I dont know if any crack my all time top 4, (Cheesequake NJ, Meddybemps ME, Eek AK, Bugscuffle TN), though Poetry Tulip comes close, They are the types of places Id drive way out of my way just to mail postcards from--- Got any good towns where your from?

O No! How much money do we have to send to Pat to keep us safe? Major cities? which ones? at CES they can tell whose nose the spider is crawling out of, he should buy their book Did he also predict that there will be snow in the Northeast? Baseball in the spring? A high profile celebrity who will meet disgrace? A politician who will be investigated for fraud? A new war between two countries? that he will be put on psychiatric medication and taken off the air?

Wow Its good to hear that MLB still has a $1.00 ticket somewhere! If I can find a cheap flight I can fly across the country, take in a game at the BOB and fly home cheaper than I can get in a game at my own ballpark! Orlando Sentinel I just finished a really good (great) Orlando Sentinel article on Jeff Reardon that was sent to me that I'll pass on--- a year or so after his arrest for robbery. Goes in depth to examine the hell he's been living in since his son died. It's sad stuff but worth the read remind me once in awhile not to complain

Letter from John Lynn
mstar1 replied to Jeff USAF RET's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
well Ive been gone and just ( gag!!!!) read the letter, What a huge waste of my time, that guy after all these years still loves nothing more than to blather on and on and on and hear the sound of his own ..wonderful... voice even when it is contrary to all reality around him...What a cage of snakes. Look John--We dont need a close in look, anyone -and I mean anyone, anywhere can tell from ten lightyears away that you have a mini little sub cult built around a handful of self promoting narcisists, that dont even have the know how to start their own cult but ride on the coattails of a slightly larger buffoon that came before them.. Do you think anyone is going to respect a man who sacrifices his own wife to wolves, andthen proclaims himself some sort of " minister ? Maybe the PT Barnum in you will get someone somewhere to believe in your charlatanism - not me Dont you think after playing this stupid game for over 30 years its time to come down off of your throne? I will answer you if you have the courage and integrity to come here to this public forum and not hide behind your phony three dollar bill image. -
6 Bucks? Wow! Its costing me more than that at 'pass the hat' high school games these days Its actually not that bad, I probably mentioned about a ton of pages ago, that I live almost exactly the same distance from Fenway and Yankee Stadium on the Mass/NY border-- Its not that bad there, you can still get reasonably priced tickets ( sometimes even at face value..) and get into to almost any game, as much as I have an in born affinity against the place Ive been down there or a few games the last few years--Its definitely not $30.00 but its not $200.00 either....I also know a few NewYorkers who will set me up from time to time--unfortunately Ive lost most of my Boston contacts Interesting thing happened this morning--I went to a church near me, and they had a little monument out front. It was one of those "ON THIS SITE" things--- so i stopped to read it. When the church was being built in 1791, there was several windows that were broken during the construction, so the town (Pittsfield, Mass.) issued a law prohibiting the playing of "wicket, cricket, base ball, bat ball, foot ball, cat, fives or any other game or games played with a ball" closer than 80 yards from the building. It was the first written mention of " base ball" apparently anywhere. It felt sort of cool to be there, where a game was being played 215 years ago..I swear I could almost see 'em....

You're in a great position there, In someways ( bear with me on this one) I wish the Sox hadnt won the series ( blasphemy!), Not only do the Sox have the highest ticket prices in the majors, but I have a better chance at landing a seat on the next moon shuttle than a ticket at face value from the box office--that leaves the scalpers--and since the hype of "Red Sox Nation" has grown to fever pitch-here and around the country-the demand is such that for decent seats, parking and all the hoohah--you can shell out 4 or 5 hundred bucks for a game if you bring a date and an easy 200 going it alone....Which is good for commerce I 'spose but misses the entire point of baseball....the days in Boston where you could just drop what you were doing and think "Lets go to the game tonight..." aren't there unless you are willing to take quite a little sting-- Its actually easier for me to go to the Bronx, Baltimore or even Toronto, if I want to see the Sox--which somehow just isnt right. I built my love of the Sox by having a paper route and being a short train ride from Fenway as a kid where I could get in for $1.00 and enjoy a summer day and baseball. The RedSox marketing frenzy has taken that great aspect of the game far away and it will probably never return ( unless they go 54-108 some year), which, although it is fun to watch them win, takes a huge part of the game, the spontaniety, away from the common fan as well. Every game is on TV which is Ok, but its not the ballpark experience-that especially you hiway know during these years anyway much better than me. I dont know what can be done, if anything, because the commerce of the professional game has grown so huge---I go once in awhile-and do enjoy myself--but even though I do love it I get conflicted whether or not to support the escalating inaccessibilty ---The game is the same -but the business of the game is out of control.. Like Hiway it doesnt really matter all that much where I am -These days I get as many kicks (maybe more) watching a little league or High School game-when Im old maybe the sox will suck again and I can spend my elder years being one oif the curmudgeons i saw as a child roosting around the ballpark

Interesting point... good pickup How does that work CK? Is Jesus Christ not important enough to make the trust list, or even though to some Christians He may be on the list, you just do not trust him? Was he replaced in stature and importance by the Lord Apostle Wierwille? Im curious where a true believer like yourself is supposed to place him on the trust meter, so far -- not at all. So Im going by that for now, as the one true way of CK via the apostle lord Is that right? and yes Mark I do find it interesting on a lot of levels-It is very Wierwillian. " It fits ..... .. o no... help...I cant stop.....like a hand in a glove...."

