This is Has anyone outside of TWI really ever heard of these people? They all may be household words somewhere--just not in any house that Ive ever been in..

That would be interesting to see, I'll watch out for it. Ive always enjoyed reading the bottle 'To Unite All Mankind! All ONE!" :) I spent a few times in the 70's reading through the entire bottle --It would be interesting to find out more about him... I dont know what it is about soapmakers. For the last few years Ive been buying "Miracle Soap". The founder claims to have gotten direct revelation for the recipe, <_< listed in the ingredients on the side includes "numinous energy" and "unlimited spiritual understanding" I dont know exactly what that is-- but It IS really good soap and also makes for an interesting story

I was poking around on google one day for something or other and that popped up..I dont really know who quantcast is, how they came up with their numbers or their methodology... I figured the ages seemed about right and the incomes and schooling COULD be right although I have no way of absolutely knowing without them explaining it further. It could be a guess on their part based on what the average 52yo White Male/38yo Hispanic woman etc makes a year, then guess at family sizes for each group which they may have done. But how then do the ages seem right unless they were able to glean some sort of information some how... I dont remember ever filling out a questionaire when I joined here. I dont know...Its a great mystery

Ive heard the same people..So concerned waiting for the 'new heaven and earth' that they dont mind dumping whatever toxic crap they may have in the ground or water to deform the next 10 generations A month or so back I thought it was ironic that President Obama opened up off shore drilling...but that it happened to be around only red states (Tex, LA, Miss, AL, The Carolinas, Alaska, VA.) Its no joke now, this is horrible.

Personally -whoever may be cooking up the community moose (and their beliefs) holds high priority in my attitude of respect for that particular moment....but generally Id have to say my ONLY certain belief is that I have absolutely no certain beliefs -things vary too wildly-\ --most of the time i feel as if I am swimming in some gigunda vast ocean--if I happen to arrive at some momentary shore -I dont really analyze things-I am just thankful if I happen to make some connection with the souls that are there --for me thats enough

Thanks Dave He's on my list --he's a real treat! When Im down that way I will definitely look him up, If hes up my way he can certainly sit in my shop all day for as long as he wants and pick away...--Some days I dont know how Id ever do any work at all I couldnt take a clawhammer banjo break a few times a day-- I gotta tell a Jonny Lingo style story that I think you might appreciate. I have a pretty good friend named Marc who is renovating an 1848 Firehouse to make into a music club. He's been working on it for a few years. Its a great place he is doing an awesome job- About 6 months ago he called me and asked me if Id consider doing some glasswork--When I got there It wasnt much work really just design and install some funky mirrors behind the bar to fit in with the rest of the eclectic decor..so in my mind, since its a cool place and I like him, Id figure I'd just do it for him as a friend...no money, no biggie---my treat. While I was working my few days there he came up to me and asked how much I wanted. Me: Stop...Nuthin--this is easy--its on me. Im enjoying being here. Marc: No, really. Me: No seriously, its no big deal.don't worry about it..this is like a vacation.. Marc: name anything Me: (joking) I want to sit right here(I was ina great little booth next to the stage) and see Crooked Still, on my birthday with a full lobster dinner :) Marc--OK (smiling-walking away)...are Maine lobsters OK? (joking-laughing) Me(aint nver gonna happen joking): well I guess that'll be OK--lots of butter though.... etc...back to work.. I forgot all about it.. That was about 5 or 6 months ago.. Well-long story short--damned if he didnt go and do it..He booked Crooked Still and Sarah Jarosz a few days after my birthday and sent me a whole slew of tickets in the mail.. The guy constantly out does me--I gotta figure how to get him back now. If anyone ever finds themselves in Hudson, NY and need someplace good to go, good music, good food, good people check out Marc and Debs place...Helsinki Hudson. Sorry for the long post--I just think my friends are awesome Heres an encore piece that Ive posted before: <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I haven't read this whole thread but I will agree that no one had what I had. Where else can you go where you will work your tail off for years (WOW-twig coordinator etc) and not only not get paid but be required to pay them (ABS)to do it? I'd even get yelled at from time to time because I wasn't paying them enough or 'volunteering' hard enough for them. No one else outside of the hallowed walls of Zion does stuff like that or even dares--Outside they have odd, probably devil inspired stuff like a "conscience" and some other thing called"right and wrong",and a "sense of fair play" that keeps them from doing that Yes indeed, if you really want someone to control your every thought and action, manipulate and use you without you hardly being aware of it there aren't really all that many other places to go. TWI is really top of the line that way. This outside world where people actually pay you fairly for what you do, and are nice to you for no particular reason with no strings attached , and occasionally even have high degrees of honor or integrity may not have any appeal to those who so love to be dictated to and controlled and is not for them-- but I've gotten used to it, I even like it.. :P

