The Way Corpse - and ex-insiders perspectives.
OldSkool replied to OldSkool's topic in About The Way
Point well taken. However, after years of having to dance around their protocol, carefully observe their way styles document which dictates all kinds of religious rules in capitalizing certain "holy" words and such, after learning that VP never received a "real" doctorates degree - yet he is known as Dr Wierwille, after learning that VP and craig were sexual predators that victimized those in their flock, (and so many other things I could cite) I will never give them the respect they so adamantly demand! Hell, I even use lower case letters when referring to them on purpose. You know what offends my sensibilities are the many evils perpetrated by the way international against people who wanted nothing more than to know God and have a better life. Not whether or not someone has nicknames for these people. They deserve what they get. They are reaping what they have sowed. How many people suffered character assassination at the hands of these monsters? Received the "bums rush? Had their names used on corps mornings where everyone learned of their mistakes and how terrible they were? Nope. Reap what you sow. I have no respect for them and will give them none. I was way corps as well and found that program and leadership structure to be quite lifeless while it promises to make those in the ranks "good ministers of Jesus Christ." Yet the ranks are filled with some of the most heartless, vile legalistic people I have ever came across. I mean no offense to you. I suppose I should be offended by the things I write as well seeing I was in the corps. But I have come to realize that I took the prime of my life and threw it into a hole where my efforts were used to further a cult that would enslave it's followers. While that is my responsibility, I am a little miffed over the whole affair. I suppose that comes across in my choice of words. -

EGADS! Run for the hills! The field leadership have been under pressure for a few years now to scare up some new staff since the current numbers are so very thin. Rozilla thought that people weren't being told how wonderful staff life is for those who are spiritually minded. I mean after all, if people knew they would come be on staff. So she brought in the region coordinators for placements after not inviting for several years. That way they would know all about the open positions at HQ first hand and could rustle up some new suckers. I wonder how that's worked out? -
That would be this thread

That man was sick and a monster as was VeePee. The current board of dummies knows about this and no doubt so much more and are just as guilty for covering it up and perpetuating the "image" of VeePee. I am really sorry your friend was victimized this way, Excathedra.

I know all too well and that it's a one way street. I commit to them they discard me when needed. -
HA! Same old cover up methods reportedly used by Victor Paul Wierwille, except this time they didn't work! Love it.

Just in case there are those who doubt the way international would teach that awful things happen to those that leave the way international. Don't try and say that time has erased this statement. This is what they still believe. No one has ever taught differently. Pssst....hey Donna....betcha ya wish you'd never said this?....or maybe that it wasn't available for public download. Perhaps this is "advanced teaching?" http://www.greasespotcafe.com/main2/component/option,com_docman/Itemid,29/task,doc_download/gid,29/

That's a great point. They base so much of their supposed superiority on false negative comparisons between them and ....insert worldly group here....!

Well said JJ! Then they cite a couple of isolated records that they wrest out of context. "Jesus came to bring a sword between families" "Let the city bury the dead" is another used to mean let the community care for your old parents. -
Devil spirits seem to be the de-facto cause of anything even remotely anti-the way international. Even in spite of the way international's own wrong doings perpetrated by the board of dummies. Obviously, this was used as a control and separation tactic starting from the early days of VeePee. Example: Allegation - Miss Victim had sex with VeePee on the motor coach. Response - Miss Victim is possessed with lying spirits and should be avoided. Just a true to life example intended to make the point. But then the way international tells it's followers that they do the works of Jesus Christ. Can anyone find one record where Jesus warned his followers to avoid so and so because they were a willing host to devil spirits? Thought not - he CAST OUT the spirits! What does the way international do? They accuse people of being possessed and then cast out the supposed possessed person! Then they issue warnings to those still in the way international to stay away from so and so because they are possessed. But one of my all time favorites is the term "courting devil spirits." Ain't that a bitch? I've seen this tactic used to divide families. Example: "Your father is either possessed or courting major devil spirits." I've had similar statements used against my own family members. My sister is a chronic alcoholic and my mother's fellowship coordinator told her that "her daughter was a sinking ship and would take her down too unless she stayed away." Thankfully my mother left the cult about the same time I did and has since mended fences with my sister and started attending Al-anon meetings. Just to reiterate for the lurking innies. Jesus cast out spirits not people! NOT ONE RECORD of him casting out people. Many, many records of him casting out the spirits though and keeping the people. Just a thought...eh?

