  1. You hit the nail on the head. I was honest enough to make a clean break with the way international in 2008 and I also avoided offshoots, though I was recruited by three of them when I made the mistake of reaching out to see what they were about. They wanted me to goto work for them. Sorry...not in the cards. It's a tough pill to swallow at first when you cut ties and are back to being an average Joe instead of some spiritual heavyweight kicking it in the cornfields of Ohio.....im rolling my eyes as I type. But seriously, once I checked my ego at the door and realized I had always been just like everyone else then life was a lot easier to adjust too, and a lot more enjoyable than it had ever been. I also sorted through the various theological points I learned from the way international and discarded a lot of things that have not stood as scriptural. It's a tough process all in all. However, I can say on the other side of the process I am a stronger Christian than I have ever been and more humble than I have ever been. I am a happy guy these days.
  2. Appareantly so. I thought it was a cobble dtogether, over-wordy mess...and I have a tendancy to be over-wordy...so it's gotta be extra over-wordy for me to pick up on that. https://store.theway.org/store/rise-and-expansion/ Almost $20 for that one. Appearantly they still consider it irefutable research.
  3. No, the internet was only evil when the Allen lawsuit was in full swing and the way international didn't want the truth out in front of your average followers. Since they couldnt stifle the truth they slander GSC as being false accusations, dirtry communication, etc. and use the internet for their purposes to promote all things TWI. Yw!!
  4. It did emerge from use, why the heck you think the way international pulled the book from circulation and spent years editing, and re-editing it. The way international completely depends on the white washed, idolotraus version of VPW more than anyone else. The way international knew it was a contradictory mess and they spent years working it out. You should rejoin yourself to them for real. At least you would be able to get caught up with the latest version of plaf.
  5. ROFLMAO!! And you suppose they understand Koine Greek? It's not spoken today. The absurdity of this statement alone is mind boggling...it's akin to me saying that I want to understand the Latin Vulgate and asked a few Italian people. I used to live in Astoria Queens....it's a Greek neighborhood....I consulted with at least a few Greek people everyday when I lived there...
  6. Yep!! I couldn't be anymore at peace than I am. Mike showed everyone his lack of respect for scripture by changing a section and blaming it on lingo. I fully understand that many people on GSC don't repect the Bible...and I am fine with that because they are honest about it. I completely respect other people's free will choice to believe what they want. That's a God given choice - free will. So perhaps Mike should just be honest, that he is following the example of VPW and changing what he wants to suit his purposes and support his world view where it's God, VPW, and Jesus Christ down at the bottom as a name sake.
  7. If my aunt had nuts she would be my uncle.
  8. Man, get outta here with that mess!
  9. From what I understand the literal according to usage verses were forced on the research department back when there was a legit research department in the 70s/80s. I will email penworks. She was there and can offer a little more insight and correct my recollection if it turns out to be incorrect. In other words Wierwille came up with them and mashed them into the mix after they failed to stand scripturally. Same with the athletes of the spirit concept. .
  10. Short answer is none of the material is theirs besides illustrations, and no brains needed and it doesnt matter what anyone knows because it's all scripted in the first place. Longer answer, with some context. Im gonna go out on a limb here...maybe a bad choice of words...since we might start talking about twig next...anywho...I have a very, very strong suspicion that, except for the teachers' personal illustrations, they are all reading from a teleprompter. There is simply no way that all of those guys are just up there teaching this class from memory. The class itself is just a polished up version of the old PFAL - same white wash process applied by way publications, etc. So they polish up PFAL once again. Then they develop the syllabus, then they pick a group of teachers (notable that one of them is Donna Martindale's sister, another Roger M!ttl3rs son, and another Bill Greens son....3 out of 4 from the preview riding that nepotism coat tail) can pull off some sort of charismatic presentation, at least to some level. And of course try to appeal to young people. That's thier survival mode appearantly - recruiting their kids into leadership. The reason they use a board of teachers is straight from BakerHostetler, their attorneys....if you are a cult, and TWI definately is, then lose the central, charismatic, leadership figure. So they choose various and sundry teachers and keep the real leaders behind the scenes, the directors actually. Even cabinet level people, and I was one, have very very little actual authority and function more administratively than anything. So they are doing their best to appear to the public as not a cult...but behind the scenes are as culty as ever. Probably even more so since they are disingenious in their efforts. Imagine if they actually spent all those years of attorney fees on helping people, or if over the past 22 years they had spent that time and effort actually ministering, yes - serving the needs people really have. But they are more interested in appearing legitimate. Does something truly legitimate need to prove that it is in fact legitimate?
  11. Well, that was lame. I would prefer to get yelled at by Craig --- at least that had some level of excitement to it. It's kinda sad really. The folks running the way international these days really have no vision, no originality, no inspiration, all the can do is look to what used to work and try to emulate it somehow. I bet not a dang one of em at the director level have ever just simply asked the Lord what he needs them to do and how they can reach people. Nope...it's a dead church.
