    Swingers

Waysider, Perry Como? Naw.. you haven't watched nearly enough 40's movies!! Now.. does this sound like Perry Como to you?? sudo
  2. Pretty good cartoon show wasn't it? Click HERE! for one of two theme songs I could find. I don't know which one this one is but its the one I remember most. Listen to the end where they are doing a promo for another ABC TV show. What? Kids watching Beanie and Cecil also like to watch VTBOS?? Evidently so.. *I* did! We had one of those Cecil toys, too. You pulled the string and it said stuff like, "I'm coming Beanie boy!". It was burned in a house fire we had back in '67. It would probably be worth a few bucks today, huh? sudo
  3. The guys here who don't get it?? Must be Mac users.. now.. am I right??? sudo
  4. Ummmm... Super Bowl food. I gotta' tell you guys though that I'm upset that the Super Bowl is on late Sunday afternoon. Who wants to party then? Its a WORK day on Monday. Why in the world couldn't the NFL move that game to Saturday??? Probably "money" has to play in it somehow because there would be no competition from anything else on TV. But the goodies that are served?? Yeah.. I personally love Carol's clam dip. But would LOVE to find a great crab dip. sudo

    Night of the Living Duck

Vegan, I'm sure you will remember this one. Hee-hee! sudo
  6. Ex-16th. Ooooh... that is interesting!!! Maybe someone living in Toledo would be curious enough to just park outside on the street and see who lives there. sudo
  7. Ex, Yes.. if you click send them a message while you are there.. that's sending a PM. sudo

    Eggplant

Shell, Remember to always remove the purple skin.. its very bitter. sudo
  9. I guess you guys know why I'm posting this tune. I remember it as a big hit in about .. 1967?? I loved this song. It was what the 60's were all about. Now we're down to one remaining member. Click HERE! sudo

    weenie roast

Coolchef, Re:"...the weenie roast they have down south sounds like a lot of fun maybe we could plan one here? what do you think?" Naw... I think you guys should make a bigger effort to come down here for the weenie roasts. We'll teach you a thing or two about outdoors cooking. And having fun by Southern waters. sudo
  11. Ala, Re:"... then suddenly, in the middle of a gallery ... i'd get logged off..." Yeah.. isn't THAT infuriating? That's one thing I hate about "upgrades" you sometimes get more problems than what got fixed . sudo P.S. And what's it to you, Tom, that I was hitting the nitrous a little heavy? Huh? You the nitrous police or something?? I can stop it any time I want to. In fact... uh.. what was I talking about again??
  12. George, This might work for a bit. You sure you don't want to learn how to post sounds or movies??? sudo
  13. There seems to be a glitch in this new software so I'm trying to find out how prevalent it is. Some days are worse for me than others. But it is SO INFURIATING!!!!!! How many of you guys are having to log in several times during a session? sudo

    Dog Park Website

Whitedove, How do you handle it when one of the dogs wants to always start a fight with other dogs? Or if a dog in heat inadvertantly shows up? Who takes responsibility? I ask this because our town has just designated one of our parks as a free roam zone. sudo
  15. Godsgirl2, Ah! I've actually done that when there are no images involved. However, images seem to be a problem. Rather than linking to an image on another server, it spells out the whole binary code for the pic.. and its over the posting limit here. Sounds like you sure know your HTML stuff. Do you do it for a living? sudo
  16. Rick, But what if I'd like to post it on Greasespot?? Check your e-mail... I'll send you an example. sudo
  17. Tommy, I have a program I can send you that will do that. E-mail me at dbdbdb@midsouth.rr.com and I'll e-mail it to you. sudo

    Two inches of ice

Likeaneagle, Re:"Sudo, Im on the other side of mountains from you, I hear we are suppose to drop to below 30 this coming week, of course, thats night time temps." That's surprising. Ya'll are usually quite a bit colder than we are. Our middle daughter is in Knoxville (closer to you than to us) visiting UT where she might attend next year and she had packed Winter clothes. Silly her. Thinking it might be cold in January Hee-hee! sudo

    Two inches of ice

Rhino, Carol and I are south of you.. in Memphis. Your cold front is headed this way and while the outside temps have been Spring like this week.. its supposed to be 'lows in the 20's' by tomorrow. Why can't you guys just keep it up there? Why do you have to send it down here to make ALL of us cold?? :P sudo
  20. I'm glad you guys liked that. I know it starts off slow. Ruby Keeler is *NO* singer but it really gets to rocking later complete with Busby Berkeley's choreography. Interestingly to me.. the editing is quite poor in the film. Hiway29 noticed it in the piece I posted where Ginger Rogers flubs her lines. sudo (who wasn't looking at Bo Derek's eyes )
  21. There weren't property or sales taxes 100 years ago??? What did they tax back then? sudo
  22. I get a lot of HTML mail as I'm sure most everyone here does. I use Outlook Express and it displays all of my e-mail just fine. The e-mail can contain JPGs and even animated GIFs. Ya'll know what I'm talking about. Most of them go to the trash can but sometimes they're pretty dang good and I forward them on like I'm supposed to do . Here's the problem I'm having. I can't save some of these good ones in pure HTML format where all the animations and pics are in place. Does anyone use (or know of) a mail client that can do this? sudo
  23. Awww..... here's one for you guys. Why, Sushi even reminds me of the guy. Click HERE! sudo
  24. George, Hmm.. I guess I should know that sort of thing. All I could think about, though, was how much foxier Linda Evans was in The Big Valley than in Dynasty. What happened? Well guys.. here's the finale I've been promising. Now don't everybody go downloading at once but I think some of you will be impressed with the production values of a movie made in 1933. And as I've said.. a movie that inspired a Broadway play and not the other way around. I don't know how many times THAT has happened. You guys can do this one of two ways. You can either just click on the link and see if your connection is fast enough to play it or you can 'right' click on the link, save it, and then watch it after its downloaded. It's large, though... nearly 60 meg. As I said.. this little editing job took me a lot of time and I'm doubting there's enough interest out there to justify it all but what the heck... I love old movies and stuff and hope SOMEONE gets a kick out of it.. click HERE! sudo

    Meatloaf

Coolchef, How big is a ladle? I got a meatloaf pan(s) for Christmas and am anxious to try it out. This thingee is actually a pan within a pan.. the top pan where you place the meatloaf mixture has holes in the bottom of it. It then is placed into a larger pan... where the grease goes (through the holes) while cooking so that the meatloaf doesn't have all that grease in it. sudo
