  1. I understand The Forehead still thinks he is right and has done nothing wrong. But I really don't know that first hand. That's the rumor buzzed around HQ.

    Agape

Very likely considering he starts his agape indoctrination as early as page 9 in the "blue book." Strange how many people were wronged by people who supposedly had renewed minds where the love of God is axiomatically "perfected."

Why, yes - yes I do. Probably something he "already gave", sitting there in the treasure house waiting for his kids to walk right in and claim what's rightfully theirs!

When did the way international bastardize the term agape into a circular definition that clearly does not define the term, but states it's origin, and erroneously states where it is located? the way international definition: Yes - it circularly defines love with love and then gives the origin - God. Then it tells where to have it. In the mind, but how do you manifest something in your mind? It's just a garbled mess to me. Plus they say it is a spiritual quality inherent in the gift of holy spirit but it must be "put on" in the renewing of one's mind. To make matters worse, in reality it's "manifestation" is reserved for 1950s style table etiquette that is religiously drilled into advanced class students / grads / way disciples / in-residence way corps. Even worse than that is the magical application. You guys remember the oral traditions of how "everything gives off something?" So it became some magical essence that is imparted by running retemories and thinking happy thoughts while handling physical items. I even had a fellowship coordinator tell the fellowship he saw the love of God in a paint job some believers volunteered to do in his place of business. I wonder if he saw green. Anyway. I think a biblical definition by example is simple, God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Christ displayed the love of God in giving himself. Perhaps I could define it loosely by saying loving others to the end of selflessly giving what others need. What is given is not mentioned only that it's what is needed. Does anyone have the background on this?
  5. Yes, that was classic.

  6. I guess that is a double edged sword. On one hand there is worthless information all over the internet. On the other there are true accounts. What things you decide to answer are really of a personal nature. Again, that is a double edged sword. As an example, the way international has told it's followers that the information regarding them on the internet are all lies that the devil orchestrated against them. (I'm paraphrasing - but I heard the orders to stay off the internet firsthand) So not answering and seeking to discredit detractors is a technique used by some. So I have no clear answer. Only providing opposing viewpoints.
  7. I dunno. I would say you are dealing with a skeptical crowd, myself included, here at GSC. You have to shoot straight from the hip and have an indisputable track record. If reasonable doubt can be raised from a few searches credibility is pretty much lost. It can be regained but it puts the burden of proof on you to answer a lot of people shooting a lot of questions.
  8. Personally, I agree. Modern occult teachings are an amalgamation of ancient practices altered somewhat by varying cultures but have many similar underlying principles. That's what I concluded from reading a lot. Doesn't mean I am right, or perhaps I am oversimplifying things a bit. It's been 20 years or more since I studied any of that stuff. I do remember enough to talk a little though.
  9. I get it. James, I have often wondered why you would bother with an ex-way international website. You are looking for ex-researchers to come work on things like Gmira? That would make sense to me at this point.
  10. This author is clearly born of the seed of the serpent!
  11. That's my take on that too and many of those books were passed on to the infamous "junk tables" to be displayed at the advanced class. Complete with stern warnings to NEVER go read that stuff because it was so dangerous. Sound like perhaps someone, somewhere was afraid of being seen naked? THANKS!!!! I just got to the part where she mentions the author of The Secret blamed the tsunami victims for attracting the tsunami! Sound familiar, fellow ex-wayfers?
  12. Careful or they'll spring a class registration card on ya!
  13. The question that looms is did VeePee know what he was teaching traced it's roots back to the occult?
  14. I'll tell you what, unless a person can start dealing with that belief system it STAYS around, even in the way international's absence. Posting here has forced me to go back and rethink everything.
  15. First off, great post! Very insightful. The way international has the attitude that they owe nobody nothing! Because the put out classes, teachings, publications they have made it available for people to learn how to fish. I kid you not. I think even the concept of fiduciary responsibility to their employees was thrust on them by their lawyers. I have heard Queen Frau Q-tip say on countless occasions that "the way international owes people nothing." Of course she would say something like that considering she has ice water in her veins. They treat people like trash. Ignore clear principle like, the laborer is worth of his hire, and pay as little as possible only when they have to pay. Here's the kicker. They tell people to give their money and God will bless them for doing so. Sow sparingly reap sparingly, sow bountifully reap bountifully! They will not lift a finger outside the functions I listed to help anyone. So I can give my money to them and their cold, hard, calculated response is to hoard it away and tell me God will recompense my gift. Most of their people have nothing to show for their ABS. Most of the people I knew in the way international were basically living paycheck to paycheck. First let me say I am ok with that in the sense that there is a lit more to life than money. But if all this tithing based, money giving is such an immutable law, then they better put some effort into law enforcement, because it sure seems that it's broken. One of the ways the get people to accept this stuff is to say your spiritual understanding will grow by leaps and bounds when you increase you're ABS from the tithe. The tithe only covers material blessings, or some such garbage. And what about the check to check folks who are basically poor? God is blessing them the abundantly but he ONLY gives them what they can handle. I wonder is they ever thought about how insulting that is to people? In other words, God would give you more but you are too stupid to know what to do with it so he gives you just a little bit, but hey it's God's abundance! Meanwhile, the way international had $54,000,000 in assets sitting around someplace. Bastards.
  16. I haven't been here that long, but I know exactly what you are talking about. It has done me a world of good to come here and deal with the wreckage. Thanks Grease Spot!
  17. Been using it since 1999 and love it. If you haven't try Ubuntu for user friendly. Otherwise, Fedora, SuSE very good too.
  18. This has an RPM link. http://www.real.com/realplayer/linux I've had mixed results with the real play packages before but today I set up the deb file and it works now.
  19. Oh, I'm sorry I was not implying you were. Your post got me thinking for a minute to separate the things added by the way international to a Christian lifestyle. After re-reading my post I realize I could have said that more clearly. My apologies.
  20. Well, I wouldn't call the way international's lifestyle Christian, I would say it has some Christian elements. Especially at a root locale. Perhaps I could say the root locale since there is only one left?
  21. It.s a .rm file which takes RealPlayer. http://www.real.com/ Ham, not sure which Linux distro you are using, on Ubuntu you have to use RP or install win32 codecs or use Helix Player. Here's where I got the Donna file from with some more goodies. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/main2/way-documents.html
