Greasy, Yes, I read it just fine as well. I'm not buying the brain being 50% faster if you can read it thingee. I'd bet nearly everyone can read it. sudo

LWMc, Re:"You know some of us stuck around as long as we did because we didn't know a lot of that stuff talked about here at GS was going on." LCN told TWI followers that they should stay OFF the Internet as much as possible. Do you think that's the main reason current TWI folks don't find the Greasespot forums on the Internet? And on a personal note.. how did YOU finally find us? You've changed your tune from your first posts here you know. sudo

Hey George! Not only is that first picture Leonard Nimoy but the second one is that lady who was in the first Star Trek TV series. Lt Uhura or something, no? Only she's a lot older in the pic... Do I win anything?? sudo (awfully good at this sort of thing :))

Hiway29 is good.. Yes it was swinging the alphabet but I keep forgetting that Hiway29 uses a Mac and can't see certain files. So here it is in WAV format so he can hear.. Click HERE! Here's pictures of Moe as we remember him and then just a few weeks before he died in 1975. Curly Joe was a *MUCH* better stooge in my book than Joe Besser's "Joe" was. Not so haaaaaaaaard!!! I thought he was a girly boy even back when I was a kid. And he didn't want to get slapped either. Sheesh.. And here's a freebie for Stooge fans that even Hiway29 should be able to hear... HERE! sudo

Ahh! A thread that soothes the savage breast. I've always wondered why it was that people had such different tastes in music. What would be very moving to one person (certain "classical" music for instance) would completely bore someone else. Here's one I found and placed on my server.... American Trilogy by Elvis. I find it a very moving song but then I love America, the South and my Christian heritage. We have some Greasespotters from other countries here and they might not care for this at all. sudo (wondering if Kit Sober is reading this thread :))

Bolshevik, I haven't seen Rosie having sex with ANYONE so it is ALL hearsay, technically, huh? I wouldn't judge Rosie for her sexual preferences if only she hadn't judged others by theirs. From the beginning with VPW but continuing down to all the top leaders, TWI has been two faced about sexual practices. Rosie hasn't condemned the proven abhorrent sexual proclivities of VPW, LCM or any of the other myriad leaders that have been caught in the act. Not that she wouldn't do so in a heartbeat if it would be to her advantage but what are you looking for as to proof? Pictures?? Video? I just want to remind you as to principles like "word to the wise" or "if it walks like a duck" etc... look at the big picture and try to remember the last time when TWI was forthright about any sexual issue. Why Rosie could be the "Woman of God for our day and time" for all we know couldn't she? Hee-hee! Tell you what.. do a search on Rosalie Rivenbark on this forum and just see what pops up. Then, 'ole Bolshevik... use your logical processes and determine for *YOURSELF* what is going on at "international". sudo

Mstar, Yes.. very moving. The audio alone would have been sufficient not too long ago on these forums but everyone wants video these days, no? But don't let me distract from the very moving music. Good taste my man. And I know a little something about the subject since I went through Ole Miss on a band scholarship. sudo (acting like a musical expert)

George, Hey! That last one is Leonard Nimoy!!! sudo (who should win a prize or something now)

Bolshevik, Suda and I went to the Chattanooga aquarium two weeks ago and had a great time. It was mainly a fresh water aquarium which is unusual. But man.. I had never seen these kinds of fish as they had representatives from the fresh water rivers around the world. The fish from the rivers of the Nile, Amazon, Ganges etc.. all around the world. Fish I had never seen before in my life. As well as the other inhabitants of the rivers like turtles and crocodiles. I highly recommend it but your feet *do** tired after hours of viewing. sudo

'Ya see guys?? This is kinda' why I gave this thread up. So little participation. Now at least, I'm not feeling so bad realizing it was not the stuff *I* posted that drove folks off. I still have a slew of old stuff but since its labor intensive to format it, upload it and then link to it... I quit doing it when I would get only 2 to 3 responses. I think things just got stale and that was my fault. We had done the TV theme songs (what we did originally) over and over. So I tried movie theme songs but that wasn't such a big hit. I think folks wanted more video than audio but maybe I'm wrong. Heck.. I don't know WHY everybody went away. For example, click HERE! and see if you recognize the voices. This sort of thing hadn't been going over very well and I'm not sure why. Is it TOO old for folks? I just don't know. And since I didn't have a clue and nobody was giving me any feedback or posting different stuff.. I felt I had to just let the thread go. sudo

