I cant find it all either But -HERES the first minute or so... Id like to hear a review from your bro of the show..He's circling around me next week with 3 shows that are all about an hour and a half away...I love Dylan but you never know what you're going to get live--sometimes its incredible --- sometimes ...well... not so much. Ive seen both--He's worth traveling around the world for when he is on---if its a mumbling behind screaming out of tune guitars show--ughh-- Hope its a good one

A friend is visiting me from Basil Switzerland and just gave me as a gift a 32 tool Swiss Army Knife Not quite the 85 tool but still very impressive and built like you would expect something Swiss to be built--with exacting precision--these blades and saws are sharp!

I'll figure it out some time next week--yesterday was one of those srange days when a lot of unplanned cool things fell into my lap seemingly out of the blue...one after the other--I wish that would happen everyday, but once in awhile is still good!! I know when I came to the fork in the road I took it--but you can also observe a lot just by watching. ...cool things happen sometimes...soon as I saw him I was thinking of you Hiway and all the posts you've had here. I'll figure it out and get the pics up for you, I'll pair em up in threes

Cool---thats the feeling that I love, there is something about winning the WS that makes your step alittle lighter, your smile a little broader and your good cheer a little more authentic. I had my own little unexpected cool thing happen today..I know Hiway will appreciate---I was traveling between Delaware and DC and as usually happens I just had to stop to let nature take its course--so I hopped into the first rest area and hot footed it in to the mens room. I was enjoying the relief at the urinal when this little fella stood next to me at the next one..I KNOW its the unwritten rule that you never look at the guy next to you, and I usually I never do--- but for some reaason I took a peek out of the corner of my eye and dam if it wasnt Yogi Berra hisownself!! I know you cant talk in that situation, even though my mind was reeling-- so I went and washed my hands for a a little bit of time waiting for him until he came to the sink next to me then I struck up a short conversation...which was pure Yogi . I suppose if you have to meet Yogi once in this life thats the perfect way --at least it was for me---no tickets--no events--just in the most down to earth common everyday way---just like Yogi is.... We later took a few pictures(OUTSIDE!)if I can figure out how to get them off my phone I'll post them when I get back home...

Daily I am challenged trying to figure out my own job here--honestly that is plenty difficult enough and a lot of the time I cant even get that right--- Im not going to presume to know the Almighty's except that it is way way bigger than I will ever be able to comprehend...

I had a pair of those roller skates with the key to make them fit about 50 ago years or so.. O C'mon --if nothing else you have to like the Josh Hamilton story. I was very moved by his humility when he was named as ALCS MVP...I know that everyone who ever wins always thanks 'God' but when it is a former crackhead who just a few years ago was eating out of dumpsters it has a very genuine authenticity to it. I know his is only one story in the backdrop-- but also every player, on both teams has each traveled a long and unique road to get to this point of making their childhood dreams come true...never mind what it will do for fans... Dude--Its the World Series! whats not to like?

Thankfully I was long gone when all that happened.. It sounds like they successfully planned God right out as well as "the adversary" How did they fit any life in there at all? ---10:03 Am-Get inspired to write letter to long lost friend that I havent thought of in 27 years....including when Im filling out my schedule. 4:37 talk to person in coffee shop, discover we have alot in common and talk for two hours over dinner.... It would never have worked for me at all My daily schedule looks something like this--1.)Probably Wakeup sometime, 2.) do stuff that happens.

I think that is pretty much what I'll do although I have to admit that my heart is a little more toward the Rangers because of the years of talking about them on this thread. I know that there is good folks in both cities that have been waiting nearly forever for this moment. They're a great team, and probably the only team in sports that would consider a loss in the ALCS as a failed season-- Im actually more enthused about the Rangers though. I grew to like them a lot when Tom Strange who started this thread hung in there as a faithful fan with undying hope for years and years and years on this thread. I know what its like to wait seemingly forever and the top of the world feeling that comes when 'it' finally happens. Nothing against the Yankees, but the Rangers (and the Giants too) earned it. They have a good team and a truckload of the intangibles that make it happen. I hope Tom is somewhere savoring every second of this and sitting on top of the world...--as well as every Ranger and Giants fan.

Although not directly related to this thread I read THIS ARTICLE in todays NYTimes that may be of interest to some of you regarding the exhibition "Three Faiths:Judaism, Christianity, Islam" at the New York Public Library the photos of the the texts are exquisite, I know that it may be along shot but if any of you find yourself in NYC before February 27th -it looks like it is definitely worth seeing to me

Glad you liked it..Ive always liked Renbourn although I have to admit that he floats in and out of my sphere alot over the last 30 or so years... The first song up there "Southwind"---someone please play a nice version of that at my funeral someday as Im being lowered into the ground..Im serious.... :)
