All I can add is "God Bless Us Everyone"! I used to share this little 10 minute nutritional biochemistry explanation re: Carbs, short and long chain fatty acids, protein, fat, etc...those that followed it lost the weight. Some of my patients thought I was this diet-guru...LOL Should have gone on Oprah, huh? It's just real simple...doing it can be the hard part; cause we in the western world, love our long chain fatty acids, flour, potatoes, rice, cookies (man, do I love cookies), etc. Lets see if I can remember? 1970 I weighed 165, today I weigh 175...my peak was 197 when I worked in the Gulf of Mexico on the oil rigs...man those cooks' can cook! I went to bed @ 1930, woke up at 0200...just call me MR Excitement! Nothing had changed but the calendar. Work is slow and I am enjoyably bored... that's a good thing!
