How many different sets of retemories did we have to memorize? I remember Word in Business, BLEAD, Whites, Corps, and wasn't there a WOW set? I used to memorize them because it was a challenge for me and I seemed to be able to hold many in my grey matter, but alas, once the great Forehead called me and I missed a word. I was at a corps week I think in 87 and heard Don Wierwille say the passing of the patriarch was a lie. and that everything was going to be OK from here on out. It was like hearing the captain of the Titanic say "The pool is open"

I never knew such an easy question like what was the cost of Corps Tuition would bring such a miriad of responses, very few of which helped answer the original question TT i'm sorry you had such a negative feel for the time you spent in the Corps. I myself had a very enriching 3 years which I wouldn't trade for anything. I am very thankful for the time I was in the Way Corps. yes there were hassles and lots of them but I am a much better person for having gome through them. Gee Tom - I wish I make as much as you do. 262K in three years? Thats 87K a year. I'm a guide for a living and usually don't make quite that much. You are saying that back when you were in-residence you had a missed opportunity of 87K a year. thats how much in todays dollars. Figuring COLA and inflation thats around $175K a year in todays dollars. You know I really enjoyed the time I spent in the corps so I guess I view things different than you. My question was how much did you pay to the Way Int. for tuition. I was interested in seeing how much the cost of what was called corps tuition went up. By the way, do you make $10 an hour while you sleep between the hours of 12 and 6am?

Thanks for the info, it looks to me like in 3 years the price went up $700 which was reasonable. I wonder how far it got up to and even today what the corps is paying (dollar wise). In your few short sentances I can tell you are a great person!

I heared about that and always felt sorry for those that had to turn around after all those hours on the road and then having to cough up more money to go. I'm still wondering what corps tuition cost in later years. what did the 15th pay? how about the 18th or the 21st? Did they escalate the price drastically. I remember hearing some B#LL $#!T that we were actually paying for a future corps person and that some in the past had already paid for us. I always wondered if that was the case why were people sent home for not having thier money together since it was allegedly paid for?

What about someone like me that found his soul in the corps? we can go both ways on this but what I would like to know is dollars

I remember we had to come up with $3600 a year in "spiritual partnership" in order to be in the corps. In the end it wasn't so much about having the "Spiritual Partners" as it was about the money. I was in the 11th in 1980. Did the costs go up over the years and if so how much did you pay?