Great points on the Wierwille / Kipp double standard. They make themselves sound as if they are some second rate "Christ line." If "spirit" is thicker than blood how come they are so quick to boot people to the curb? D@mn - that rhymed, for a moment I was a poet and didn't know it. -
I think the name GreaseSpot Cafe says it all. The point being that if we left the way international bad, horrible, evil, things would be perpetrated against us by the adversary. Is this the love of God? Is this the goodness of God? I would like to dedicate a thread to the freedom and prosperity many of us have found post-way international. My wife and I run a succesful, work at home business (not MLM based) that keeps expenses low and income at a comfortable level. Strange how much more I have since I am not giving a cult 15% I am free to raise my child w/o feeling the need to gain the approval of some leadership idiot who is always sizing us up. I own my own home, free and clear and have renovated it to me and the Mrs. likings. I have developed new friendships with different religious beliefs that mine. One of my closest is ...gasp...a Jehovah's Witness. (he knows to leave it alone with me and we get along great) I have rekindled old friendships with people I grew up with and become very close with my "earthly" family. (God I hate that name) I have rekindled my music career, something I thought was lost long ago. I have been delivered from the bondage of trying to convince myself that "there is nothing else out there!" (Life in all of it's fullness is "out there." Don't let anyone lie to you!) My wife and I are free to dream our future and make plans accordingly. To choose where we live and be good taxpaying citizens who contribute to our community. I could go on and will likely add things later. But one thing I have come to realize. My worst days outside of the way international have been better than my best days inside that controlling, abusive, cult! Oh, one more thing. I am beginning to get to the place that I want to get things sorted out with God and Christ. To start pursuing a relationship with them. Sorry TWI, you have not cornered the market like you think you have and you are not the gatekeepers to the true living way, Jesus Christ. And on that note I have learned to respect other's God given right to believe as the damn well choose and I feel no pressure to try and convince them that my little cornfield cult is the true religion. Blah!

Exception to that is she has a modified program where she has certain things that have re-molded in her "wisdom." Example, is the STS and other publications that are so damned dry, boring, weak, un-offensive, etc. These are considered timeless, and above reproach so that the ministry be not blamed. That is Rosis's doings and her and the cheerleaders wave their pom-poms in the green room week from week just reinforce how great things are. <_<

Speaking up in the kinder and gentler way international
OldSkool replied to OldSkool's topic in About The Way
Yep. Ironical that Jesus cast out the spirits when he came across possessed people. In the way international they cast out the PEOPLE who are supposedly possessed, and not the "spirits." -
Chockfull and shortfuse have the bead on things. RosaLIE has spent the last decade setting policies and promoting spineless worms that will ensure that what she has done to emasculate the way international is preserved posthumously. The people she has in place on the cabinet and on the board of dummies have no fight in them. Their only roles are to obey policy and say yes when Rozilla comes calling. I posted on this a little while ago. It's old news, I learned of it in 2007.

Rich people don't need their empty promises of abundance, they already have what the way can never give them -abundance. Poor folks don't usually fall for con games like the way international likes to play because they see them all the time, everyday. The way is not interested in poor people anyway. No way they are going to abundantly share. The way international targets middle class suburbia. They have long since abandoned the inner cities, prison outreach, working class neighborhoods, etc. As a rule of thumb that is, no room for absolutes in such a broad based statement. I would be absolutely shocked if they ever changed the wording while RosaLIE is alive and still holding the scepter. -

There is a real good reason that things are kept so incredibly confidential. Should enough sunlight get into board of dummies closets that place would be mothballed quickly. -

Natural leadership ability - whatever the hell that is. <_< So what he was really saying was he wanted people who were already charismatic that would be plausible in selling the classes. -
