I accepted stupid reproof that wasn't even based on reality. One evening I took a shower, put on some make-up, and brand new sweater and a pair of slacks that weren't blue jeans. Off I go to twig and there's our beloved branch leader's wife blessing us with her presence. After twig was over, I told her I wanted to go home for Christmas (my Dad had sent $ for a plane ticket) Blows my mind to even think at this point that here I was in my early 30's, granduated from the Corps already, and asking freakin permission to go somewhere for Christmas?? Well, anyway, after hearing this long litany of how I'm not doing this, or that, and how bad I am, she ends it with "And I can see by looking at you that you're not taking care of yourself." Huh? What did she want, a ball gown?

My Mom had a cat that liked to drink alcohol. My parents' guests at parties would give her drinks. Same cat was fascinated by fire and would start trying to go right into it if there was a fire in the fireplace. Weird Abyssinian cat.

But TWI has a website and then there was that short lived attempt at that forum thing.

Ask A LOT of questions: "Why is Donna still at HQ?" "Where does all the money go?" "What happened with all the lawsuits?" "Can you buy houses now?" "Can you have pets now?" "Do you still hit kids with wooden spoons?" "Can you teach fellowships from the Bible and not from the Way Rag?" "Can I go to the grocery store alone now?"

Fall asleep during the teaching. I saw a little kid get dragged out and screamed at for that.

Why do they care? I don't get it. If they're prevailing so much, why do they care what ex-Wayfers are doing? If they are truly of God what do they care what we think? It's rather amusing in sick way.
