Tom, Don't worry.. I won't do much cutting up with Ms. Suda around. I'll be behaving myself. After I leave the ofice today, I'll be off to the store picking up stew ingredients and odds and ends we'll probably need. Ummm.. I haven't made this stew in a while and I'm looking forward to it. Individually as musicians they were average, IMO. But put them all together at that time in history.. and whatever creative forces were at work with them at the time... and they produced the world's greatest popular music heretofor. They have no equal. sudo

Littlehawk, I'm looking forward to the pear juice but I *DO* have an etiquette question. Should the pear juice be drunk from Mason jars? Or from a Wendy's frostie cup? I just don't want to embarrass myself in front of everybody . sudo

Its this coming weekend!! And it looks like its going to be just a few of us showing up this year. I'd like a LOT of folks showing up, of course, but I'm looking forward to it just the same. This will be our son Nathan's last weekend of Summer as he starts back to school the Monday after :( . So it'll be fun in the sun, hanging out by the pool and whatever else we decide to do. Kathy, I understand. This thread is strictly for fun so if we don't feel up to doing it.. we don't. I don't want anyone feeling obligated to post stuff. Then it wouldn't be fun, right? But I have some fun stuff to post. At least to me, anyways, and I'm hoping there are some others here that might agree. I'm *constantly* amazed at personal tastes in music. I do believe I posted a link to this on YouTube a while back. Any of you guys familiar with YouTube videos? They are Flash media and set up so that you can VIEW them online but can't download them. Well.. that's always irked me. If I can view the file online then that means that my computer is downloading it. And I should have the ability to save ANY file.. video or otherwise.. that is sent to my computer. So looking around for hacks and whatnot.. I found that there is an extension for the mozilla Firefox browser that allows for capturing the video files on YouTube and other sites that have muti-media in Flash format. THEN I found a freeware program that would convert those files to MPG or AVI that everyone can read. Therefore, I am able to post the following song that (to me anyways) is so good. Click HERE! for the good stereo version (making sure your speakers have the bass turned up) and for George St.George and others wanting a smaller file.. click HERE! What? Doesn't sound familiar or need a little help? :) It just so happens that I have the video uploaded for you guys, too! If you have a fast broadband connection then click HERE! Kathy, Sorry.. I really didn't mean to be ignoring you its just that I have out of town company this weekend. Yes.. I remember that one well. We used to have a radio station here that played oldies from the late '50's, all of the 60's and early 70's. It didn't last long and I'm guessing its because they played the SAME DANG OLDIES every day!! And there was no reason for that. Got any more?? sudo

I remember hearing that VPW said that there was an effective birth control used in Old Testament days. He could somehow "see this" from the Bible but couldn't figure out just what the method was exactly. I'm not sure where I heard this. Anyone else remember hearing this? sudo

Carl, Its all because the govt. doesn't do enough to help them. We have failed in our failure to educate. What we need are anti-drug programs to teach them that they are really hurting themselves by huffing carpet cleaner and hillbilly heroin. I had never even heard of hillbilly heroin so if I'm in the dark how can we expect the youth to know any differently? What more proof do we need? The govt. needs to institute programs and institute them NOW before another innocent victim succombs to air-freshners. Then again.. there's something to be said for Darwinism. Do we really want these people procreating? sudo
