How about if a friend tapes a CD for you? Stealing? :)--> The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Steve: It's "offense", unless you're British, and no, none taken of either spelling. Old habits die hard, I guess. It might be easier to build VPW as a Mutants & Masterminds character instead of with the Hero System... The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Besides, do you know how expensive superspeed is? There's no way VPW could have enough Character Points to buy his speed up that high and still buy twelve dice worth of Mind Control... ;)--> Even if he decided to forego the Mind Control and just buy us all as Normal-level Followers, it would still take, um two to the 17th... 90 points to buy 100,000 followers, which breaks the normal cap on active points in any given power by 50%. So that's 190 out of his 250 points right there, even if the game master allowed it, and he still has to build his Secret Fortress of Attitude in Ohio out of the remaining sixty points, plus buy up his Professional Skill: Basketball level. And that doesn't even cover boosting his starting Intelligence score to perpetuate the scam. As far as selecting his Disadvantages to pay up the balance, he has more than enough Psychological Limitations, and he can take Public Identity for --10 points, but even the Cult Awareness Network didn't qualify for a good Hunted By. I'd throw in Berserk on a 14- roll for -20 points, Dependence on tobacco and Drambuie for another -10. Nah, VPW doesn't cut it as a Hero System character. :D--> The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Geez, first you set yourself up as The Repository Of All True Knowledge, now you have to play Mommy, too. --> Good Lord, why didn't I go into psychiatry? Most shrinks would cut off a leg to have a case like you. The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Goey: Um, okay, help me out here. If the Bible is just unreliable remnants, why would the Holy Blessed Doctor (praise be unto him) even bother with using them to fill the Holy Orange Testament (praise be unto it)? Surely the words of the Holy Blessed Doctor (praise be unto him) are pure unto themselves and need no support from lesser non-present truth? Someone has put one of Holy Blessed Doctor's (praise be unto him) handwritten manuscripts up on eBay. How much should I pay for the Holy Blessed Grocery List (grapes be upon it)??? IIRC, he claimed the word "desired" in Gen 3:6 ... Genesis 3:6: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. was also the same Aramaic word that meant "to be sexually desired". He joked that instead of an apple, a banana might be closer to the truth... --> Our Limb leader disclaimed the original sin segment of CF&S before he aired it. He said there were some things in the segment that were highly questionable, and based on very thin evidence. How dare he question the Holy Blessed Doctor (praise be unto him)? --> No wonder he refused to go along with LCM's loyalty ultimatum... ;)--> The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Goey: So, if Wierwille's words are the Word of God, then Moses recorded Eve's error correctly, yet John got Jesus wrong in 10:10 of his gospel. ".. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." VPW says "more than abundant", changing a word and adding a word. Yet, the Word of Vic is the Word of God, so burn your bibles immediately. The Holy Blessed Doctor (praise be unto him) will tell you all the verses you need to know. Do not question the Holy Blessed Doctor (praise be unto him). What you would call errors are only holy commandments to master a greater spiritual understanding of the paper contradictions. When you come to a FULL knowledge, you will, of course, realize this. Spiritually. It will still be bull...., five-senses-wise. Or it may just be that Mike's a dumbass, as you claim. Close call. --> The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Datway: Mike is still confusing "right to freedom of speech" with "right to command a willing audience." The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Actually, VPW's quote was in regard to relative pronouns (who, which, what, that, etc.) so technically, this isn't a supporting verse after all. Sorry, I didn't remember that sooner... The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

laleo: Absolutely. Good catch. Like this: "When a creative thought comes to a man, he must write it down." 'Man' is the proper antecedent for 'he'. "When an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places..." 'He' has an ambiguous antecedent. Either the spirit walketh, or the man walketh. I think VPW also thought of himself as Captain America... When Doctor Wierwille teaches up a class, All those who chose to oppose his class must pass! When it comes to the Word, And the duel is due, Then the little orange book comes through, When Doctor Wierwille teaches up a class! The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

All right, Mike, tell you what. I'll show you how it's done. I will answer ONE question from you. No dodging, no evasion, no circular arguments. Make it a good one. The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

The core books (PFAL, RHST) the five collateral books, JCNG, ADAN, and the two Jesus Christ Books (JCOP, JCPS) have been bootlegged into electronic PDF files, even down to the typesetting. Ask around on the more PFAL-friendly ex-Way websites if you really want them. I don't know who produced them, and I don't know anyone who distributes them now, but they are out there. Dizzydog: You're wasting your time. Mike is only interested in the sound of his own voice. The fundamental premise of his argument is circular: VPW said God spoke to him in 1942, therefore all that he wrote was directly from God. Since all the he wrote was directly from God, therefore God actually did speak to him in 1942. No matter how many empty paragraphs he dumps here, no matter how much arrogant pontification he hands down from the altar of VPW, it's all based on that ludicrous tautology. It doesn't matter that the promise was "I will teach you the Word as it has not been known since the first century", Mike's stupidity conveniently overlooks the fact that PFAL didn't exist in the first century. There was no promise for new Scripture, but that also doesn't fit in with Mike's idiotic theory. Like any filibuster, Mike continues to pump out reams of nonsense to wear down the opponents instead of critically examining the merits of the argument. He has admitted that he intentionally dodges any question he doesn't want to answer. It is a well-known fact in symbolic logic that any false statement can be proven if one of its premises is false. His circular axiom is completely subjective, and he keeps trying to bury this falsehood-foundation of sand in post after post of idolatrous self-righteousness. Professing himself to be wise, he is become a fool. The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

I thought it looked more PFAL-Orange. Figured it might make a little more impact if it was his favorite color... Hopelessly optimistic, I know. The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."

Mike: How could anyone be as dense as you? The Overwhelming Majority Here Is Not Interested In ANY More PFAL, Even, And I Want To Make This ABUNDANTLY CLEAR, Even If The Winning Lotto Numbers Are Written In Small Print On Every Page. AND IF THAT CAN'T SINK INTO THAT THICK HEAD OF YOURS, EVEN IF I WERE IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING FURTHER ABOUT PFAL, I WOULDN'T WANT TO HEAR IT FROM SOMEONE WHOSE WALKIE-TALKIE IS PERMANENTLY LOCKED ON "SEND". HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU, BUT THIS "GRAD CITY" ISN'T THE PLACE FOR VPW WORSHIP EITHER, AND YOUR CONTINUOUS SERMONIZING IS IRRITATING FAR MORE PEOPLE THAN IT IS POSSIBLY "REACHING". ..... I've stared at a computer monitor for 8-12 hours a day for the past fifteen years, and I can't shoot a beam of electrons out of my eyes yet. Take a hike, Mike. I'm tired of looking at you and sure as hell don't want to become you. The fool hath said in his heart, "PFAL is the Word of God..."
