  1. That concept is so embedded into the directors thinking that the colatterals (and many other publications, classes) are considered proven ministry research and are above reproach. Thus, the biblical student is still directed to keep researching whats been taught, but not to bring up any errors because 75 years of biblical research is above reproach. Kinda like the accumulated wisdom line john rupp fed me when referring to decisions made by the directors concerning my life....they knew better than me concerning my own life...lol
  2. Well, proper budgeting was taught under martindales reign of terror. Then it was mandated and budgets were submitted to leadership for approval. If the proper amount of abs wasnt there the confrontation and coercion followed.
  3. Not to get too far off track, but yes, things had changed drastically by 2002. Lcm was ousted, rosie still had the fresh smell of lawsuits on her breath, and im sure that the irwc program was in stealth mode organizational disarray. Yelling and the bums rush were no longer in vogue, cabin 12 was no longer lcm's brothel, and very few of us knew the whitewashing efforts already in full swing at the director level. Im pretty sure at the time leadership was scrambling to figure out a curriculim didnt revolve around lcm and his moggiehood. It was obvious to me, and a few of my friends, that the irwc program was in major flux at the time. Heck, rosie even cancelled lead much to my excitement!! Im thankful they played A New Life. It was an excellent class and a bright spot during my time in residence. Sadly, im sure its been replaced by the rather lame class Living Gods Word as a Cult....errrr.... i mean Family....lol
  4. Hopefully this gives some insight. http://m.legacy.com/obituaries/post-tribune/obituary.aspx?n=carolyn-mann-rawlins&pid=86661625&referrer=0&preview=false
  5. The vetsion we took was a recording of a new life corrdinated by Mrs Owens. The vulgarities came in as part of the class coordination by gunnison leadership and her. I think they thought they were destigmatizing the topics. To be clear, the class material itself was excellent.
  6. Im pretty sure i could teach a segment or two. Id call it "Recovering From TWI: What and What Not To Do."
  7. I took the new life class in 2002 in residence. It was dated, but a very good class that was humorous and very educational. Unfortunately, the class was also recorded with some of tbe trustees/trustee spouses emceeing the class. That came complete with them reading lists of vulgarities referencing genetalia, and sex topics in general that were just crude and out of place. Im sure they learned it from vic wierwille. Makes me wonder if vic started doing that stuff to remove boundaries and desensitize students to his perversions. Anywho.
  8. Uhhh.....this is asolutely true. Rosalie truly believes the way to handle issues is to cram classes at people. She used to have us run classes at hq by cabinet area and she would plainly state the reason for keeping the classes cranking at hq was the classes would minister to the needs staff had. Im talking the same classes crammed at fellowships on the field: Foundational, Intermediate, living Gods word as a family were the staples. The staff were basically light weight coerced into volunteering and taking the classes. On top of all the bs busy work with keeping up with staff life .... more classes.
  9. Yes she does. I stalked the kitchens in founders hall on more than one occasion when she was making cookies.
  10. The rampant nepotism amongst the board of dummies never ceases to amaze me. Always has been a good ole boys club....well now its a good ole girls club....anywho.
  11. When Mrs Wierwille really started to lose her faculties she would wander off across grounds in the middle of the night only to be found by safety or others. The last time i saw her she was wslking out behind the EOB where she took a really hard fall. I saw it happen tended to her and radioed for help. Next thing i knew she was in a nursing home. TWI excuse was legally they could not provide medical care. Perhsps thats true, but i doubt they footed any bills either. The WW family handled things from there. I dont know all the behind the scenes details and neither do i want to. I really think that lady was victimized as much as anyone else. Although im sure she lived lavish while she could.
  12. Mrs. Wierwille passed away September of 2005. I helped dig her grave next to vic and was a pallbearer.
  13. The book itself was cobbed together from her diaries and notes from historical. It was very heavily edited by way publications as well. Interesting that the bod are so deluded they never realized how damning her book is to the official storyline. BATS was on my way corps reading list and was required study material from time to time inrez. Just goes to show how mind numbing twi is when the truth is on plain sight but hardly anyone connects the dots.
  14. Who the hell ever heard of a legitimate organization with an even number board of directors?....lol
  15. http://www.theway.org/topic.php?page=news2&lang=en&m=1 Have fun keds.
  16. I never was sent anything when my son was born. Seems someone with some clout liked ya! Its hard to say though, i can only speak for my situation though.
  17. One of the goals of PLAF (THE WONDER CLASS) is maximum money in a minimum amount of time.
  18. Nah...waz poking fun at Dr. Drambuie...lol
  19. Dianetics is a much cooler sounding word though....lol
  20. Interesting topic. The present truth was supposed to be whatever teachings revolved around the yearly theme, at least in my time from 96 to 08. After craig was ousted, rosie further centralized what could be taught right down to the fellowship level. She set the yearly theme based on God knows what inclination. Then the way mag n Sunday service teachers were assigned topics and micromanaged at every turn. Fellowship coordinators were required to attend planning meetings to reteach sts and way mag topics. Thus the present truth became whatever was coming from hq, micromanage down to supposedly self governing home fellowships. They even have a way productions song called the present truth. To quote part of the lyrics: "We focus on the teachings of our leadership, holding them fast instead of letting them slip."