You guys have all been mentioning the songs I've already posted here. Click HERE! and HERE! Now go on and click on them.. could be just what Cowgirl is looking for. sudo

Cman, They gotcha'!! Hee-hee! That's OK.. what goes around comes around! sudo

I remember when we had trouble getting the UHF TV channels to come in. Channel 30 was just TERRIBLE! Then we got cable. Someday we'll look back at these router problems and just laugh. sudo

Batcave, Re:"Marriage is in the somewhat near future." Isn't that what we've called "living in sin"? Or "Shacking up"? And you're asking for advice as to how to do it correctly? OK then some advice. Don't do it. It's not in your best interests. sudo

Incredible_knucklehead, Re:"..who can confirm his story? And you need to be able to talk about yourself as well, what your name is, what your involvement was." I'll give you a little benefit of the doubt as you may just be ignorant of good manners. But when a moderator like Greasytech answers your questions you say, "Thank you". You come here demanding to know about the people who answer your questions and furthermore what their involvement was? Obviously you don't have good manners but I'm also thinking you probably aren't too bright either. But like I said.. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt right now. I'll tell you something else, too.. and I want you to understand this so I'll type it real slow... we can ban your butt from this forum so you'd best play nice, dude. sudo

Cowgirl, I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for but I've got many many classical tunes. I don't know if you want them in a large good MP3 or not so I've posted two here in downgaded form. However, if you were going to make a CD from them I have the MP3's for you. The first one (Click HERE!) is of course the famous one we all know. The next one by J.S. Bach is a bit more obscure. As it opens the young man in the 17th century has just been told that the lass he has been yearning for loves him too!! They have just exchanged kisses and he is walking on air. At about the 2:09 minute mark he has to ask her father for her hand in marriage and he is worried. At the 4:00 mark after dissension the father confronts the young man but fear not! All is well At 5:40 he and his bride live happily ever after! Click HERE! sudo (ever the romantic)

Sushi, Re:"I'm just going to have to find someone else to take over your responsibilities as head bunny sacrificer." That won't be necessary as I have some sad news for all the kiddies. There was a terrible accident. No Easter candy this year. :( . I'm sure a replacement will be found by next year, though. sudo

You guys are just encouraging me you know?? :) Three friends from the local congregation were asked, "When you're in your casket, and friends and congregation members are mourning over you, what would you like them to say?" Artie said, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband, a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man." Merle commented, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in peoples lives." Don said, "I'd like them to say, 'Look!... He's moving!'" sudo

Patrick and Sarah, Sounds like another cult to me but hey.. if you're happy... I'm happy. sudo

Onioneater, The moderators must have extra time on their hands. But all's well that ends well, no? sudo

Chas, Down here, live Maine lobster is expensive. Lots of restaurants offer "lobster tails" but they are *always* frozen and that severely affects the consistency. Its mushy. Yech!! But for those who will pay the price we have a few restaurants with lobster tanks. Some of these places will take a big pair of scissors and cut the abdomen area (on the ventral side) so that the tail meat just hangs out. That way, the only thing you have to use the utensils for is cracking the claws. And if I may add my personal preference.. I prefer them broiled.. not boiled.. so I don't get squirted with hot water when cracking the claws! sudo

Cowgirl, You sure are posting some odd topics here of late. I tried to help you out on your "Tropics" thread but you never answered me as to why you were asking for tropics movies. I'm more than happy to help out but I can't help but ask.. WHY do you want cologne names?? sudo

Chas, Your posts make me drool for lobster! I'd love to attend a New England clam bake sometime.. its just so far away from us here! Ummm... lobster, clams, crabs and oysters..... with lots of beer. sudo
