Ex, They deserve it. Nobody thinks of Rutgers when they think of fine football teams but they have had some great upsets over the years. They even beat Tennessee back in the late 70's or early 80's. They have a great coach who has been able to recruit fine players over the last, like, 4 years and now its paying off. Go Rutgers. Hee-hee! That just seems so strange rolling off the tongue. Did you know that after WWII the Ivy league schools (who Rutgers plays) were the powerhouses in Football? And Army and Navy? I remember when the Army-Navy game was a big deal. Things change. sudo

Greasy, And what would be the odds of the first three people on this thread who took the "test" to have identical scores? Hmmm?? Sounds fishy to me. I disagree with what is supposedly getting measured. Its not just tone but having to remember a musical phrase exactly. Oh, and I went through Ole Miss on a band scholarship. sudo

Hiway29, Thanks for that info on Tommy Bond. He's another one gone from that era and it saddens me. He must have been a good kid actor because I bought into his being a bully 100% as a kid. OK OK.. since you've all been begging.. here's another Superman serial clip to show how they enticed the kids back into the movie theatre the next week. George, You're right.. it HAD to have been those sociology lectures that did it. We finally were able to beat a division-AA school. Hotty Toddy!!! We're playing nearly all TRUE freshmen, though, and the word is that with the great recruiting we've had and commitments we've gotten that we're going to be SEC contenders in a year or two. It hasn't been that way at Ole Miss since *I* was a student there when Archie Manning and team were ranked number one in the country by all polls. Oh well.. things change. Back to the Superman serial.. looks like Jimmy Olsen is recognized as a former Our Gang (The Little Rascals) member? Yeah.. he hadn't changed much had he?