Im likin MacDonald myself! 2 walkoffs in a row is enough to get me stirred up His throw to the plate from center was exciting last night...someone had to light the fuse---glad it was him.... ...as far as the stolen bases...Im wondering if having no catcher at all and letting the ball bounce off of the backstop toward second might be more efficient at holding runners--it couldnt be any worse

I didnt go to the FB page but looked at your photo Damn--Im not sure but that could be me with the beard walkin dead center across the lawn. Im tryin , Im trying....

I heard this yesterday which made me think of dmillers first few lines thing a few posts back. Woke up this morning Put on my slippers Walked in the kitchen and died. And oh what a feeling! When my soul Went thru the ceiling And on up into heaven I did ride... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>When I got there they did say John, it happened this way You slipped upon the floor And hit your head And all the angels say Just before you passed away These were the very last words That you said: Please don't bury me Down in that cold cold ground No, I'd druther have "em" cut me up And pass me all around Throw my brain in a hurricane And the blind can have my eyes And the deaf can take both of my ears If they don't mind the size Give my stomach to Milwaukee If they run out of beer Put my socks in a cedar box Just get "em" out of here Venus de Milo can have my arms Look out! I've got your nose Sell my heart to the junkman And give my love to Rose but please don't bury me Down in that cold cold ground No, I'd druther have "em" cut me up And pass me all around Throw my brain in a hurricane And the blind can have my eyes And the deaf can take both of my ears If they don't mind the size Give my feet to the footloose Careless, fancy free Give my knees to the needy Don't pull that stuff on me Hand me down my walking cane It's a sin to tell a lie Send my mouth way down south And kiss my a$$ goodbye but please dont bury me... .......... :) I feel about the same way

I dont pretend to know ANYTHING about eternity, heaven, or paradise but looking back I find it hard to believe that of all the possibilities eternity holds TWI could come up with slicing radishes, picking weeds, cleaning toilets or and other menial job as an analogy for how one could spend eternity. :o I have nothing against any one those things but after 5 minutes or so Ive had my fill and am ready for something else Its one time I agree with Wierwille..If I heard that now-- "I'd never go to church with you!" Who ever would? I just as soon die eternally than do any of that forever----eeeyuk! Why cant we just do what we do now?-after 30 years Im just starting to get adequate. i like what I do --I wouldnt mind be the temple builder forever ---If I had an eternity maybe I could finally get it right some day

It's Patriots Day in Massschusetts--a state holiday -and also the day they always run the Boston Marathon. They start the game at 11, so you can walk down the street a few blocks and see the end of the Boston Marathon after the game... Its a Sox tradition that has been going every year since as long as I can remember..Its usually the only morning game scheduled in MLB all year. Ive been a few times--Its a little odd watching a game right after breakfast but fun

No not really--The conversation was a little longer than that--45 minutes or an hour maybe---but those things were actually said and I did think the guy might really blow a gasket. It was in the timeframe of the loyalty letter (a year or two later I guess). The key to my entire salvation seemed to center around whether or not I would confess that LCM was the Man Of God for our day and time or not--- When I told him I really wasnt interested in kissing anyones ring, just might want to come to a twig-- He lost it--sort of like one of those cartoons where steam comes out of some characters ears and their head gets ready to explode-- He tiraded for a good half hour on all sorts of subjects after that... It got so completely bizarre that I found it humorous and started laughing every once in a while which only kept winding him up more and more He told me things about myself that I had never considered--I also learned a lot about my ancestry that day It was awesome--a macroscosm of my entire way experience wrapped up in one phone call---I wish they'd make THAT into a tape! True Story

Happy Anniversary! someone once told me your supposed to give daffodils on the 10th anniversary--so here ya go.. Its been good, its been fun, Thanks paw-- lets eat some cake

i'll give him a chance to settle in, and get to know him a little but right now he just looks ...skittish...to me out there... I know he is one of those 'potential' guys so you never really know for sure. Lackey gave up 8 runs in 5 innings today and they got swept by the Rays. Like I said its sorta like baseball-- there ARE 9 guys with matching hats---thats pretty close! I spose I can be thankful for that :)
