Posted by David: I kinda doubt that conclusion. It does not necessarily logically follow based upon the quote from Gray's. The lacteals contain chyle and function to absorb the fats and fat soluable vitamins. It seems more likely that the water would be absorbed elsewhere. David, it seems to me that you may have lost your objectivity because of your preconcieved belief in the efficacy of superoxygenated water. Your conclusions do not logically follow the stated facts. While oxygenated water may at some point be proven to be beneficial, rewriting the science books based upon supposition and speculation will not help your cause.

Jenifer, Welcome to Greasespot. You Posted to Satori Some unsolicited advise. -- Demanding apologies here at GS (or anywhere for that matter) is pretty much a waste of effort. Even if you get a demanded apology (assuming you deserve one) it most likely won't be from the heart. So why bother? May I also suggest that you do not pre-assess people based upon one or two posts- or upon what you may have "heard" about them from others. That goes for both "sweet" folks and the not so sweet. Enjoy !

Steve, I don't know what kinda restaurants you managed, but in mine I want my customers to send back any food that is not cooked properly as in too bloody rare or too well done. And my customers know that I will make it right without spitting on the food. And .... as a customer if I am gonna pay $40 bucks for a something like a steak, I expect it to be cooked the way I ordered it cooked. I have no qualms about politely having my order redone. I doubt that cooks mess with the food as much as you make out. I mean what is their motivation? - it's not their money. Sure, there are rare occurances but it is the exception rather than the rule. You are more likely to get stuff from off the floor than intentionally sabotaged food. Now food on the first date? Whats wrong with raw oysters or spaghetti? Guess Cajuns or Italians never go on first dates. The heck with Mrs Owens and her ettiquette - eat what you want and get it over with. Why put on pretenses? BTW, Cowgirl and I had smoked oysters on our first date !

David Posted: Using these scriptures in an attempt to establish the efficacy of oxygenated water is a complete missaplication of the word of God. You are using them completely out of their context. The concept of witnesses is a good one, but it does not apply here. According to the same logic/usage then we must also accept the existence of UFO's, aliens, or for that matter anything that any two people claim or believe to be true. Who is that naive? David, you and Kit, while probably well meaning, are not "witnesses" to the efficacy of oxygenated water. You simply believe it works. However, in light of the gross errors in the "science" that you have expounded here as to HOW it works, and the complete lack of any kind of valid testing or verifiable data, your beliefs are based upon nothing more than "I tried it and I feel better". Not good enough. Maybe you do actually feel better, but unless there is proper testing in a controlled environment that serves to eliminate any other possibility for why you "feel better" then you don't really know the reason - you are speculating at best - delusional at worse. For example, before you began drinking oxygenated water what was your daily water intake? What kind of water was it? Did your water intake increase, decrease or remain the same? What was your diet before and after oxygenated water. Coffee intake before and after? Alcohol? What medications/vitamins/herbs/etc. were you taking before an after - any changes?. What was your excercise level - before an after? So on an so forth. Without controlled testing , your "feel better" testimony is pretty worthless and any perceived positive benefits from "oxygenated" water could be attributed to a host of other things other than the oxygen in the water.

Eliminate all of the drugies and folks with a previous history of psycological disorders and how many "close encounters" are left? The Alien Abductee Suport Group meets every other Tuesday evening in Austin TX - There should be one in every major city for those that need some support. I hear those anal probes the ailens seem to use can leave deep emotional scars or even cause PTSD.

Posted By David Anderson: And I bet they didn't teach you the above either in the 9th grade, cause it is wrong. Lymph does not "begin" as chyle. Chyle is composed of digested fats picked up by the chyliferous vessels of the small intestine. This chyle combines with fluids collected by lymphatic vessels elsewhere in the body, thus forming the lymph. Chyle is just one component of lymph not the beginning of it. Neither is the lymph "dumped off into the blood stream at the lymph nodes." It is deposited in the bloodstream from the thoracic duct into the subclavian veins. Leukocytes and antibodies produced by lymphocytes - along with a very small amount lymphatic fluid is mostly what enters the bloodstream from the lymph nodes. This is good stuff- not "sewer water". Your understanding of the lymphatic system is quite errant. Who are the eyewitness that have seen the oxygen move from the oxygenated water, through the stomach/intestines/lymphatic system and into the body's cells? - Produce your eywitnesses. - You can't because there are no "eyewitnesses" to this theoretical process of yours. All you have is a shaky theory and some anecdotal evidence.

It may be the common understanding among homemakers and in laundry mats, but certainly not among those with more than average scientific understanding. And certainly not among those claiming or implying vast scientific understanding. Definition: (From Hyperdictionary) 1. [n] the act of whitening something by bleaching it (exposing it to sunlight or using a chemical bleaching agent) 2. [n] the whiteness that results from removing the color from something; "a complete bleach usually requires several applications" 3. [n] an agent that makes things white or colorless 4.. [v] make whiter or lighter; "bleach the laundry" 5. [v] remove color from; "The sun bleached the red shirt" Nowhere is "chlorine bleach" implied in the term bleach. Chlorine bleach is simply one or many "bleaching agents".

Gee Linda, David has no studies whatsoever to back his claims. He derides, belittles and ridicules those who challenge him. He equates (with analogy) his message with the Gospel and himself as Jesus, eg - they didn't beleive Jesus either... Yet you come to his defense and turn on the "naysayers" and call them/us errantly dismissive. I question your objectivity here.

