Well, currently in the way international, miracles are held to be earned. They are earned on good discipleship and faithful service by volunteering your time. Oh, let's not forget that we are supposed to give at LEAST 10% of our money. Then we can look in the gospels and see Jesus healing the multitudes. It is so clear that he just healed them out of love. Jesus spent his time amongst the publicans and sinners setting the example for his disciples. Freely loving the unlovable. The way international is full of false prophets and teachers that disciple people to a bastardized law that Victor Paul Wierwille extrapolated from various and sundry sources that tickled his fancy. The longer a person stays involved with the way ministry the farther they are carried away from God. I agree, and can say from experience, that "in a toxic faith system the organization takes the place of God." In the case of the way international they teach that the bible takes the place of the absent Christ. So in the end the follower is left with no God and no Christ all the while they are supposedly the elite, the enlightened Christians who know that they know that they know. They believe themselves to be the best of the best of the best. Sad really.

God was fair game too. They used to say that taking the Lord's name in vain amounted to praying in the name of Jesus Christ without believing. But saying Jesus Christ as an expletive of saying God d__nit was perfectly acceptable. The also managed to ignore clear sections of scripture like the little blurb in Ephesians about filthy communication, etc. Oh, adultery too. According to Craig that was a reference to spiritual adultery where people went whoring after other gods.

There was a ton of empty dorm room in founders hall when I was there. Yet they still made people room together.

Way builders is a blast from the past. In its place is Mechanicals, Maintenance, Architecture and Engineering, and at least a couple "project managers." And they do a significant amount of outsourcing. As for guests, after there have been 15 layers of approvals they are allowed. But only at the right times and only after the board of dummies give approval.

If my memory serves me correctly, Rosalie keeps the snail mail contact on the website so people have to put a little effort into contacting them. That way it supposedly helps weed out people who aren't "serious."

Your welcome, all! The other notable point in the infomercial is how they portray themselves doing "research." Basically, they are using international outreach department staff to make it appear they have a research team. Jean-Yves DeLisle, St3v3 Cr0mm3tt, J3n3tt3r L0m@x, and Pi3rre R@ph@3l B@3nd3 are in the library in the OSC. Completely staged, completely false, AND they are all using books, pencils, and papers. That is the way internationals romanticized imagery of true biblical research. No computers, do not use Bibleworks, or the many, many resources on the internet. Nope, do it all with books, pen and paper. Why? Computer programs are "less accurate" than printed materials. As if printed materials are 100% accurate? Hold up.... There now that I got some kool aid I am feeling a little better about things.

No, Rosie decides who is ordained and when. When ordination take place, it usually happens at an advanced class special. Ordinations are FEW and FAR between.

What I have a problem with is Victor Paul Wierwille saying his ministry was Christian, all the while cloaking occult practices in his teachings and then denouncing the occult. In reality, his works helped hide true Christianity, which is relationship between God, Christ, and those who confess Romans 10:9,10. The hypocrisy is what chaps my a$$. Otherwise, people have the God given right to believe as they chose.
