  1. Tom, Nico doesn’t like it if I try to use her rump for a pillow, much less ride her! Dmiller, normally I wouldn’t laugh at such a mishap, but since it happened so long ago I guess it’s safe too. I have these mind pics, I would have been terrified and that would have definitely been the end of my horseback riding adventures as well! rascal: YES I’m wearing a helmet! Although that’s not 100 percent full protection it’s better than not wearing one I’m sure! And I know I want to relax and have fun! This is something I’ve always wanted to learn. (((exie))) waysider, if you think he wouldn’t mind that would be great! I’d take a look at his website anyway coolchef, yeah, I know, and it’s not like I can’t spend the money on other things, but as long as I can do it for right now, I may as well take advantage of it I figure about 10 to 15 lessons, and I could quit smoking that would easily pay for itself right there! Garth; NO KIDDING!!!!!!!!!1 HAPe: I don’t think I would mind a mule at all. They may be stubborn, but at least they are slow and low to the ground. Thanks all for your input!
  2. I really thought you were going to say "Sargent Pepper taught the band to play!" Happy 7th!
  3. Okay. So I go for my first horsey back riding lesson. I decided to take private lessons because I don’t want to be the only old lady in a group of kids. 75 bucks an hour every other week is what I am doing. And let me tell you, getting on a big tall ole horse after 30 something years was SCARY! This young woman who is my instructor, (Brook, really nice even if she has a pierced nose, what is it with these young uns? ) took the horsey by the reigns and led me around the stable like we were on a pony ride. I chatted with her and I got comfortable so I wasn’t that scared any more. I had to get on a stepping stool kind of thing to get on the horse, but to get off of it she led me to the middle of the stable and I had to get off myself! Well I did and I was so proud of myself. Anyway when I went to work the following Monday, our maintenance guy Finney (who I really a great man, retired, just helps with odds and ends on the building to keep busy) said to me “dammit rottie! Your going to break your damn back if you fall of that bleeping horse! Well thanks loads Finney, just what I needed to hear So anyone who rides horseys I would appreciate a little word of encouragement! BTW I’m learning English. I would have preferred Western, at least you have a saddle horn to hang onto, but I had to take what I can get!
  4. I wouldn't say that, Mr. P. People have hangups. We all do.
  5. Well I liked some of Michael Jacksons stuff. I think he was the same way as Elvis as far as he was just moving to the groove. That's what dancing is. You move how you feel.
  6. Rascal thanks. I think I'll start a new thread and cancel this one, since stupid me already derailed it! Give me an hour or so.
  7. You guys are hysterical. :) And Bluz I got your PM and I'm not mad. You guys are nuttier than I am! How can I leave such a nutty crowd? Please continue. I'm enjoying it.
  8. I am a non-trinitarian Jesus believing God fearing sinner. I won't go into all of my sins. That would amuse some and probably bore most of you I'm sure. I have my stupid biases, prejudices, hang-ups. And gee. My names Rottie, I'm a.........fill in the blank. Does that make everyone here happy? Thought not. I couldn't care less, and I doubt you do either. Thanks for your lack of interest. Sheesh! <_<
  9. btw all the guys who answered thus far are very sweet.
  10. Okay, I got fed up with this whole crap of. "Hi, I'm coming out as an athiest" Applaud me! What kind of stupid crap is that? Is that what this forum is becoming? It's like saying "Hi , I'm a virgin, applaud me." Give me a freaking break. Some things need to be private, and I don't really give a crap what you are, but do you have to announce it to the world? BTW in MHO anyone who comes out "as a virgin" who is over 40 and male is defiantly looking to get laid by some "sympathetic woman"
  11. delete. How do I unsub to gs?
  12. This is absolutely hysterical. Check it out. :)
  13. Tom S. I'm going to have to look into that. I'll call my vet this week.
  14. Cool. But the problem is that is only good if the dog gets lost. If someone steals your dog, you would want more of a microchip divice. Planted along the shoulder blades. That is what I'm thinking of.
  15. If anyone wants to see a woman go totally nuts, crazyland, breakdown, just try to steal my dog. I would act first and think of the consequenses later. I seriously would start going out on the streets shooting punks. That is what scares me. I wonder if they have any kind of GPS device for dogs. Like a LoJack for critters.
  16. Well, Okay... I'm a smoker. I hate Disney films. I love classic or well told children's stories/films. Disney is formulated and classic BS. Disney also shows sex/nudity/ (Splash) etc. under a different name. Disney kills off animals and never has a strong male lead. Disney stinks. I have to get drunk to watch Disney films. Good for them and their moral stance. I guess they are my new moral leaders cause they are Disney and I have no brain.
