I would assume DeLisle is still on staff, but I have no idea. They need him to run international outreach, so he is probably still there. Rupp is still a director, though he is also a branch coordinator in Dayton. Rosalie had this sort of thing in mind for the director position, that is, they could be directors and live elsewhere and not be consumed with ministry business the way the officers necessarily are. Last I knew, Platig was a branch coordinator in Florida and working as a debt collector. DeLisle is still a director as well.

Rosalie has been working on separating director responsibilities from officer responsibilities. Really, Wierwille was a$$ backwards for amassing all the responsibility in three positions. Up until Rosalie, director(formerly trustee) and officer responsibility were all handled by Prez. VP. and Sec/Treas. Rosalie explained her intentions to separate the roles several years ago at a cabinet meeting, where she had the region coordinators dialed in. She announced that she would do it a lot sooner than she has, so who knows why she has been going so slow. What she told us was that the officers (Prez, VP, Sec/Treas) would handle the day to day business side of running TWI. The prez. would also have a seat on the BOD and remain a dual role. The board of dummies, on the other hand, would set the heart and direction TWI would take, but let the officers run it. Personally, I think she was getting too old to handle it all herself, though I doubt she has delegated any real authority with the titles. When I was on the cabinet, the VPs and Sec/Treas were figure heads. They had a lot of responsibility, but no real authority w/o checking with Rosalie first. Mittler and her fell out about something, I have no idea what, and was demoted as a result. She even had his office moved to the one in the warehouse, adjacent to the dining room. I understand that Platig had opinions and would voice them to Rosalie and would endeavor to discuss things with her, which is a no no. Rupp was sent down to Dayton to run the branch there, not sure if that was a punishment assignment or not, but I suspect it was. Rosie, Rupp, and De Lisle are all on the BOD. Rosalie is both Prez and Chairman of the Board. Chairman Rosie. :rolleyes:/> Mel Privette is Secretary Treasurer, and Tom Mullins is Vice President. It's all insignificant. Rosalie still calls the shots, with Donna Martindale as her closet adviser. :knuddel:/> Rosie knows nothing of how to delegate and manage effectively. She is the most inefficient, micro-manager I have seen.

And she's only getting slower.

That is a very beautiful thing to say. Thanks.

Two useless tools.

Oh, her birthday. Eeeks...let's all salaam to old bag. Here's my present:

So, in other words, as long as you guys feel good about what you are doing, you are willing to ignore Wierwille's evils and build new work on a corrupt foundation. Have at it.

I've been told from numerous and separate sources, including his own granddaughter. I've also read Losing the Way, and The Cult That Snapped. If two or three witnesses is all that's required biblically, I would say Wierwille is facing a host of witnesses.

I think not. The arguing got old.

Ok, had to spoof Wierwille. GSC is still very relevant, even though the way international has lost relevancy. Before I left the way, I lurked here for several years. The information on this site helped peel layers of denial away, as I kept coming back and reading more. After leaving TWI, I decided to start posting what I had been exposed to from my time in the way corps, coordinating a department, and being on the cabinet for a very short stint. Even though much of what I posted is boring and corporate in nature, (almost as boring as Rosalie) I can only hope the contribution goes to expose the whited sepulcher the way international has become. I think it's up to everyone to contribute if there is something to say. If not, do what you can to stay active and keep GSC going. Wordwolf, I look forward to your posts.

