We prefer "Hotel California" out here on the left coast.

The Way International HQ is crawling with devil spirits

Or a mullet. -
The most ludicrous thing you heard, from those "in da know"

Sherman, set the wayback machine to 1974 A local believer comes back from a Musicians in the Word advance and tells us that it was taught that electronic music damages your spine. Never mind that Dorothy (or was it Rhoda) plays an electronic Hammond organ in the BRC. Set the wayback machine to 1979. At Advanced Class 79,VPW says that the prayers of believers caused the hydrogen bubble in the Three Mile Island reactor to shrink and disappear. Unfortunately it was later discovered that there was no hydrogen bubble in the TMI reactor. Then of course there's the infamous "Betamax Decision". Not the Supreme Court one, the one where Joe Coulter tells the believers to buy one. I'm surprised at the resentment that still lingers over this. I'm sure I could come up with a few more, but it's late and I need to get to bed. -
On one of his visits to California, there was a mad dash and search for 2 bottles, not cans, small old-style bottles of 7-Up. Everyone in the A/V department learned the ritual of giving VPW his wireless mike. Don't talk to him, hand him the lapel microphone first, with your left hand, he takes it with his right hand, etc, etc.

And why wasn't he spiritually sharp enough to notice before he started to unload?

Bliss, No better advice that what's been given. Just know there's always suggestions and ears to listen here. Good luck.

Would you know what town? There's 30 of them listed in the phone book for Ohio.

Bishop Spong Tells Religious "Progressives" to Stick It to Conservatives

Yawn. Take it to Doctrine. -
I wished I had a deeply spiritual answer... but I don't. I've often pondered why an all-knowing God would leave us with such a confusing state of our religion, and I don't have an answer. The easy way out is to say that Satan caused all the confusion, but I'm not sure I can buy into that..

UC Berkeley CS major in early 70's. Where are you now?

I see it as a chicken-and-egg thing. Did the arrogance lead to only-game-in-town or did the ultimate belief of only-game-in-town lead to arrogance? Coulda gone either way. But yes, definitely related *and* passed down to us underlings.

Clearly "character" was not a prerequiste to ordination. I wonder what was...

I don't know what to say... First of all, I lost my father not too long ago and all I can say is that the pain will eventually go away. Take care of your brother and the rest of your family. I suspect you're the strong one...

Wouldn't it be nice to admit to yourself that you made a mistake and it's time to get on with what's left of your life.... Wouldn't it be nice to be able to say hi to all those friends you once slammed the door on. Some of them might even say hi back... Wouldn't it be nice to move where you can be near your relatives. You might be surprised to find that they might even welcome you... Wouldn't it be nice to work for a real boss instead of playing "what would Rosy want me to say"

And this is John Linder's archives of GS and Waydale communications...

Does anyone remember some sort of word study that equated rebellion or rebelliousness and witchcraft? That always sounded wrong to me....

You could try downloading the latest Adobe Acrobat reader, but I suspect that won't fix it. My guess is that they sent you protected documents. If so, they will have to fix it and send you new ones.

Anyone remember the term "flipped out grad"? Maybe it was just a Northern California term, but it predated "copouts". Flipped out grads had taken at least PFAL and were not actively standing with a twig. They generally were not accused of being possessed, but were to be handled differently than upstanding twig members. Anyone remember any more details?

That's the real b*tch with moderation, isn't it :)-->

Everyone needs to believe in something, Groucho. I believe I need a beer too.

It won't be long before you'll be getting emails from "Mr. Fletcher". You've opened the door...

Ok, I know this sounds like a scam, but the word I have from someone in the industry is that it's for real. Sign up here: http://www.x-cad.net/ And if they reach 100,000 signups by August 1, everyone gets a free copy of a 3D design software package. The rumor is that the package is Alibre: http://www.alibre.com/ And that it is very nice.

At least you didn't make a spectacle of yourself.

Rev. S*s*n M*ll*r. I'd bet cold hard cash that she *didn't* sleep with VPW.
