That it did. It went from being a total white out where the sky was so white you couldnt see to the sky being so snowy it was a total blackout. Not sure which story came first but its certainly true that there are divergent stories of the same account from the same man. That and his wife never mentioned it in her work as choclful and others have pointed out. Personally, if God made it snow so hard that there was no visibility several feet away on a fall day the first person I would tell is my wife. But hey..it is what it is.

Ahh....as Rosalie said in reference to your average followers in the way international: "If they want to speculate then let them speculate." Translation: We wont refute what they come up with but will leave them in the dark to think whatever the wish. Kinda rude, no? The way international has a long standing habit of not refuting much of anything that is in their favor, and when it's out of favor such as the snow job story they don't refute it then. Instead, they dig two holes. One for the unfavorable item they wish to hide and the other for the shovel used to dig the hole. They are experts at whitewashing and concealement.

So, I stand corrected on the field of vision thing based on what you experienced, but how come nobody else noticed? That's the kicker.

Let's put it in perspective. Im posting a video of a snow squall as that's the only thing out there that comes close to what wierwille described. Notice that you can see way more than 75 feet. Also note that there is no record of this snow squall happening on the weather books in Ohio at the time as noted by other posters here on GSC. And for those thinking he saw a vision and that's why it's not recorded: read the mans words. He stated it actually snowed and snowed so heavily that you couldnt see 75 feet away. So, he is saying that God actually made it snow so hard that you couldnt see 75 feet away yet nobody else in Ohio has record of it, reported it, saw it..nothing. Im not doubutng God's ability to pull this off if he so chose, but the story has so many holes in it that it's resembles a fishing net. You will have to click through to youtube to see it.

Not sure, though the story was drilled into the in-residence way corps when I was out at Gunnison. It's probably more relegated to campfire talk at this point. Wierwille: the man, the myth, the false prophet.

Yessir, you read correctly. Went from 285 to 255 and around 3 waist sizes so far. Shooting for 220 ish, but again, if it's lower so be, but we shall see. Ive done a complete lifestyle change after messing around with fad diets and the latest "thing" and above all Im taking the time to educate myself. There are several Drs that explain our food situation and it's not a pretty picture. But for me cutting out added sugars and ultra processed foods did the trick. I lifted wieghts for years and was always a muscled out guy but now am getting old and lost muscle and gained fat. Not a good place to be. Im working my way back into calisthenics and heavy bag work as well, but that is something that Im actually starting this week...you know...typical guy...need to procrastinate for a while and then get it going...lol -
I hear ya there. Ive cut out all ultra processed foods from my diet in the last 10 weeks and have my reduced my meals to one per day. For my dietary needs I actually need extra salt (not iodized, chemically fortified sodium, or table salt) so I use sea salt. Its actually working out quite well as ive slowly lost around 30 pounds so far. Bout another 30 get me back to a healthy weight. However, Im not really worried about the weight so much as I want to conitinue to regain my health and that is going great. Sprinkle a lil kelp for me, and heres to your health!

That clearly is not what scripture is saying with the verse I provided. Im responding to your lengthy post as well, in this one concise post. victor paul wierwille and pflap have become an idol for you, judging from your own undying adulation of both. To the point that you won't allow yourself to believe what is plainly written in scripture. You allow scripture to be defined by wierwille and not Jesus Christ, our Lord. As for me, Im out for now. And I use sea salt...it's the lack of choice forced at a mandatory meal. I don't like kelp. I assume u use kelp out of choice and not from a lack of.

Uhh...you do realize that the way living in love is a blantant unapalogetic propaganda piece written by a young lady who presented a complete fabricated view of victor paul wierwille. I mean it's so bad that the way international have pulled the book and pretend it never existed. It was utter garbage, so much so, that I actually purchased a hard back copy cause, since the directors are embarassed of it then it must hold some good information on wierwille that they would love nothing more than to hide from the light of day.

They were offended at Jesus because he was just a carpenter. He had no worldly credentials to even speak the things he was speaking, even though God authorized him, sent him, etc. So, you are misquoting scripture that you misunderstand. Not trying to be persnickety, but I thought you would want to know since you are into biblical research.

