  1. Uh-oh. 80% chance of severe adversary overnight. He must be SOOOO mad they are revealing his kingdom right about now...in a little cornfield way out in the country....to less than a few hundred people....if that much......
  2. Personally, I do not know of any other groups that use this verse in this fashion. Though, I assume has been used by others both present and past. Do you know of other groups that twist it this way? On another note I have enough trouble controlling myself throughout the day. What kind of idiot wants to try and control others....just Saying...
  3. I was taught growing up in the church that this verse meant civil governments. Not blind obedience to evil tyrants but submission to civil authorities. I could give more scriptural background about why I believe this but it's irrelevant in the scheme of things. Now, I am taken along by the way international and learn that this section of scriptures supposedly means that we are to be in total submission to the way international's leaders. They are the higher powers. Then the take the gift ministries in Ephesians and call them "ruling ministries?" I really believe that this twisting of scripture is the cornerstone of spiritual abuse in the way international. In essence VeePee declared himself lord of the church and ordained taskmasters to keep things under his thumb. Craig perfected VeePee's megalomania. Now, Rozilla sits as Queen Bee just as long she is able to prop her decrepit self up on the scepter. She rules her subjects with an iron fist in a velvet glove. No doubt, since nothing new comes out of the way international, this topic is as fresh as an old sock. But I posted it here this time around for fresh discussion since it is the latest layer in my recovery from the way international's twisted doctrines.
  4. Every time I think I have heard it all, I am surprised to learn a new low perpetrated against some poor person in need. So typical of way corps to come circling in when a person is down and kick them just to be sure the standards of the way international are imposed on it's subjects.
  5. ROFL! They look at from how it will benefit them, the ministry. They do pull boneheads from time to time to come to headquarters for some "training." But in the end they just want someone likeable. I wouldn't give my money to someone I didn't like....just saying
  6. Nope, seen the same thing, just never gave it much thought. Only when the lower name tag trumps the next higher by going to a higher name tag have I seen it differently.
  7. Nah, were a little BUT - the various commitment levels are represented on one's lapel in the color of the nametag. No doubt. I call it a spiritual caste system.
  8. Nope! Not a word, whisper, or peep! Just an unfortunate one off that he has paid dearly for.
  9. "Oh, placements is over and there will be new leaders coming soon! I sure am glad Rev So and So is leaving. Things will be so much different now, our new coordinators are just wonderful!" Ever feel that way before? I can remember the excitement of new leaders coming to town. My question, and rhetorical it may be, does it really change the fact that the way international is a manipulating, money hoarding cult? So there are fresh faces on the local scene but it's the same old cult. Just new leaders regurgitating the same old lines just a slightly different way.
  10. Well, that explains a lot. Pure crap - mistake in judgment and mistake in heart. So his philandering ways were not a mistake in heart, and therefore forgivable when he never changed? Creep till the end I understand.
  11. During my time in the way ministry I learned about this topic. Found it insightful but not earth shattering.
  12. Nothing is the difference. Plus, the way international has the attitude that the ministry owes people nothing. Never mind that commitments are a two sided affair. Servants for example expect to be taken care of for their service, be it something as respectable salary. Nope - the way international would expect slavery from the people that commit themselves to the way ministry. Just another disposable resource at hand. Use it up and throw away the waste that remains. Oh, and let's work extra hard to do without because we need to steward our $54 million in abundant sharing we have squirreled away in our assets. But you need to do without and give more.
  13. Well, at the 2000, or 2002 advanced class special these records on Paul were taught to explain away Craig Martindale's sexual predations. The cited record after record of Paul and pointed out all the good he had done and then he made a mistake in judgment. Not a mistake in heart because that is an extra evil mistake. So, Paul suffered an attack from within the household at the hand of James and those in Jerusalem and that's what had happened, in essence, to the way international with Craig. They made a REAL big effort to help us see it "spiritually." So, once again the scriptures are twisted to support their evil, narcissistic Acts. Pun intended.
  14. I was there to serve God. I started to wake up over a 10 year period starting with the fall of the Forehead. Of course I mostly bought Rozilla's kinder, gentler facade that she has so carefully constructed over the years. I bought it until I came face to face with her fangs and realized that she is much the monster of her predecessors. That and she will happily apply her policies to you while exempting herself. Translation: She would have heavily counseled and/or possibly demoted anyone else that treated me the way she and The Pineapple wannabe did. Anymore, if subordinates are heavy handed or work double standards where the ministry is exposed to a potential harassment lawsuit them it's shame on them and they will be thrown under the bus if need be. However, if she leads the charge then it's the spirit of God working in her. That is until she is faced with the someone willing to start anti-harassment proceedings against them according to the staff handbook that could potentially lead to a lawsuit. Ya, she changes her tune then. Becomes oh so lovey dovey.
  15. OMG - I forgot all about that crap!
  16. There's subordinate lapdog's in the way corpse that matter so long as the are carrying her tray and there are those that don't come across her radar screen. I mean no insult to you, and really, you would be better off you weren't one of the chosen few to carry the old lady's bags.
  17. Or obnoxious wayfers demanding perfection from their local stores/restaurants. Perhaps those are one in the same. I am still reeling over the nerve of people embellishing and re-manufacturing their family crest to make it themselves look like the chosen one.
  18. I don't know, but I could speculate "from the sea?" near the sea? I do like your version better. It's fitting.
  19. It would seem that Wierwille was tweaked. That sort of thing just isn't normal.
  20. Yes! I can attest to this first hand. Plus, they try to tie in some special symbolism because their coat of arms had doves in them or something. Megalomaniac that old VeePee was. Like ole' Simon, the vicster made himself out to be some great one.
  21. Oh, I loved my name tags in my more deluded early days. Then I remember The Forehead promoting people to go corps by throwing out the challenge "Go for the Marble!" The way corpse have marbled name tags. In the end I came to loathe name tags as just another needless, artificial barrier separating one another. In all likelihood, probably part of my deprogramming from that place.
  22. No, it's near Grand Lake, Saint Mary's! You can see it as you walk into the PWA. Da bronze Vicster.
  23. Well, statue of limitations would likely squash legal action at this point. Harassment Policies are known as a system of redress that serves the dual purpose of protecting the employer as well as the employee. You can bet that the directors grudgingly inserted that in the staff handbook when they did because their lawyers smacked em upside the head for not having one. Even though the well informed employee can occasionally have cause to use it, and some do , most do not. I would wager it was not around when you were wronged by this douche you describe. Punk a$$ that he was. Big man picking on a single woman!