  17. Umm, not to be a snot. But my dog is not a "mutt" Ahem! Not that there is anything wrong with that............
  18. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM :)
  19. I might be a little weird, but does anyone out there besides me think there has to be some sort of chemistry, aka sexual attraction between two mates? Maybe it's different for guys, who can do it with anything but women seem to be a bit discriminating about who they have sex with. It's not like a lottery like the old wayfers used to do and line up two unmarried believers cause according to the word you can marry anyone. Yeah..............right. Especially if I'd rather french kiss my rott. Of course, people would pay money to see that too.
  20. No. He deserves to have his license suspended. This is theft, and this is ungodly. These laws were put into effect originally to take away property that people bought with illegal gains. This is a total abuse of the law. We are ALL in danger. If you don't think this can happen to you, think again. It can.
  21. This story disturbed me terribly. I am no fan of some jerk who blows through town at 127 miles an hour, but taking his car is theft. Policing for profit. There is no excuse and I think we should all be concerned because who's next? The person who has a small amount of drugs/paraphanlia on them while drving, the elderly person who grows a pot plant in their yard for their own purposes? This is a terrible abuse of what was supposed to be a law that confiscated profits made through criminal activities. Driver's felony is D.A.R.E. program gain A MAN CAUGHT DRIVING 127 MPH WANTED HIS CAR GARAGED. BUT PLAINFIELD POLICE HAD A PLAN FOR THE DODGEE VIPER. June 18, 2007 By JANET LUNDQUIST Staff Writer PLAINFIELD -- Patrol Officer Mario Marzetta was about finished running radar on Essington Road on a March afternoon when the catch of the day flew by. He heard it before he saw it -- the engine of a 2000 Dodge Viper revving high before the car blew by him at 127 mph in a 35 mph zone. Officer Mario Marzetta stands with the Plainfield Police Department's new D.A.R.E. car. Marzetta was the arresting officer when the 2000 Dodge Viper was seized in March 2006 on numerous traffic offenses. (Corey R. Minkanic/Staff Photographer) Turning heads, Officer Mario Marzetta takes his first test drive in Plainfield's new D.A.R.E. car. The driver was eventually charged with felony fleeing and eluding police, while his car became the property of the Plainfield Police Department. Now the shiny black Viper with a cognac leather interior has a fresh-paint detail and is outfitted with lights, ready to serve as the department's new D.A.R.E. car. The car's custom paint job was done by Jeff Brown of Todd's Body Shop and features an airbrushed American flag design on the hood. Others who donated services to customize the vehicle include Chicago Communication, Ray O'Herron, Plainfield Signs and Code 3. The D.A.R.E. car, which will be taken to community events, block parties, parades and schools, will make its public debut Tuesday at Cruise Night in downtown Plainfield. Cruise Night is held every Tuesday night on Lockport Street through Aug. 28. Attempted getaway The arrest was made on an afternoon in March 2006. Marzetta chased the joy rider north from 135th to 127th Street, where the Viper swerved left around two cars at the intersection and turned right. The Viper weaved in and out of an industrial park before the driver hit Weber Road traffic and tried to hide in a nearby parking lot. As the driver, a Naperville resident, was being fingerprinted -- unaware he was losing his luxury ride -- he asked Marzetta if the car could be stored indoors to shelter it from the elements. The vehicle has 17,000 miles on it and is in like-new condition. When Marzetta dropped the man off at the county jail, he "thanked" him for the car. Felony seizures Vehicles involved in the commission of a felony can be seized, said Community Service Officer Mark Siegel. The department has a lot full of seized vehicles, most of which aren't worth much and are sold at auction, he said. "It's very safe to say that this is the only seized Viper out there that's a D.A.R.E. car," Siegel said. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime car." The department's previous D.A.R.E. car was a 1986 Pontiac Firebird seized in 1989. About seven years ago, it was one of six in the nation chosen to be made into Matchbox cars, Siegel said. "We held onto that one longer than we should have" because of the Matchbox toy, he said, adding that by the end of its run with the department the car was barely driveable. "Nobody wanted to drive it," he said. "Now I've got to beat them off with a stick." Marzetta drove the car -- a sleek, 450-horsepower billboard for the police department -- for the first time Thursday. As he pulled out of the lot, he paused to rev the engine several times. "No!" Siegel yelled after him. "Remember what you're driving!"
  22. I may be a little nuts, but I love those cavemen from Geico. Here is a link to their diggs where you can play around in. Cavemanscrib
