Toms probably right, although I bet they have 6 layers of quick release clothes on. that get lost in all that wrapping My question isnt how, but why would anyone want to change their clothes 5 times in 30 seconds? I suppose its practical if you are planning a getaway from a crime or something

That was Clarence Williams in Mod Squad, Isaac Hayes sang (if you want to call it that) Shaft Thanks for the link wasway---in their own way those guys are brilliant

Says who? Wierwille and his "research"? You may want to recheck and re think that one

Ill agree Chefs argument was alittle thin since he has already taken on just about every religion. I thought the best cult episode that they had was the one when they became David Blaintologists which definitely had TWI parallels.

O heck yea, For all the Bs in TWI making fun of people who have all the answers, I slowly became one of those people. It's a horrible burden to carry around to know everything and have to know everything. I still have my moments where i think I know more than I actually do, or am convinced that i am right, but those are slowly fading away. After leaving TWI, did you find that things weren't as monocromatic - black and white - as you thought? Definitely, It was sort of scary at first to see the the colors go on having lived in a black and white world for so long, but over the course of time , and not alittle difficulty later I was able to adjust Did you begin to question the basis of your theology, including your judgement of others? I knew they were wrong or the whole thing wouldnt have caved in, it just took along time for it to develop for me mentally because I was pretty well indoctrinated and hesitant on which way to go. If so, how long did it take for you to admit that maybe your beliefs/thinking could/should/did evolve in any way? Not that long to admit it but i wasnt sure which direction to go for along time. There was no greasespot in those day, most of my "friends' were still in or had also just recently left way world so their was a stringency and an accepted form of how far you could reach outside that was also a hindrance to growing and changing. It wasnt until i started making friends outside, with people from all sorts of backgrounds that i could get a good grip on things and start in earnest to move forward and adapt the way i viewed things And, if so, at what point did you realize you had started to decompress or distance yourself from your TWI expereince? Eventually i started to develop other relationships and friendships with people that were outside of TWI and knew nothing about it. We kept religious contexts to a bare minimum unless something came up. I met some really interesting and good people who had very different ways of viewing and doing things than I did. many of them were obviously more right about things than i was.. I think turning the corner was when I started to listen ... and see the world and people around me without the TWI filtering glasses on....

I think Hee Seop is going to go to Triple A, and be kept in reserve in Pawtucket. Im looking for Kevin Youkilis to have a breakout year at first (or third), He has always been a good hitter but never really gotten the playing time--He'll be sharing first with JT Snow. It odd having an (almost) all new team, the 2004's being almost all gone already. Ive beat it to death But I still cant get used to it. I'd like to see Nomar have agreat year too--its been tough for him the last several years, but when he is on there is no one more exciting to watch day after day. I heard a great quote from one of the Sox the other day about Bill Mueller, 'Billy Ballgame' which rang true "He was always in the spotlight and you never saw him"... I wish I had some sort of cable where I could watch the LA Red Sox this year

Is that a HarpGuitar? I saw Michael Hedges play one something like that in the late 80's and again in the early 90's He certainly got an interesting spectrum of sound and a very broad range out of his... Im lacking in the number of workable fingers to deal with something like that myself

Yea it is ---- I mean.... or so Ive heard, um... Im sure Ive read it somewhere.. dang love the brownies

$600/Oz. ? Must be some serious serious stuff that would explain the goings on in DC When I look at the moves those pols make --I have always had my suspicions that they must be smokin somethin' really good
-
This should be interesting-- How long until someone starts to 'add a word, change a word, screwup a word, void a concept, jump through hoops doing backward somersaults, and negate and change the whole thing' to back their theology? I am bettin' it wont be long...

Welcome back Goey---Good to see you again

I was wondering that, I recently bought alittle digital recorder at Radio Shack that is smaller than a cell phone for about $80. You can hold it in the palm of your hand , turn it on with a tiny movement, and it records about umpteen billion hours.....I didnt mention it because I dont know the laws on that---but I sure would
-
Well thats an interesting take--im still not sure if i buy it though. It also said: I remeber all your remarks last year about Soriano's play at 2nd, 35 HR's or not -you have to question his overall value to a team with his type of defensive record at 2nd...I would think (of course Im not the guy ponying up the millions that he is looking for..) that if he proved himself as an adequate outfielder as well as a mediocre 2nd baseman with his bat it would make him yet more valuable--but what do i know. i remember when the trade was made the Nationals immediately announced that he was going to the OF--Im surprised that they didnt address it and deal with it until the day he showed up--seems sort of shortsighted..... Over (up?)my way Im sort of wondering about this kid we got from the Reds, Wily Mo Pena. who supposedly has the power of Ortiz and Manny combined but no plate discipline....Being all three Dominicans Im hoping that Ortiz and Manny will help him to mature . He could be great, but I have seen too many kids "with unlimited potential" disappear before. On paper it looks like it could be good for both teams. Although I didn't like to see Bronson Arroyo go, He's a a good kid, a good ballplayer, and genuinely loved it here.

The same thing happened to me-It took me along long time after I left TWI to be able to even read clearly without bouncing all over the place into tangents of greek words , crossreferencing, hearing someones interpretation in my mind etc etc blah blah blah-- I eventually set everything down for a good long time, which for me was the best thing I could have done-It stilled my mind somewhat from all the TWI noise pollution. From time to time when I want to I can finally pick up my old TWI Bibles without it being an exercise in monkey brain but it took a long time. That all being said--If I were you I might opt for something different than you are used to, to help keep the train on track Since you are going to Mass, Mark's suggestions might be appropriate

I did Tai Chi for a while but my power numbers never went up but I haven't had an official at bat in about 30 years so that might have something to do with it to. (Thank You Bronson Arroyo-Hello Wily Mo Pena) -

I have been in churches where people stand when the bible (The Word Of God)is read,( I am pretty sure it is an Episcopalian tradition--maybe others as well), but no others that I can recall expect you to stand when the head honcho shows up. The cheering, clapping and whistling in Way meetings I used to encounter is from the realm of the absolute bizzarre to me now , although it is indicative of what they really worship and idolize ( men)
