  1. Paw, thanks for all you do and have done. Gsc helped free me from twi, and being free i seldom post anymore. Over the past decade GSC gave me a voice to expose what I witnessed during my years in twi. I can honestly say I kept no secrets and did all i could to expose twi. So I completely understand you need to do what you need for your own reasons and peace of mind. Whether you continue with GSC or free yourself from the hassle, thank you so very much. Peace!!
  2. Get a vpn and make a new account with a fresh email and user name.
  3. I never saw this one comimg. I worked with McCulloch on several hq events and always liked him. He was easy to work with and seemed to be a good dude. Guess i waz wrong yet again.
  4. Boy, you got that right. I always hated that term, very disrespectful. Then they prop that garbage up using let the city bury its dead from the gospels. Oh and they even justify their divisive ways quoting Jesus that he came to bring a sword. Sick. Twisting scripture to suit their own ends.
  5. He was a director as well. He was on the field then and it was sometime between 2008 and 2014, not sure how long during that time he was on bod.
  6. Wow, looks like twi sent someone to edit it. Most def their dribble, verbage, etc.
  7. Geez i had no idea that STFI was still paying Dan's salary even after he told them God gave him revelation overnight to go start his own group based on his position of continue in faith, which is opposed to what STFI teaches. So glad i never gave a penny to them and refused recruitment by Dan when he came to visit me after i left TWI. I have never regretted not getting involved with them.
  8. Ill probably muster the energy to turn on my laptop and read what John wrote. I usually use my phone and pdf sucks to read on it. Im pretty positive there is no way ill ever read 114 pages of Dans paper. 14 is a little better but still long imo.
  9. And i really appreciate you for your perspective. Its cool for us to have different perspectives on a topic. We are covering so many aspects of salvation that it would behoove us to not derail salvation being lost or not. Ive spent a decade unraveling twi in my own heart that nothing is off limits for me to discuss and enjoy various points of view. I enjoy the process and find myself appreciating others to a greater degree, even if i disagree, or am disagreed with. Cheers!
  10. Really good point. I personally believe there are several descriptive figures used illistating various facets of salvation. At the end of the day those born from above are born of holy spirit, which is a new creation in Christ. Made alive spiritually where we were once born dead in trespasses and sins, we are now alive unto God and able to walk in newness of life. Im paraphrasing and quoting various concepts regarding the new creation of Christ in you, or Christians. (I dont care if vpw misused that phrase and sold snake oil with it.)
  11. I had the same issue with the law of believing, which is crap. Put and keep your faith, believing in God and Jesus Christ, we arent responsible to fulfill God's promises, God is. We receive through trust in God. Let your heart rest in God's goodness. And forget about making people happy, keep your thoughts focused on rhings above. Im on lunch and in a hurry, but please private message me. I have dealt with so very much with my sons health, and have lived through the self loathing that judgement from others brings. Much love!
  12. Though the particular expression born from above is not used by Paul, he handles the concept in depth in Romans through Thessalonians. You did say the expression born again only appears in 1 Peter. Im saying it specifically appears in John 3 as the prophecy of the new birth was unveiled to Israel by Jesus of Nazareth, a prophesy fully realized on the day of Pentecost as holy spirit descended on the apostles as cloven tongues of fire.
  13. Born again, or born from above 1st occurs in John 3.
  14. There are plenty of references you being made alive who were dead in trespasses and sins. Made alive spiritually with freedom to walk in newness of life as we become confirmed to the image of his son who is the firstborn from among the dead.
  15. 1 corinthinans 311-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
  16. So salvation is conditional. My works, or rejection of this special sin cannot be undone. If i continue in salvatiion then im saved. Ok but Romans makes the condition that all ( both Jew and GENTILE) are under sin.
  17. Ok. My initial point here is salvation cannot be lost. If a man sows to the flesh, the old man nature, that man will reap the consequences of his actions - both now and loss of reward at the gathering together. Rejecting God is covered by the blood of Christ. Here we go! Btw Taxidev, thanks for posting here. Im at a point where i am saying Dan is wrong, but Im learning much from the topic. Thanks!
  18. Perhaps addressed is a poor choice of words on my part, my apologies. I should have said concerning the gentiles. Romans speaks very specifically on Jews, and gentiles and concludes all have fallen short due to the sin nature. Not just sins I commit but thesin nature within mankind, Romans 7 for example. Romans 11 is clearly speaking concerning the gentiles, which the church of God is neither jew nor gentile but a new creation where Christ is all and in all. Also check out http://www.believer.com/estore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=64 The author was an understudy of EW Bullinger and I do not agree with them on many points, but that doesnt discount the contributions he made in gaining further insight on Romans, it's a complex book in many ways, especially to our western minds.
  19. I am not a dispensationalist. With that said, getting to whom the scripture is addressed to is vital. Three classifications of people - Jew, Gentile, Church of God. The book of Romans is structured in such a way that both Jew and Gentile are left short of the promises of God and only faith can include anyone into salvation, faith in Jesus as Lord. There are sections of Romans addressed to Jews, sections addressed to Gentiles, and sections addressed to those born again. This basic classification is evident throughout scripture. God's promises to Abraham were made based on faith, not circumsion - works of the flesh. Israel assumed they were righteous by good works. Gentiles assumed their inclusion gave a pedestal to boast against Israel. God explained and concluded that all, both Jew and Gentile, are under sin and short of God's righteousness which is by faith. Dan does not understand, or chooses to ignore the structure of Romans and/or to whom the scripture is addressed.
  20. Well, that's certainly convenient. Because if salvation is lost for the born again believer who rejects God then certainly they lose their holy spirit and no longer have the ability to SIT. Off to the Great White Throne judgement and the second death for this now unsaved, previously saved individual. Dan is unbelievable on this stuff. He pulls the cornerstone of eternal life from his pyramid and expects it to stand. Geez.
