Any of you ever wonder why "moonlighting" or side jobs are so strongly discouraged for way international staff? Answer: Rosalie believes if you have extra time on your hands you should give it in service to the way international. That's right. Tight on money? Volunteer. Need some extra savings? Just give some more. Please, wayfers. Stop taking financial advice from an ex-school teacher who is loaded with family money and used way builders to build her house (which she owns scott free) for pennies on the dollar. And of course she has to draw a fair salary for being an officer of TWI. If you ask her, she is exempt and can give as many hours as she needs to. So you should do the same. I am not saying God will not bless a person as they cheerfully give. But if you have need of money you had best take the extra time and do the smart thing. Work for pay. Exiting soapbox now.

I actually hired someone to take what I did at the the way international and translate it into real world terminology. The result was I wound up having a lot less experience than I thought I had, or was told by the way international I would have. It was quite a shocker. Now, around the farm at the way international the staffers feed on their new found "corporate legitimacy" (which is not legitimate) and fancy themselves the best in the world at whatever they do. I have heard the negative comparison's from the rank and file staffers all the way up to Rosalie herself. Oh they cite the same talking points: attention to detail, reporting back, communication, multi-level redundant approval process, holy spirit filled believers giving off the love of God in everything they touch, etc. Needless to say none of these things are coveted in "the world" the way the wayfers on staff like to imagine. My resume was not finessed, it was professionally done. All the fluff was removed and what was left was lower management at best should I have chosen to follow what I did in TWI as a career. Although, I was in the upper echelon at TWI and at one time thought I was amongst the best leaders in the world....it has been a rough wake up call. Well, I could ramble but I am interested in everyone's perspectives and experiences on this topic. So, here is a fresh pinata, have fun!

the way international is all but dead...

Common trolling techniques to cause a stir. Not sure if John knows it or not, some trolls are unwitting.

Profound!

My good squirrel, her and Donna think that because they move in secret that no one can figure out what they are up to. All one has to do is observe and keep their ears to the ground and you can put the pieces together. Her and Donna are really not that bright and the masses that have exited the way international since her and Donna started ramming policy through Craig's failed presidency bear me witness. Rosie and Donna knew what Craig was doing well before the scandal broke. They used that against him and pushed things through like scheduling and the debt policy, etc. Craig was not into Rosie's brand of micromanagement, though was no less a control freak.

Yep. Nastiest politics I ever did see. Atmosphere of fear. Imagine being scared of a blue hair? I just couldn't stomach it. If she had morals, set a good example, actually demonstrated leadership then yes - I could spare some respect. This is a lady who takes pride in her maiden name of Fox, and likes to brag about people being "out Foxed."
-
But it allows the old bag to shift the blame from her failed policies to a group of incapables. Incapable because she does not let them do anything more than told, or specifically written in a guideline sheet. She is the biggest incapable of them all. But by clipping their ... and removing their spines you have the perfect group of fall guys to prop her decrepit bones.
-
Well that's the problem. Even though Rosalie has surrounded herself with eunuchs, she has also had their spines removed.

If the 15 minute intervals weren't bad enough you had to turn in an actual and explain why the adversary tricked you into not following your original plan, wherever you veered. Oh, and let's not forget the micromanaging of married couples sex lives. Yep, you had to pencil in time for sex. Then your overseer could check up on that too. Sorry if the past is bothersome to the way international - If my past was as sordid as theirs I wouldn't like it either.

I could only guess and my guess is that under connotes supporting someone through early stages of growth. Kind of redundant if my guess is correct. But, really, did way speak ever make much sense? or was it ever not redundant?

I did experience a lot of spiritual boredom in-residence.
-
Oh good lord, I almost had forgotten about the "spiritual emotions" crap from the Adc. Class. What a croc. And leadership used to love to justify their lack of control by making it sound like it was God working in them to be a$$hol3s.

She said that? D@mn. I just lost a whole bunch of respect for her. I liked her matter of fact mannerisms. Haven't listened to her in a while though. Why o' why do these guys have to come up with weirdness that just jacks up the congregation. I mean maybe the seats are uncomfortable. They sure were in the PWA. Maybe a person has seasonable allergies. That was usually the case coming into sinus valley with all it's molds and pollens for the advanced class in the summer. But the simpletons have to make brain child statements like this that do nothing but make people feel guilty for being human.... ok....exiting soapbox now. Nothing new under the sun....nothing to see here.....moving along now....

Trying to operate the law of believing through extreme times damaged me the most.

So asinine I had to makes sure it was here twice. You know, to make sure it's established and all

John is a troll. A good one at that.

Ironic that they hold him in very high esteem for telling the corps at one of their meetings "communicate, communicate, communicate." And then he turned and walked away w/o another word.

This quote here made my day and put me in stitches. Speak on it Chock, speak on it!

His wine is legend, so it was really good? I hear he used concord grapes and wine snobs frown on the concord. I like them personally and used to eat them whenever I found them hanging on the vine around HQ. So, VPW had some good men around him. Average, but hardworking and basically good people. It would then seem that he hyped them to get the keeeds to not only work away on staff, but also to go out and get busy with WOW and way corps. Just trying to piece some of the history together. Is this about the size of things? Again, I can't emphasize enough how much legend surrounds these old timers in today's TWI. I was even told by the directors that I needed to be more like George Jess a few times. More hands on, less office work - even though I was buried in useless paper all the time. Not as though I wasn't hands on either. Anywho. They never really explained much about Jess just that he was a leader who was out front with his people all the time, working away. They made him sound like one of Jesus Apostles. I doubt their account and no doubt he was not up to his neck in corporate responsibilities, reports and such. I get the impression that he was a good hard worker, but beyond that they really did not know the man. But I needed to be like the persona they projected to me. I never took the bait. Same when I was in-rez. I mean they made Vic's peers sound like they were the most incredible people you would ever want to meet. Strong in believing, able to move mountains, able to bring in great abundance to TWI, frequently working miracles and healing the sick. I could go on but enough said. It sort of made you feel like you should aspire to walk in these great one's foot steps, be like them so to speak. It also made the current directors seem rather feeble by comparison. Guess their hype job backfired a little?

troll = In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion I'm just saying if the shoe fits...

I'm sorry to digress. I mean they missed the revelation? I had to miss a witnessing day with local way disciples on Saturday because I sprained my ankle badly playing soccer with my fellowship coordinator's kids the previous evening. I was reproved strongly for missing the revelation because "God would have told me" how to avoid this "attack" before such a spiritually significant event as witnessing with way disciples! I mean look at the learning that was stolen from me. But yet people died and were raped hitch hiking during LEAD? How did I ever become involved with these mental midgets? (rhetorical - please spare me the answers )

Interesting responses. Could be that Vic surrounded himself with some hardworking, descent people. Could be that Vic learned to take advantage of the church early on and corrupted others who had the same proclivity? Sounds fishy. PT Barnum marketing and such.
-
It's interesting that currently the old timers are held up as pillars of the church. Like Vic, Ermal, Harry, George Jess, etc. It's taught into the in-residence way corps that these men led by example, they are almost made to sound like they are pioneers and the in-rez corps are inheriting the silver spoon. I thought this would make an interesting topic since many here knew these men (and others) and likely saw their example.

So did Victor Paul Wierwille ever go hitch hiking cross country? Or just bind that burden on other's shoulders?
