about homosexuals. They are called the lowest of the low - meaning the devil spirit that makes people homosexual are the lowest on the devil spirit totem pole, they are devoid of judgment, they are without feeling and have given themselves over to lasciviousness and I could go on. Now, I am not trying to debate what the Bible states on either subject. However, I am calling attention to the fact that there was so much condemnation put on homosexuals that the seed of the serpent folks really got a pass in comparison. When you think about it the "seed boys" would be worth the greater damnation. No? Genocide, wars, poverty, famine, etc. versus having relations with people of the same sex. Mmmmmm....why wouldn't the seed of the serpent people be the lowest of the low? What gives?
  7. Oh, it doesn't really matter to me. I downloaded them and, now that I can search via computer, will have comments. The damage is done.
  8. Or you try, and swing by and do a drive-by at da Spot to make yourself feel a little better.
  9. Me-Haul...come on, you and FeLeeeesha were so nice when you did your year at HQ. Geeesh, was that a rehabilitation period? Oh well....who will ever know... Thank you. I am happy you are here and encourage you to let loose. Or not...really, whatever you need to do. Thanks again for the encouragement.
  10. Awesome! (and very close to reality)
  11. I was just wondering if those are things that are inherent in the new nature as talked about in the Bible? or things we talk about?....Perhaps we get to play whack-an-innie again.
  12. ROFL! I love the perspective chockful! Ya, great way to maintain your way corpse numbers, eh?
  13. Ya,??....and please explain how this fits in the context of a Facebook group? Thanks in advance.
  14. YES! Being right before God was definitely implied if not directly stated. Great posts!
  15. I have never compared the two. Just wondered what good the "literals" are. But now I have to go compare the two. Apparently, Wierwille's Pike's Peak Seminary "doctorates" degree failed to teach him how to cite references. Curious, no?
  16. Yep. On David, and this may be a little off topic. David REPENTED of his evil. He wanted forgiveness. I have heard so many parallells between Victor Paul Wierwille and Craig Martindale's sins and David's sins. And yes David appears the worse. But David admitted he was wrong and asked for forgiveness from his God. And he got it. So to me the records of David illustrates his sins, but they pale in comparison to God's grace, mercy, and forgiveness. And how many of the Psalms express just that! The way international has asked no one forgiveness. They have not apologized. And by all accounts, they think they are right in the things they persist. Neither Victor Paul Wierwille, nor Craig Martindale, nor Rosie Red Rivenbark have ever come out and tried to reconcile the sins they carry. And so the difference is glaring. Kieth, I do not think you are drawing that comparison - for the record.
  17. They didn't kick me out just tried REALLY hard to mess with me and bring me under their total control. It was nasty and in retrospect would have been better to kick me out.
  18. Here's a nice jewel, when you start following the links. http://we.standfortruth.us/Epistles.Lit.Trans/ and another http://we.standfortruth.us/Dr.VPW.texts/
  19. So, if I need a house, some fruit juice, and a priest....ya got me covered?
  20. I would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Way International for trying to kick me in the a$$ as I was leaving HQ for a field assignment. Without your help I would likely still be in your little, corn field cult. Thanks to your efforts I am free from your bondage and sorting it all out on here on Grease Spot Cafe, the bane of your existence. Thank you, and God Bless you Abundantly! <_<
  21. Well documented it may be and relevant at that. But the newbies, like me, have come along and laid waste to the kinder, gentler way international. Rosalie has erected a facade of change. She has let people draw their own erroneous conclusions by making changes in appearance but not recanting the former errors. Perhaps they are in a pickle from explicitly demanding so much in the old days? Either way. My point is there are a lot of people hoodwinked into thinking it's all different now and Rosalie is the great catalyst for change, God's healer of broken hearts if you will. In reality she is cast from the same legalistic mold as her predecessors and has only furthered their work in preserving a system based on lies, abuse, and manipulation. I only hope more newbies break out of that place and come along to give a witness so we can compare notes and see that nothing has really changed. It's an honor to leave my own testimony alongside the others.
  22. I enjoyed that newlife. Thanks! I don't blame them, but I sure hold them responsible. Like Abigail, I have had to go back and think a little about what made me so vulnerable to this sort of scam. Sad to say it appealed to the part of me that is just lazy. The idea of the bible just working and everything from God having been given for us to claim by our mental prowess was just appealing. That's at least part of it. As for holding them responsible, they have an extra level of duty to be honest in the sight of God in how they conduct themselves. Yet they walk in falsehood and hypocrisy and are worthy of the greater damnation.
