I love the story when he met the Mayor of New York and his wife It was a hot summer day and Yogi was dressed in a white summer suit Mrs mayor says "You look pretty cool Yogi" Yogi: "You dont look so hot yourself!"

Sophisticated choices? me? I better nip that ugly rumor right in the bud. that Journey song reminds me this week started with another Journey tune at the end of the Soprano's on Sunday That seems like years ago now Heres a slight reprise by a different 'artist' (notice the name of the bar) scuse me Im just a little weird tonight
-
Sorry if im gettin too weird! Rough week and I need to unwind.. .I'll cool it a bit--- I have this on now
-
This aint your grandpa's banjo band
-
I have Bela Fleck on Not this exact tune--but it as close as I can find
-
Yogi was/is brilliant!, enough of these 700 page philosophical works--I'll take Yogi one liners any day I was in Boston yesterday--- some enterprising individual had little stands all over the city selling foam rubber Astericks, for the Giants/Bonds visit to Fenway starting tonight

No--but they were 14 1/2 games out a week or so a go making up 6 1/2 games in a week has all those Yank fans grinnin again knew when people were conceeding the Sox as division winners that it was way too early--Maybe they will bt it is still a long season left
-
Well....when do we get the pictures and highlights i asked for months ago??? Hmmm?? :) your not gonna make me miss the best baseball of the season are you? .696 I love little league! and PS My yank fan friends are smiling and happy too, its bizarre, they were suicidal two weeks ago

i got categorized as a "human" as well. Pretty safe bet the description: Based on the descriptions you chose, you are practical, reliable, friendly, and fit in with people quite nicely. You probably have a regular family and do well in acedemia. I dont know about those

Right on the money Northeast New England or as they say when Im down South--Y'all shore talk funny"

I had a paper route at 10, and was weeding gardens and raking leaves by then.. Snow days were heaven --i was knocking on doors, shoveling driveways and walks and rolling in the big bucks (probably amounted to about $4-5 after shoveling all day. My first 'real' job was stripping and refinishing furniture when I was either 14 or 15. I made $1.35/hr to stand in a vat of industrial strypeeze type stuff that was extremely nasty (and probably illegal now) and scrub furniture clean all day...

good perspective satori, thats one angle that I hadnt really considered but fits and makes sense. It was like dying in a way
-
Satori on the other thread said which is plausible an explanation as Ive heard anywhere

It's an off day--- I stumbled on THIS a few minutes ago which may be the funniest Wikipedia article I have ever read Ive never heard Harrelson announce , but I have to give the writer some credit for humorous delivery

have you ever heard of paragraphs? it would sure as hell make anything you might have to say a heckuva lot easier for the rest of us to decipher if you could use them thank you. WE? Maybe you know the reason that you come here, but thats about it. If those are your reasons then fine, if you have other reasons then fine too, but I do have some news for you--there is no manifestation of mind reading,(unless you have some vastly different bible than me) and your projections and guesses as to others intents are grossly over generalized. Hello! It seems to certainly be your intention, since you just took it upon yourself to categorize and judge everyone here on near first glance. How long have you actually been here observing ? Years? Weeks? How many of these people do you actually know? One? Two? 500? Zero? How broad can your understanding of all these posters be that you can lop everyone here into a few sentences in your very short time here? I guess in your world none of that applies to your thinking about the posters here.... Tell us another one about doing 'what he says" either that or just do what he says instead of being everyones god and judge

I think half the country thought their cable went out---Im sure a few TV's somewhere had something thrown through them... Phils head squashing was a nice touch
-
I was disappointed expecting more-- although I suppose it was appropriate life goes on... everyones left to wonder I thought the quick switch to black was a bit of a cheap shot, although it was indicative of Soprano's life--a big buildup of intensity but you just dont know what, if anything, happened. Did someone get killed, or were they just eating Onion Rings? Chase had to leave the Movie options open

Go get em==yanks are on a roll (6 in row)and the sox are floundering....having lost 7 of 10 that was the worst managed game I remember seeing out of Francona in some time.. (Bunting in the 8th to get to his two worst hitters, when both Ortiz and Drew were available???) Anyway--Your guys capitalized, go get em in yankeeland-- ..... LOL on the 7th inning bathroom visuals, I thought all you can eat was sort of a strange promotion
-
Mr Rococo are you watchin? 2-1 AZ bottom of the 7th, both DiceK and RJ are gone We got us a game
-
If Johnny Sack's wife sings, I'll know its over for sure
-
No foolin' groucho I spewed my drink when I read thiis:   HUH? I'd like to hear some expounding on that

Thankfully we have an afternoon game today so I'll get to see it, These games in the west are brutal for us people on the other side of the country, after 3 in Oakland, which didnt start until 11PM or so, I missed most of the last 2 nights. NESN (The Sox network) replays them at 8AM, but its just sort of a little too odd to watch an entire with breakfast for me! I have it on now--looks like no JD against the Unit, maybe you'll get to see the fielding adventure that is Wily Mo Pena .....and Im glad to see you back Mr. Strange I was worried for awhile....when THE day comes, it will all be worth it--I guarantee-you're not the first person to have to live through this BS
-
that sounds like alittle bit of heaven to me...are you in the all you can eat seats I was reading about? .... regarding sox fans..some..well ok.. many have shown up in the last few years because it is all of a sudden 'cool' to be a sox fan, but a lot are transplants. Boston is a college town and a mountain of people catch the enthusism and fever while they are here then land wherever they land. It is sort of amazing to me to see a good Sox contingent no matter where they go, since I remember going to games with just a few thousand people (but that was a few years ago..) Even pop culture is pickin up on it Heres Todays Doonesbury
