That's more exciting compared to the snore fest that Rosalie has made them, they are so boring. I'm glad Rosalie is their leader, she will ensure they eventually implode. Great job, Rosie!

No I was talking about placement meeting several years ago. Interesting information you posted. Sounds like now they have to come back in and smooth over Rosie's teeth marks.

As a convert who came along under Craig's rule, I always found the term "father in the Word" (when applied to VPW) creepy. Really, I do not really understand the point Paul was making with the Corinthians, but I know it wasn't to designate them as "his." When I was on staff at HQ there was this very reverential portrait / sketch of Victor Paul Wierwille that made him look real fatherly, and it quoted that verse and referenced him as "father in the word." After Craig was ousted and Rosalie went fulltime in sanitizing Victor Paul Wierwille's image that term came to be frowned upon and the picture removed eventually. Strange, no?

To match the over-inflated egos, and sense of self importance. As a side note, Rosie brought the region guys in for placements (as opposed to dialing in on phone hookups) and you should see them saunter about as if heaven and earth was hinged on the most spiritually significant event called "placements," where the board of directors (read Donna and Rosie) decide where to move a few people. Like bringing in a dozen or so peacocks. I digress, back to the thread topic.

I see old Lippie is a well trained lap dog now. I knew him when he was going through his in-rez training back when Craig was king. He has that signature way international legalism absorbed into his character. So give him a chance to be heavy handed and I am sure, as we can see, he will jump all over it. Is Lip still the region guy over there now?

Ahh, but here is where the problem comes in. Even though a 501c-3 non-profit corporation is a separate entity and can be correctly referred to as "anyone", the IRS has very specific reporting rules for donation that are supposed to be made public. So really, it is our business.

Just goes to show you that once you know who is who and how they operate, despite all their feeble attempts at confidentiality, the simpletons are not that difficult to figure out.

If I were to speculate a little, I know that D@ve and P@tti D3t3r$ were involved, who live in Grand Junction I think. P@tti is Donna Martindale's sister. Also, I understand that G@ry Fr3d3rick is involved. So if this is the case the scam hit very close to home. So it very well may be a case of Donna and Rosie using the ministry's control structure for revenge and CYA purposes.

Good intentions pave the way to hell.

Great post, Chock. That about sums up how I feel about "men of God" and their subsequent "organizations."

As a father of a young child I can say that it really takes very little physical correction. An occasional whack on the behind is enough. There is no reason to use a spoon, beat with a belt, etc. Hitting a child in anger, multiple times is not necessary. My kid knows we love him and will listen to us because my wife and I spend time talking to him and explaining why we are correcting him.

Hey, it's cool to put CFF to the light of day, so to speak, and hear good things. As I said, other than SOWERS, and VPW, I have no qualms with them. Concerning VPW, it's not like they have pictures, statues, and such as you enter the property. I have heard him referenced in very reverential terms during teachings they have on their website. So it would seem that there is some VPW nostalgia associated with them. But none the less, we see good fruit and I think it is cool. Perhaps I am error associating SOWERS with them? Can anyone verify the association?
-
Because CFFM is based on VPW and his offspring, and they must sanitize him to have even an appearance of legitimacy. This way they can blame the way international's problems on Craig and Rosie then have a nice little haven for ex-wayfers that can come, be casual, and carry on Vic's legacy. From my experiences attending the fellowship that is close to me they just want some bible and others to fellowship with. Besides SOWERS I really have nothing bad to say about them except they sanitize Victor Paul Wierwille into a great man.

Yes, and a bad liver as well. Good thing Drambuie wasn't on special
-
I think this one line is my personal "favorite." We could change it for accuracy: V.P. Wierwille had others toil for 14 to 16 hours per day, week after week, year after year in his exploitation of the truth

Bad for you, you encountered two of the biggest pompous a$$ goof balls this side of the Atlantic.

The mind has a way of forgetting traumatic experiences....

I guess he learned simple minded and backwards from his predecessors...or maybe it came natural...
-
How simple minded and backwards can you get. I love the "absolutes" thrown in there for good measure, i.e. ever, not until, always. I never had the class but can almost picture Craig teaching it while yelling and being all animated....

May I say that during four years of in-residence corps training I never received ANY instruction in counseling. Never. Not once. As graduated way corps I counseled daily. Talk about a recipe for disaster. I had a real knack for telling people what to do with their lives I am only thankful that the only two people I wronged out of all my counseling session accepted my apology when I tracked them down to make things right after leaving TWI. Both of those situation went wrong from following the BOD instructions that were given me.

My block and a half trek to one of the local pubs was rewarded with Bushnell's on special. Had a fun night. Coulda got a WUI tho - walking under...ya it was a bad joke, what can I say.

Sounds like it could be the breakfast for ex-wayfers too. Whaddup, Bolsh!

Sorry that happened to you, that really sucks. My experiences too was that with the run around the idea of it being my fault was not too far behind. I think the idea is God is perfect, his word just works, so if there is lack it's your fault and you need to ....fill in the blank with select TWI teaching....