If you actually particitated in these forums except for a "drive by" every now and then, you would know that I have never hidden my true identity. I have published it here on numerous occasions - you are quite presumptive. Do a search - you will find it. What's this logical fallacy called - an appeal to authority? The fact that you "wrote a book" is irrelevant to the topic at hand and to my observation of your "they didn't believe Jesus either" tactic. The fact that many didn't believe Jesus 2000 years ago is completely irrelevant to me not believing your "testimony" here regarding oxygenated water. You are not Jesus and oxygenated water is not the Word of God. Here it is. http://www.css.edu/users/tboone2/asep/Porcari.pdf And BTW - I never said it doesn't work - I said that you have provided nothing other than opinions and anectotal evidence. I highly doubt that it works as you claim. LOL - What an idiotic dissertation. I have absolutoely no infulence here and am not sure if Pawtucket even likes me. So what's with the ad hominem and conspiracy horsecrap? My guess is that you were probably one of the high flying Way Corps bozos - an "abuser" in TWI - considering the way you respond with personal attacks and conjure up silly conspiracy theories when you are questioned and not adoringly believed and obeyed. Take a hike A H.
-
Hey pal - You are the one promoting this horsecrap with NOTHING to back up your so-called "facts". So what are we supposed to do - believe it casue the great David Anderson said it? Did that with a fellow named Wierwille once - turned out he was a thief and a liar. Now you suggest the absurd notion of me doing double blind studies - what a silly (and predictable) conversation/debate tactic. That's the job of the promoter - but instead you state your opinions as "facts" and do a psuedo-science song and dance number and put the "testing" job upon the critics and skeptics. Whatever. Oh wow, another original - the old "they didn't believe Jesus either" ploy. ! Having a bit of an identity crisis David? Messiah Complex ?

All you have to do is buy this little starter kit for $300 ($20 worth of crummy soap powder) - Then sign up all your friends and family to do the same. You will be a millionaire and vacationing in the Bahamas in 6 months. Q: "Why is this soap powder so expensive?" A: "It's uh well .."super concentrated" and "organic" and has nothing to do with the fact that it is marked up 15 times before the end-user gets it. Q: "Why does 1/4 cup of Tide ($7.95 per 60 oz) clean better than 1/4 cup of our super concentrated soap powder ($44.95 per 60 oz)" A: You are just being told that by jealous losers that don't want you to be successful. You aren't a jealous loser are you?" (Hmmm ... Did someone actually try to use the soap powder?)

I would like to believe in the benefits of oxygenated water and other such things. But in regards to oxygenated water, DA's word salads, pseudoscience and ad hominem attacks againt the naysayers have not convinced me. It seems to me that if a normal person's blood oxygen is at 97 percent, then there is only room for a 3 percent increase in blood oxygen levels. This is a negligible increase. My guess is that the feel good effect of oxygenated water is simply a palcebo effect - but there is something to be said for placebo effects though. There seem to be no peer reviewed scientific studies doccumenting the claims made by the oxygenated water folks - this is suspect. The only evidence of any real benefits is anecdotal - also suspect. The only real study that I can find on this was done at the Univ. of Wisconsin. It found no meaureable benefits in regards to heart rate, blood pressure, blood lactate and oxygen consumption. Like so many medical and alternative remedies, this seems like just another batch of snake oil that puts money in the pockets of those marketing it.

Thanks for all the congtrats and well wishes folks. And a special thanks to David, who conspired with Nancy to come up with such fantastic lyrics that so beautifully express both of our hearts towards one another. There is no date set as of yet. There are details to be worked out since Cowgirl is in Canada and I am in the U.S., but most likely we will be married in Ontario. Goey

Maybe you should also ask 'what is heaven'. I am not so sure that the "kingdom of heaven" in Matthew 3:2 and "heaven" in Matthew 3:17 (and other places) are the same thing. It seems to me that before we entertain the "when and where" too much, we may first want figure out the what.

GOEY LASSOS COWGIRL And we're gonna tie the knot! Yep I got her! No date set yet, but it's gonna happen! Yeeee Haaaa !

Gee, I wish I could afford all of this nifty super fast stuff that I don't really need - because, well I just don't really know.

(From http://www.divorcesource.com/NV/ARTICLES/roullard1.html)It ain't as easy as you think .....
-
This topic matters to me because exposing the facade of the Martindale marriage/divorce and the facade of Donnas's and Rosie's relationship may help someone to decide to leave TWI and stop supporting these godless parasites.
-
Pat, search in all the distant counties you want - you will probably find nothing. In Ohio the filing party (plaintiff) must be a resident of the county in which the divorce is filed for at least 90 days immediately preceding the filing. It's a matter of law. According to current records I have seen, LCM still lists his residence as Wierwille Road, New Knoxville - so does Donna. If Donna filed it will be in whatever county she resides in and if LCM filed it will be in whatever county he resides in. IMO so far, this divorce is nothing more than specualtion and hearsay until the "reliable source" can produce some solid evidence. Quoting an unnamed "reliable source" is still hearsay. What evidence does this reliable source have? -- Have they seen the actual divorce papers? - or do they just know somebody who knows somebody that says so?

Wierwille's Wacky Dispensationalism
Goey replied to TheEvan's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
George, No, not huffy at all. Just a bit annoyed and wondering why an agnostic or atheist - bible rejector would bother to show up so often on bible doctrinal threads with derailing comments.