  12. Ironically, he was my first branch coordinator when I lived in NYC, he was in Kew Gardens out in Queens. Took my first foundational class, way of abundance and power in 96 with the first round of Craig's FNC. And here he is talking about his first foundational class...I think Im gonna go take the new PFAL!!! Or go feed my right arm to a pack of ravenous wolves...whichever comes first. All kidding aside. That's Lynd0n $uml!n. Really cool guy. He is one of those people that I would to see break free from TWI. But he probably never will.
  13. I laughed out loud on that one...because its TRUE! Too bad Spin Doctors name is taken. It's Wierwille and the Spin Doctors!
  14. Yea, that's pretty much how any self respecting way corps guy survived HQ>>>stay tf out the way...lol
  15. Now here is the thing that's mind blowing when it comes to VPW and his blantant abuse of donations. It was common knowledge that these guys used to blow through money like it was nothing, yet scripture is clear in condemning this type of abuse. So why in the heck did everyone excuse this behaviour and act like it really didnt matter because Dr WW is...insert BS rationalization here....! God is clearly no respector of persons, we are to be imitators of God (you would have expected Vic to live this way), and yet wierwille demanded his person be greatly respected...the contradiction is glaring. Yet...people still worship this guy. I will say for the record that anyone reading along that thinks all this is some sort of sordid rumor....VPW's own grand daughter told me that the basement of the wierwille home was the hangout for Wierwille, Allen, and others in the club. She told me they used to party down....card games and hard liquor baby. Fitting behaviour for a minister....yeah....NOT! Yet, I'm not rehashing any of this because I wish to condemn Wierwille for his short comings. However, he was supposed to be a leader, the man of God...and whatever other title he gave himself. So the example he left behind still has worshippers...so the truth must be told. Nowhere. ever does God give license for ministers (or anyone) to sin because of what they teach. or anyother BS reason. Yet people who follow TWI either have to accept the BS white washed image of VPW that TWI has manufactured, or accept the fact that he lived a double life. Ive lived both realities...and now Im living the truth because the man was a fraud.
  16. Im sure he's been reassigned, but Chavoustie was the research department coordinator for many years when I was at HQ. Part time job back then....a biblical RESEARCH ministry with a part time, one man band reasarch department...lol
  17. I was about to....but I need a gramatical expert.
  18. Im somehow mostly speechless. My dumba%% neve considered that the ones in the wolf pack club...like Donna Martindale would be making six figures...it makes sense now that you mention it though. HQ is one big insiders club starting with the so called director and trustee household. I don't know what salay Donna M. makes Im just using her as an example here.
  19. Funny thing is dispensations didn't exist as a formal doctrine until John Nelson Darby in the 1800. BTW - the link I am posting is simply a random link. There's a lot of sources out there that documant the history I am referring to. I have no affiliation with then, and nor do I NECESARRILY agree with them...lol Dispensationalism doctrine, or administrations, as we know it didn't exist in the first century. So the 1942 promise falls flat on that note too. Think thats a pretty big flop though...God would teach VPW the word like it hadn't been known since the first century and one of the doctrines God taught Wierwille didn't exist before the 1800s.,,,not the only doctrinal point either...law of believing fits here as well. https://christianobserver.net/the-history-of-dispensationalism/
  20. Mike is most likely a troll account.
  21. I came over here so I wouldnt have to respond to you at all.
  22. Some of the information didn't even exist in the first century. Administrations can be credited to John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Scofield. You simply cannot find dispensationalism in old Church writings, etc. It didnt exist. The prosperity gospel wasn't popularized until E.W. Kenyon and others made it popular. The law of believing didn't become popularized until the 1800s eitther. Im sure there are some gnostic doctrines that had it in basic form since it's an occult practice anyway.
  23. This describes me to the letter. While my walk started with following the father's will for my life as i went through the way corps the father's will was replaced with the board of directors will. One of the first things that discarded from my heart was the word of God takes the place of the absent Christ. Christ was never absent, never, he was still on schedule when he was 3 days and 3 nights in the grave. Once I started to hold Christ as my head, as the head of the body, my walk changed drastically. I've had a lot of problems along the way since leaving TWI, most of them self inflicted from believing doctrinal error that TWI puts out on the regular. Jesus Christ has never left me, not even for a second. I can honestly say that I walk for him and the relationship between me, the father, and the son has never been better. I am growing into it daily. One of the biggest crutches that followers of TWI use is "I would leave but there is nowhere else to go." Wrong! Turn to the father, and look to scripture to understand who Jesus Christ really is and what he truly does as head of the body. TWI has it dead wrong....God has given all things into Jesus Christs's hands. Never been absent, not even for a day. Jesus Christ is a very active, and living Lord. He is the true head of the body of Christ...not the board of directors, or any other group that has delusions of grandeur.
