The Trinity has met it's match!
Sudo replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Zix, I'm really not wanting to derail this thread but I have a quickie question for you. Your posting about VisualRoute got me to wondering just how one goes about finding site info when all they have is an IP address or DNS. What about different whois? Do you really have to buy a product like VisualRoute to find out physical locations when all you know is the address? sudo -
Socks, Re:"I've heard from a couple people that Larry Panarello has a ministry/church/operation of some kind and advises, tells, not sure of the right word - people to not post here." Like you, I hope that turns out not to be so. I'd be so disappointed to find out that some people can't learn lessons very well. Hey Trefor, I like that! Leave the Greasespot and you become a TWI'er by midnight. Hee-hee! sudo

Ex, Re:"or def you can come back as someone else" Yeah.. that's never happened around here has it? Ask Qami Qazi, I say. ;)--> sudo

Mikey, Tell you what.. put me in for a very large pot of my beef stew. I'll just bring it with me in a cooler. It should feed 15-20 folks I'd think. I make it up in the big pot and we'll eat on it for a week. It's pretty good, too, if I do say so myself. Lots of meat, potatoes, onions and carrots in a thick gravy. Umm..ummm. sudo P.S. Hey Zix.. whaddaya mean you might not be able to make it? You're just not believing, dude!! :D-->
-
Mikey, Alright.. you're heading this thing up so you can delegate if you want. I know first we need to find out who all's going so we can make sure there's cabin space for them but next.. How did ya'll handle meals last year? You want to assign who brings what? Are there grocery stores near by? sudo

Bowtwi, You're on. That's another double bed taken. So right now, It's Verbal and Abigail in one, me by my lonesome in another and you and the princess in the third. That leaves one bed untouched. No. Don't send money. We'll settle up at Tim's Ford. Man, this is great! I'm really looking forward to it! sudo [This message was edited by Sudo on August 18, 2003 at 20:37.]

Ron, So.. You coming?? I've got cabin 11 and so far only 3 sleeping slots out of 8 are taken. It's just me and Abigail and Verbal. Of course some folks might not like sleeping in a double bed with someone they don't know. Glad you mentioned my F-horn. I don't use the other name. I now play the Freedom Horn :)-->. And look Oakspear.. let us know so we can make room for you somewhere. sudo
-
Zix, I look forward to meeting you face to face! I just called and made my reservations, too. I think Abigail and Verbal are going to stay in my cabin as well, which leaves 4 cabins available. If they all fill up, I'm hoping folks will share. These are 4 king size bed cabins after all and the whole purpose of doing this is to get to meet and spend some time with each other, right? sudo

Raf, You didn't want Gone With The Wind but so what.. the HECK with what you want, I always say :D-->. I watch it every year or so along with several other movies we own: Casablanca (great minds, Geo), the original King Kong, Dracula and Frankenstein and two that I'm surprised havn't been mentioned.. 1956's The Ten Commandments and 1959's Ben Hur. Great movies every one that have, IMO, stood the test of time. On the other hand, I never could see the big whoop over Citizen Kane. sudo P.S. Heeeeeyyyyy.... I liked Gladiator. just watched it again a few weeks ago. :(-->

SocketCreep, The pain you described doesn't come from a little over extending of the filling material in the root canal. If the Root canal is inadvertantly (don't you love the way we say things?) overfilled, then it'll hurt whenever you forget and bite on it for a few days to a week or so. But the kind of pain you described? No, that's residual infection that goes wild after the the ends of the tooth are sealed up with filling material and no place for the infection to drain. I treat it a little differently but that's what the antibiotics were for. Don't know what to tell you about the x-rays. I personally take lots of them during a root canal and will tell patients what I think they can expect. Uh.. you should have been able to have gotten hold of the dentist (or whoever was taking call for him) and got some better pain meds and antibiotics phoned in. Sorry you had such a bad experience, SocketCreep. Anything specific you want to ask me perhaps? I'm feeling like I haven't really answered your post or something. sudo

Wasway, Oh.. I wasn't familiar with that extant manuscript. Time for a doctrinal change, I dare say. Anyone up to joining the new Church Of Moses Boulders?? sudo

Wasway, Now the first thing that popped into my head was Moses throwing the tablets on the ground and breaking them but... that's not what you're talking about is it?? There was no rock or boulder involved so I'm still missing sumpin'!! sudo

Mark, Re:"What ever happened to the battle of the bands thread?" 'Ya got me, Mark. I don't remember it but then, I do a lot of posting of tunes here and there. What was it we were doing and what would you like to do?? Post some college Alma Maters and/or fight songs?? Sounds like fun! sudo P.S. I KNOW I have an odd sense of humor but thanks for posting.

The burglar was cruising through one of our posh suburbs looking for a target of opportunity. At one house he saw a truck unloading a big screen television, stereo, and video outfit. All the gear had to cost thousands of dollars. He made a mental note and went on his way. The next day he was back in the same neighborhood. When he drove past the house with all the goodies, he saw an elderly couple loading suitcases into the trunk of their car. He could hardly wait. That night, without a moon in the sky and a heavy fog, he drove up to the house. He rang the doorbell and when no one answered, broke the lock on the kitchen door and went in. It was pitch black inside as he made his way through the kitchen, then the dining room and into the den where he expected to find the things he wanted to steal. "I see you and Jesus sees you," a voice said. The burglar froze in his tracks. "I see you and Jesus sees you," the voice said again. When nothing more happened, the burglar took out his flashlight and shinned it in the direction of the voice. All he saw was a parrot on its perch. "I see you and Jesus sees you." The burglar laughed. "Just a dumb bird," he said. The burglar closed the drapes (so that nobody outside could see what was going on inside) before turning on a lamp and that's when he saw a big and mean looking Doberman Pincher sitting beneath the parrot's perch. "Sic him, Jesus!" the parrot said.
