1. George, That site won't let you link, evidently. Here's one of Catherine Bach.. Personally, JS is better eye candy. And I DID watch the show some, Kathy. In fact... the General Lee and I have had run ins.. . . . . sudo
2. All guessed now it appears... From looking at the bottom where it shows who all's on line, it appears lots of folks have Good Friday off. So I guess we need us an Easter tune, huh? In the past years at this time, I've posted the theme songs to Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments and the like. Nobody ever got them without lots of hints because those Bible movies all had similar sounding themes. So here's one you'll all remember (though you may not recognize the first 32 seconds) but may not know right off what movie its from. Click HERE! I actually watched this movie again not too long ago. It's really not that good a movie, IMO, though it had a few good tunes in it. sudo
3. Kathy, And in the meantime... the following is from a movie 28 years old if you can believe it! 28 years since this came out.. Click on the picture. sudo
4. Mooney, Thanks for the clue! You knew it right off, huh? No wonder.. it was such a chick TV show! Three of them, right?? sudo
5. I've got a new one.. This is a very old movie studio theme. Click on the pic to listen to it. Does it make you think of any one movie in particular? sudo
6. John, Good to see your font around here again. Aren't vacations great? And your wife is doing great? Ah! Sometimes it just feels like all is right with the world, huh? Now let's see some posts! sudo
7. oooohh!! Great tunes! And would know it'd all get posted on a weekend I'm outa' town! Hey guys! Got back from Ole Miss this afternoon. It was the red-blue game and my fraternity's annual Ole Man River party with all you can eat crawfish (until they ran out :( ) and brewski fest. Yep.. Carol and I and son Nathan all had a great time. In line with this thread.. you all can just call me 'wild thang'. sudo
8. Kathy, I don't know the first one but the second included a Mamas and the Papas scion in the cast. Pretty good show! sudo
9. Hiway29, Re:"I don't think there's anyone anywhere who doesn't know that studio by the lion alone." Now you might be surprised. Sure, we've all seen movies that came on that way but.. which studio was it exactly folks may be asking themselves. Let's see how it goes :) sudo
10. Hey Bowtwi! Are you coming down to play with us?? I've gots a few movie company themes I've been posting.. Here's an oldie since this *IS* the Nostalgia thread! Just click on the picture below to hear the theme and name the movie studio!! sudo
11. Ladies, It's always good to know you've got company if you know you're strange. Maybe we could have a strange convention. BTW.. for all us strange ones out there... here's the good MP3... click HERE! sudo
12. Chas, I'm sorry you couldn't get the link to play. I think that's one reason we don't get more folks playing with us.. problems woth their connection or media players or sumpin'. As you can see, we really do have a good time even if it gets slow every now and then. You were correct, though.. Rick had posted the theme to New Line Cinema and *I* and I alone was the one who got it. Everyone feel free to genuflect. Hey George.. talking 'bout popular songs that were a bit odd.. click HERE! for some strange lyrics. Remember it? Great tune but the lyrics?? sudo
13. Rick, One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them. sudo
14. Hey Top! Naw.. it's not Dream Works... but its a major studio. Click HERE! and listen to it again. What did I tell you guys?? That it would drive you crazy because you KNOW you've heard it countless times! Hee-hee! This is fun. sudo
15. Chas, Click HERE! It's the story you've probably read about how prayer didn't help anyone. This goes against your personal experiences though doesn't it? How do you explain it then? That lots of people praying for Uncle Joe didn't help Uncle Joe get well any better than Aunt Betty who had nobody praying for her? How does a believer in prayer 'splain that? And why would God H. Almighty demand that people beseech Him first before he performed deliverance on His people? Why must He be begged to do what He's said He was going to do anyways? Heal the sick and deliver the infirmed? But I digress.. you're asking how folks who used to be in a cult could say that personal experiences are no guarantee for the truth? Hmmmm???? sudo
16. TOP, Go for it!!!!!! sudo P.S. Has anyone noticed the moon out tonight? Its about to set but is an unusual crescent shape.
17. Man!!! Can't believe the oversight!! Happy Birthday Dek!!!!! Now how many IS this one??? Hmmmm???
sudo

18. Hey folks, You'd best lay off that fast food chicken. It's loaded with trans fats and is THE biggest reason folks have heart attacks. I'm telling 'ya, guys.. that stuff will kill you eventually. Now, if you want GREAT fried chicken that is healthy.. try frying it Southern style in peanut oil !!!! Kathy, great story behind that radio station. I actually visited Warner Bros. studio two weeks ago but in their "new" location. I'm going to have to post that on the Open forum. But YES! It was the theme to the Warner Bros. studio movies as of late.. So want one that is a little more challenging?? One that you've heard but maybe can't quite place? Hmmm?? Then this one is for you... click HERE! and enjoy! Hee-hee! sudo
19. Kathy, Friday!! Actually, Thursday is my Friday.. I'm off on Fridays. Three day weekend every week and I love it! I'm thinking George knows the studio and that strange one is scratching. But that pic you posted, Kathy? That's just an early radio station's truck, I think. No?? sudo
20. Mooney, Bump? I used to do the bump. Back about 1976 as I remember. I guess that was your way of saying we need a new one to guess? I'm going to continue something I started a while back but never finished... opening themes of movie studios. Now here's an easy one to start off with. Click HERE! and name the Hollywood studio. sudo
21. Mooney, Hey, Me too! But the sequel was pretty lame. And the second sequel?? Was TERRIBLE!!! And I had been so waiting for it to come out, too. Anybody still not who that was talking?? Well here he is singing.. in another favorite movie of mine...click HERE! sudo
22. :) Click HERE! Who does that sound like?? sudo
23. Mooney, Re:"The young actress became a star because of it." Yeah, but haven't seen much of her lately. Is she still making movies? The composer of that theme song has a definite "style". I can listen to a theme he's done and know if was him. sudo
24. Raf, As you pointed out he obviously had no problems with making fun of all those OTHER religions. I'm wondering if Issac wasn't pressured into leaving... by the cult. Hmmmm... sudo
25. Getting back to what I had been posting.. Yes, all you wiseguys out there.. it was Da' Godfather. One of the best movies ever made, IMO. Here's the full theme (click HERE!) but time to move on, huh? This next one was a favorite of my kids.. and my nieces and nephews when they came over to visit. We'd bought the video (VHS of course) after it came out. Here's the theme song click HERE! and if you need some help.. here's the ending song.. click HERE! Yeah, the little ones used to really groove to the opening thme song. sudo
