Ron.. :)--> that's quite a happy looking bunch of buddies! The fire pit is already in place and in fact larger now. My brother made it bigger, nicer and more room. Bigger steaks can fit now. I gotta try to post some pics of this place for ya'll; there is no other way to properly do it justice with just words. Sushi.... lol well you seriously love us, so you can do it. And have a great time even! There's always a swim in the river too! Dove, dig the portable shower.

no backpacking in necessary, it's off the beaten path, on two track roads. There is a gas stove inside where we can make coffee. Percolator coffee, but not terrible. Even an oven if you wanna bake a cake or pie. My brother and I sat and watched a screech owl this evening even! What a treat. Typical of the cabin

LOL I have ONE rodent at my house; ONE! Can't ya'll go three or four days without your computers? I mean.... --> I just came from the cabin. It's so beautiful there! Hanging there with my brother and sister in law tomorrow night. Amazing place. It's the Muskegon River part just south of Houghton Lake Michigan.

Dig it; exactly! Every kid is differant and none deserve to be hurt, I don't care the circumstances. Our oldest daughter came into the world arguing and her dad used to say we probably should swat her butt every morning just to cover for what she was gonna do that day. Our youngest is the total opposite; very quiet and a look can send her into puddles of remorse, much more than the crime warrants. She's not even had a light swat on her bottom in 8 years. The child just doesn't need that. Kids never ever deserve to be hurt. It's the grown ups that have no self control in these situations. Kids get that.

There is an outhouse and plenty of trees for Sushi. No internet connectivity for four days? Can ya stand it? Yeah, David, just cuz we can.

Just grown ups; no taking care of kids for an entire weekend. Cabin sleeps 6 Park your RV, pitch your tent. Relax! Enjoy the company of good friends, great food, wander the woods, fish in the river, watch deer, probably sight an eagle, watch beavers build a dam. :)-->

Kelly leaves at 9:30 am to go camping with grandma and grandpa. She's gone til sunday. WHOA!

Abi, I think we'd find it's unique for each person. For me, it has been a dual thing. I was raised to understand that one must never trust totally, so for me to enter into TWI skeptical was natural and my concerns were well founded. By the time I realized I needed to do something it was 'too late' and I chose to keep vows, which I don't regret for a moment. My job then was to play their game well. Having said that... post twi my trust in people is very scarred and battered. Some of that is from twi, but mostly after as I've given people chance after chance and of course gotten bitten. I think this came from wanting so badly to have a normal post twi life. It wasn't to be and it takes more than I could ever tell you for me to trust. Unfortunately it's cost me alot and that's sad.

ah ok, I was thinking a young boy of like 8 or something.