CES is in a Mess...

That should be etched in stone above any way or way offshoot building. amongst all their classes, noise, sounding gongs and banging cymbals-That is the one lesson that they have surely taught us by example very well ---over and over and over. (maybe one of the Johns could write a book about that... ) On another note--does anyone know where the John Lynn thread is? The one where he did a few drive by posts, got upset that we wouldnt genuflect to him, then stormed out telling us all to 'get a life' after a very few posts? If someone can find it, I'd be interesting in rereading it, as it was in the general timeframe of these letters/prophecies. I dont remember much except the haughty attitude that oozed from the posts, and the denial of reality that was going on then.....any way thanks if you can find it -
Good Questions Cool and ones that I was also thinking and again not to be combative---- but if you indeed have your own personal Jesus and direct personal connection to God (which all those classes claim), why then would you need other people to read, interpret and explain things for you over and over? Isnt that the holy spirits job? ---(the guide into all truth) just curious

He's been trying to change things for the better for 30 years or better, and it repeatedly doesnt work. Its time to quit hawking his books and head knowledge that goes nowhere, step down from being a (cough gag )..minister, (or whatever type of poobah title he has), honestly assess the gigantic holes and wake of destruction in his work and realize that if he really wants to 'serve God' or 'the body of Christ' it would be better to get out of the business and do something else, Do something beneficial for once-go rake leaves at your local church--anything---but its time for all of them to step off the pulpit and down off their golden throne of self importance. -
Prophecy and dreams

This from their literature: No ego involved there, no sirree , never mind they had sketchy christian backgrounds, had jumped out of a severely disfunctional organization, took no time to regroup or rethink what they were doing but then they could also miraculously pass 2000 years of history and move directly to the top because of their own amazing direct pipeline to God that was better than anyone elses in all history I have a hard time believing that anyone could be that entangled. emersed (and deceived)in how great they themselves are.. At least most medicine show salemen knew they were really selling a scam and it was just a show, these people actually seemed to be deluded by the hype that they wrote about themselves.... Can you say "Pride comes before the fall? -

From Groucho: From Tom: which all seems to me to be the antithesis of the christianity that I read about, and have experienced in local churches around the country. It ook a long time for me to undo that mess that was pummelled into my head in wayworld worth repeating -

What would be the matter with getting some Christain education somewhere, leaving all the splashy hocus pocus behind, shutting down, and moving on ? What is the appeal of these self ordained groups, with no roots at all, (other than cultic) that claim to speak for God and always end up in hot water. I dont see it. They have no established or successful roots but a short history that has always turned out bad. I would hope after being around the same block (twice!!), that they may finally wake up, smell the coffee, take an honest look ( I wont be holding my breath on that one) and shut it down, then do their personal searching elsewhere realizing that they have spent the greater parts of their lives plowing a road to nowhere. In John's words to us--Its time to come down off their throne and "get a life" -

Interesting question and worth repeating. I only read part of the (bleckkk!!) "prophecies" and papers and they seemed very concerned with 'protecting the ministry'as a prime motive, even willing to sacrifice their own to do it... Gee--where have i heard that before?? Like father like son. From the beginning building a ministry and retaining their personal celebrity was way out in front for them. How much time did they take off to consider and change their longtime error in TWI before they pronounced themselves leaders again and started up as CES ? A few months? /rolleyes Yeah OK-rrrigghttttt Whatever people do in their own personal lives for spiritual growth is fine with me, but imo once they take upon themselves the mantle of 'Leadership", to me they have already erred, desiring to be something that they are not. 'they love to have the chief seats in the synagogue" etc. and be the top dogs. To me that screams 'stay away" and is bound for whole huge heaps of trouble. IMO it was part of the carryover from TWI where celebrity and personal power, with a very thin veneer of spirituality were more sought after than anything actually spiiritual in nature, and 'protecting the ministry', building the institution and the personal power and egos of the top dogs was always practiced rather than any genuine continued searching for Christ. That all being said i dont hold anything against them.. Lord knows I make plenty of my own mistakes-everyone does-- but I also dont set myself up as some spiritual leader who has 'the truth' either, or hold it over people. Already did that in TWI--never again--thank you-- IMO that was their error and their "idol'. just my opinion--YMMV -
If you did that , then all The Way and splinter group doctrines would have to go there as well (which is where most of them belong)
