Personally, I would love this topic to have it's own thread.

I cam to the same realization before I left and figured if they abandon me then they never REALLY cared to begin with. Strange my friend and family that I had abandoned for "the ministry" were right there with open arms even after I had mostly deserted them for over a decade.

Ya, when there was a big named Rev. that left and still remained in New Knoxville. I saw him in the store and he didn't see me so I turned and left for another store. I remember feeling afraid he would strike up a conversation with me.

Nope - no reason it should either. The way they treat people who no longer support TWI is simply a reflection on the fruit produced by their corrupt doctrines.

Well, not to mention this person spent her pre-teen and teen years in the way corps program only for her family to graduate and be assigned to HQ. They have no idea what kindness or love is. I am not mad at them either. It's on them, not me.

Say what? Please elaborate.

I live in a dense urban area near a very large college. One of the cabinet's kids attend this college. Well, I was on the corner talking to a neighbor and - Bam - there they were riding their bike down the street. I used to know this kid for several years. They looked at me, did a triple take, and looked as though they had seen a ghost. They kept their eyes riveted on the street in front of them until they were out of sight. Me and the Mrs. (she knew them as well) have been :biglaugh: ever since. Anywho - nothing to report here, except a situation that is so sad you have to laugh it off.

We had some fun looking over Rosalie's testimony in the Ron Peeler evidentiary hearing. I bumped it. It's nothing earth and heaven shattering but it goes far to show how quickly she will lie under oath. It only leads one to surmise that she will lie a lot quicker when she is not under oath.

My advice is leave immediately! Or as soon as you can sever ties with "the ministry" where you can take care of yourself and/or your family.

The very one they used to justify throwing countless people out of their cult and running their name in the mud by labeling them possessed and whatever else they could dream up.

I have long marked and avoided TWI.

The best I can tell is the information was ripped off from various occult books that are displayed on the "junk tables" each year at the advanced class. They practically say as much when they would tell the students to go and view the books because Wierwille had read through all of them to learn about Satan's kingdom. (To paraphrase) Of course we were cautioned to never read the material on our own because God watched out for him while he studied the material. (To paraphrase) The inference was we would not be spiritually mature enough to deal with the books and Wierwille was. My guess is we would see yet again Wierwille's plagiarism in all of it's glory!

That's such a great point. TWI is so fixated on the adversary that they made his kingdom the pinnacle of their teaching series, not God's. They are in awe of the adversary on so many levels.

I don't either. Once again, I believe he had it terribly wrong and seemed to be "awed" by the subject.

I believe there are evil spirits from my time dabbling in the occult before TWI. I think Wierwille ripped off his information for the advanced class from the multitude of books on display at the junk tables each year during the advanced class, though I have no proof and will limit my statement to my opinion. And every time I had the advanced class (3 in total because of in-rex training) we were cautioned to never read the books on the junk tables. Wierwille had already done so and of course God afforded him special protection to not get possessed and he had done all the work for us, so he could teach us what we needed to know.

I dunno, there were some good office secretaries... They usually call themselves Region Coordinators and President's Cabinet.

I dunno Excie, you did cause me to think about it a little. After throwing the prime of my youth into TWI's servitude factory (read Way Corps) I need to sort through the rubble, figure out where my life is headed, untangle the yarn, sort out my beliefs, find my identity apart from the collective, and quite a few other things. GSC is only a small part of the process and I pray that I don't sound too bitter or harsh in my posts. That has never been my intent. I would be lying to say there isn't repressed anger bubbling to the surface from time to time. After all, I completely re-reouted my life and gave up a career and even left the city I love - I dropped everything because I believed a lie. My own fault? I suppose so. Does that excuse the liars? Not even in the slightest. It will take Jesus Christ to lay final judgment between me and the people who have harmed me and attacked my family at a most vulnerable time. I can't say I have forgiven them, nor can I say I am without fault. I have been lectured by several in the more popular offshoots to forgive and forget. (Sort of made me wonder why they were so interested in me "forgiving" TWI - for my own good? or so they could continue unimpeded building on VPW's works? I digress) So, what now? I dunno. More of the same until I run out of steam. This little destructive cult has generated this river of backlash by their own doings. The truth screams against them even if the truth is perhaps tainted by the witnesses personal hurts.

Mine is one sided reflecting my awful one sided experiences. The way international is also extremely one sided. They only pursue their own convoluted interests and are in no way altruistic. As for the good they supposedly do? Appetizing bait does not excuse the hidden hook.
