Nice to see you too Kathy, sorry you're not feeling well. I have no idea where these things like dill pickle day come from. A radio station I listen to gives whatever day it is as well as the next day, every morning. Stupid stuff like Oatmeal day, buy your co-worker breakfast day, shower in the nude day which was funniest cuz it took many people a long time to get that one. A few calls into station saying 'ummmmm hey'. That's the idea tho; goofy stuff. Someone has alot of time on their hands I guess.

And sadly the WOW program is not the only place where people died because of TWI's tactics. But that's another talk show isn't it? The culpability of TWI is WAY beyond only the legalities. God help them all.

Subject: Teacher Interview Interview! After being interviewed by the school administration, the eager teaching prospect said: "Let me see if I've got this right . . . . . You want me to go into that room with all those kids, and fill their every waking moment with a love for learning. And I'm supposed to instill a sense of pride in their ethnicity, modify their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse and even censor their T-shirt messages and dress habits. You want me to wage a war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, check their backpacks for weapons of mass destruction, and raise their self-esteem. You want me to teach them patriotism, good citizenship, sportsmanship, fair play, how to register to vote, how to balance a checkbook, and how to apply for a job. I am to check their heads for lice, maintain a safe environment, recognize signs of anti-social behavior, make sure all students pass the mandatory state exams, even those who don't come to school regularly or complete any of their assignments. Plus, I am to make sure that all of the students with handicaps get an equal education regardless of the extent of their mental or physical handicap. And I am to communicate regularly with the parents by letter, telephone, newsletter and report card. All of this I am to do with just a piece of chalk, a computer, a few books, a bulletin board, a big smile AND on a starting salary that qualifies my family for food stamps! You want me to do all of this and yet you expect me...... NOT TO PRAY???!

Happy Birthday CW!!! Sure thinking aboutcha :)

My 10 year old daughter and her 10 year old friend have discovered this stuff! I couldn't be happier. Kelly has been learning to sew and is making purses for an uncoming craft show and her friend is knitting and making scarves for same show. They get together on weekends and hang out and do their thing together. What joy to see kids picking up these activities. I'll sell the farm to keep em in these kinds of supplies. :D

Chef, I'll take Marvin after you. I dunno if you are bow or rifle hunting starting November 15. If that's the start day for you, I'll take him after that and he can hang with Kelly for christmas. If before that by a week or so, he could go to the hospital with Kelly for her surgery on the 17th of November. I"ll put a mask over his nose so he won't get sick around all those hospital germs. :blink: Please let me know your schedule and I'll PM my mailing address for his trip here after he's caught the biggest buck.

They can't have lights on their porch or house front to invite children. Officials said they will also be checking on them through the evening to be sure they are home, not inviting kids. IMO every community in America should do this. In our community, several of us print out the list of convicted sex offenders addresses every year and we don't go on those streets. For the places we do go, we are there watching our children at the door, or right there behind them.

Of course I believe it, she's been one of my 10 year old hero's for about 3 years or so. A great example to my child of a strong woman that refused to back down no matter what the cost. Excellent role model for anyone. She'll be missed. Kelly and I have followed her health and life and are saddened by this loss. 92 years old.......dig that!