You could revise this a little for accuracy: Some who participated in the abuses they learned from wierwille and became three times the child of hell that wierwille was. All martindale ever did was take what he learned from wierwille to another level, as was expected of him. Not that he's innocent in the matter.

If my comment makes you uncomforatble I really don't know what to say. You talk like you know him, and no, Im not making some crazy way nased insult that you cohort with familiar spirits. You present this nostalgic, romantiscised version of him that you have dreamed up from his public persona, that was vastly different from what has been reported on his private life from multiple people, including his own family members.

It doesnt have to be God inspired. Except in the mouth of two or three witnesses receive not an accusation against a Church leader....there are countless witnesses, first hand victim accounts such as Kristen Skedgell that wierwille used his position as a minister to seduce young, unsuspecting women: married or not. His own granddaughter told me of the card playing drunken revelry that went on in the wierwille home basement. All of the trustees lived lavishly on the abundant sharing...they looted it every chance they got. These arent rumors mike. Its sad people are telling you the truth and you stop your ears because it was VPW.

Then that is further proof that it never was a research department in the first place. It was intended to rubber stamp VPW's "research" and much of said research is blantantly false. Athletes of the spirit for example. The goals you listed verify that it was a rubber stamp department. Thats another problem mike. the way international is not honest and neither was wierwille, they lied the entire time. But yet how many, many, many people did I tell the line "We are a Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship ministry. Except no research and a shell of a research department. Mike wierwille and the way international produced/produce putrid fruit.

No worries, and thanks. I was wrong for being antogonistic and that's why I quit. I know you didn't ask, but my advice, (and I live this too) is remember this is just an internet forum. While, we are all emotionally invested in these topics, it's still an internet forum. When I start getting aggraveted I usually just walk away from the computer for a bit and come back with a fresh perspective. By doing this Ive found out that sometimes the problem is just me. Me being grumpy or whatever. Im not saying this about you by using myself as an example either. We disagree on many subjects but at the end of the day we both love God and are brothers in Christ. So theres that. I have no animosity towards you, or anybody really. Cyas around. Peace.

We refute the class because the class is riddled with contradictions and error and you resort to typical way international bullying tactiics. Allow me to elucidate: The poor ole me crap is tired and old, a card played by VPW till his dying day. The blaming the victims card is tired and old, a card played by VPW till his dying day. The resort to insults when challenged card is tired and old, a card played by VPW till his dying day. The superiority complex card is tired and old, a card played by VPW till his dying day. The attack other's faith as if it's not genuine card is tired and old, a card played by VPW till his dying day. All you wierwille-ites can do when legitametely challenged is turn hostile and then blame the one who raised the issue for wierwille's shortcomings. So you do what all good wafers do, you go on the attack then play the victim card when people stand up to it and then charge everybody with being stupid and hateful. An accusation that leaves three fingers pointing at yourself. I really wasnt even in this conversation and vouched for you being a real human, which people around here doubt because we have had "aggregate accounts" before where the account was used by a group of people, so would be no surprise that it happens again, but that's not you. You are real and sincere in posting here, I get that and realize I was wrong in my suspicions. And what do you do? You turn insulting and mean with me. So, you wanna go, let's go. We both know you lack the reasoning and debate skills to carry on an intelligent, calm, reasonable discussion on the matters. Its doubtful you will concede wierwille is wrong on anything and may well goto your grave convinced of his con game. You can't say you were never told otherwise.

Sorry it doesnt work that way mikey. If you repent of sin you not only ask forgiveness but one is to bring forth fruits meet for repentance and the biggest point being cease from said sin. How did that play out with wierwille? The only things that ceased his trips to the motorcoach to boink his victims (that his wife knew was happening - they all knew) was either hi health, or his death. This whole idea of jumping in and out of the spotlight of fellowship is utterly preposterous and invented by a guy (wierwille) who was so ensconsed in his sins that they were a way of life complete with bible verses wrapped around his actions to provide him his rationailazation to continue to the point that his conscience became seared with a hot iron. My bet is he felt NO remorse for being a sexual predator, drunk, false prophet, etc. And he taught others to do the same. thus propagating the horror show another generation before martindale got busted and became Fox (Rosalie Fox Rivenbark) and Donna's fall guy.