He certainly talked a good game, but lived quite the opposite. Think that would make him a hypocrite, and a failed representative of The Most High. Good words and fair speeches.
-
Great post Kit Sober. On a side note, it's not judging VP Wierwille by exposing him for the fraud he was to those who could potentially land in TWI. His snare still remains, though in a diminished state.
-
Uhh....this argument is extremely flawed because Moses, David, and Paul repented and never repeated their sins - which is why they are given as examples to follow. Wierwille, on the other hand, spent his life trying to conceal his evil ways, and used his "ministry" as a device to fulfill his lusts.
-
You got that right, and not to mention they require using snail mail to contact them: The Way International Information Center P.O. Box 328 New Knoxville OH 45871-0328 U.S.A. How's that for archaic? Reason? Rosalie wants to make sure people are "serious" when they get in touch with them and figures pen, paper, envelope, and stamp makes people work a little harder than just anyone sending an email.
-
Right! It's not an all or nothing proposal. Some practices are fine, somethings that were taught are truth. A hook needs bait, no?
-
To excuse Wierwille's lifestyle and actions for his "good words and fair speeches" is allowing yourself to stay deceived. It's up to you. So either VP was the next best thing to Jesus Christ on earth, except all these many people got together to lie about him, or he really was a lying, plagiarist who used the ministry to seduce young ladies onto his motor coach. And of course taught Craig how to do the same thing. I could continue. Those who claim to represent God are to live at a very high standard. Wierwille did not do this. He was a greedy, drunken, hypocrite who served his own lusts at the expense of others and left a lot of shattered lives in his wake. He will answer for that one day.

Boy, this describes Wierwille and company to a T.

What's so "Fine" About Arts with no "Create"-ivity
OldSkool replied to JavaJane's topic in About The Way
Must be a book about TWI. Seriously, congrats and let me know if you need help with editing. -
I was 23 when I took my first foundational class. For all my street smarts, I was to naive too know anything about absolutes and how many, many of them there are in the way international.
-
Fear may, or may not be sand in the machinery of life. If fear keeps you alive, or fear of consequences keeps someone from doing evil then it's a good thing. If it's used to control and manipulate others it's just plain wrong. That particular quote is too absolute, and therefore is in error.

JJ, I dealt with similar experiences after I was way disciple in group 5. The former team coordinator moved in with me in MY apartment, with MY name on the lease and all utilities. Only he was interim corps and I was his assistant fellowship coordinator and was planning to start my candidate year for the way corps in the coming year. We also worked together where I was his boss. It was pure hell. I could do nothing right. He was all over me from day one. Eventually I started fighting back against his accusations. The biggest difference was he was interim corps and did not have a position of authority, like being a limb coordinator, to manipulate against me. Had that been the case I would likely have been marked and avoided. I have never let anyone treat me like that since, and that was what led to my eventual downfall at HQ with Rosie. I never backed down from her or John Rupp. And in retrospect I am glad I stood my ground and fought for my family. Looking back at all the crap I took after way disciple group 5, I was afraid. I was in fear that I wouldn't cut the mustard to be candidate corps. So, I put up with the little tyrant apprentice corps weenie thinking that it was training and I would be the better for it. Pffft. :confused:/> Once I stopped being afraid of them they lost all power over me. I can say that I was a department coordinator, and on the presidents cabinet and did not fall for all the lying and politicking. I did what I could to treat people fair and with love and respect. What's funny was I found myself a buffer between the veiled viscousness of Rosie/BOD and people in my area. My biggest regret is in doing my job with honesty I became a liar because I had to keep confidential what these people were really like. I quit the lie by quitting the way corps and leaving the way international.

Oh, that was JavaJane. And it's freaking hilarious. I've been in Linder's office when he reading and printing GSC threads so Rosalie could follow along. She monitors things very closely. Mainly they are looking for death threats and such. You know we are a bunch of posses-Os', right? :evildenk:/> Hiya, Catcup!
-
She hates computers with a passion and prides herself on not having one in her office. She does have email, but has someone else keep up on it. I have been in Linder's office before when he was browsing and printing GSC threads. The woman has issues. And ya, hi Rosie. Life is so much better without you and your ilk. Have fun ruling the cornfield and what's left of TWI. Sorry to tell you that you and TWI are not important in the scheme of things.

I've never read it and would like to find a cheap copy. The cheapest I can find ATM is around 30.00. Can you say ripoff?
-
Certainly something I would never have done. I am all for allowing people who didn't know better their privacy, but major players who did know deserve to be outed. My 2 cents anyway.
