You're not gonna be singing Kumbaya , nor working together with them on symposiums--that aint gonna happen either.. I understand your position but the way I see it you're still gonna get nailed and then be at the mercy of the court The Way is an insulated isolated corporation that has only one real doctrinal language ($$$$$). What are their demands? How much do they want? Why dont you negotiate a counter offer and be done with this headache? Everyday that it drags on it costs them more and you more. They probably dont want to deal with (pay for ) this anymore than you do. You might get off lighter now if you negotiate a settlement than if you carry this through to the end and lose which it looks to me like you will... -
:CUSSING: Once again the Weirwillites show their true colors :realmad: Screw the charm-- I lack social graces but if ANYONE ever had the audacity to write that complete pile of maggotsh!t to me they would get one gigantic earful and know in no uncertain terms that they would never ever ever want to be within miles of me, my family or anyone I know, nor dare utter my name ever again :CUSSING: If they thought I was "possessed' before I'd leave them without any doubt and that they damn well better stay the f%#k away from me and my family. F&^K THEM Im generally very low key and relaxed but no one, no one, no one messes with family or ESPECIALLY children. Be done with them and never give that crap from that useless piece of sh!t another thought. Whoever sent it to you, I do know one thing for SURE--it came from a complete and utter waste of a human being..... best of luck with your daughter, I know that at least you will be in MY prayers

No you dont seem to get it. Nobody is going to ask you about or make a determination of what you must believe concerning the nature of Christ or any other doctrinal issue that you OR The Way hold. You base your whole case on a logical phallacy that translating a text is interpretation of scriptural doctrine--which is not even close...Yourself and The Way may view the same text and come up with doctrine that is miles apart (and probably do). You can twist, finagle and obfusticate anyway you like but just because you do not want to accept what you are being offered does not make it any less true. -
Great Stuff--love it! .I still have a disagreement that in and of itself it is "doctrine"- -Interpretation of the text is doctrine... Will everyone who reads it be nontrinitarian? Will they also all believe that the dead are dead until the return? 4 were crucified with Christ? I doubt it... What about water baptism? tithing? divorce? Abortion? Church Polity?, Motorcoaches? hitting children with a wooden spoon? I heavily doubt that everyone who reads the text will hold the exact same belief structure or doctrinal views by a long shot How then can it be considered doctrine if those that purport to 'believe' it can hold opposing views? I'd be amazed if they didn't vary substantially on several points -
Yikes! Its good to see the Germans are still right on the cutting edge of important human technological advancements...and also.....to know that if I ever need heavy equipment to carve a road across the top of my roof ...by gosh ..it can be done!. Thanks Germans! Maybe they should do that at the Superbowl next year instead of just another "wardrobe malfunction". Now That's entertainment!

Im not a lawyer but I would think that there would be some legal boundaries beyond "whatever". Fundamentalist Mormons are not legally free to exercise their belief in plural marriage. David Koresh types are not legally free to have sex with minors because its their belief that it is OK accoerding to their interpretation of scripture. Killing abortion doctors still brings legal consequences no matter what people may believe. Legally boundaries still apply in most cases that I am aware of that adversely effect other people.. If someones beliefs include plagiarism or copyright infringement as a legitimate " gift of the spirit" do they automatically get off the hook? If so, Im going to setup a religion that believes in bank robbery and is constitutionally protected for me to freely exercise -
While trying to get that song I posted up there out of my head, I ran across THIS GUY playing slide guitar with a spoon...It makes me want to find a nice Caribbean Island to kick back on for awhile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PECpA9a_2zQ

Its early---I have heard rumblings all winter that the Sox will make a play for Prince Fielder or Adrian Gonzalez as the big bat at the deadline if Papi gets off to a slow start again...but as always --who knows... also nice to see 'Tek off the bench with two the other day. Im looking forward to seeing the new place in Minnesota--anythings gotta be better than those fly balls lost in the roof and the 'baggie" in the outfield-----well unless it snows! Next if they can only get rid of the catwalks in Tampa I wont be reminded of street whiffleball (if you hit that streetlight over there its a double)everytime they play down there..

My gathering so far---ie the Cliffnotes version: Its nobodies business what I did but their translation work does not belong to them anyway so its not wrong--the spirit told me to do it. Subtext--Yes I plagiarized the work but I will never admit it. I can dance around (obfusticate -h/t to Wordwolf) the legal issue forever and will. I prefer endless loopholes instead of direct truth -

:) Im sure I could head up that way, park on the green line somewhere, and find us a scalper on the corner at The Cask and Flagon where they always hang out one of these days....When we goin? :) ....y'know Im not complainin' but I do miss the 'old days' where you could on the spur of the moment go to the park any time you got an urge and buy good tickets for that days game without wondering if you were jeopardizing this months mortgage payment..or having to corrdinate the whole thing days or weeks in advance. You say when....

Hi Shift I hope that you stick around! Its great to remeber why I left. They (the bible study folks) got in a hit and run accident with a neighbors car if you read the article.. as they had no parking and were creating a public nuisance ...I suppose that you wouldnt mind getting your car destroyed or your driveway blocked as long as whoever did it was at a bible study? You can say whatever you want, but when you start being criminally negligent, bible study or no you are still subject to the same rules and laws as everyone else in your community. Your interpretation of the bible may give you some special exemption to be any kind of a-hole that you want to be, but in the real world there are requirements to at least be civil to your neighbors. You cant run a crackhouse, in many communities you cant run abusiness out of your home and in many other communities you cant have 20 cars show up at your house unless you have made legal arrangements for safe parking. THAT group didn't, was given a chance and refused---the only 'witness' that bible study gave to the community was that they were a bunch of self centered arrogant pr*cks -
Wow Colbert teaches Sunday School? now THAT would be fun! I was fascinated by this crosscultural style afew years back--Paul Pena a blind blues musician who had learned Tuvan Throat singing...as documented in the movie Ghenghis Blues--He passed away in 2005---I met his one time beau last night--who reminded me of his unique style.. I suppose if I ever find myself listening to blues in the far reaches of Mongolia it will sound something like this: <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385">

Hi Rock THIS SITE lists them as different people with different skill sets and different 'gifts' <_< :) It lists Rood as a "False Prophet", while Trimm is a "pathological liar"
