  1. This was an ensemble show. In one episode, some characters were challenged on how well they knew another. Among the questions they missed were- -how is his name spelled on his TV Guide subscription (which they stole weekly) -what is his job Among questions they got correct were what he claimed was his biggest phobia and his actual one (the actual one was "Michael Flatley, lord of the dance.")
  2. *checks* I was either misinformed or I misunderstood. Bob Anderson was indeed an Olympic fencer, but he did not win the Gold. He participated in the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he represented Great Britain. He participated in Men's Sabre, and Men's Team Sabre. In Men's Team Sabre, he finished tied for fifth, according to Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Anderson_(fencer)#Biography https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Britain_at_the_1952_Summer_Olympics#Fencing He also fenced in 2 World Championships. Somewhere along the line, I or someone else got confused and thought he'd WON at the Olympics.
  3. That last exchange sounds very familiar and specific for such a short quote....
  4. So, George's turn. (BTW, I would have accepted Bruce Wayne and Batman equally as the right answer-s.)
  5. The first 2 guys to play him are the first 2 I named. David Mazouz was on Gotham, and played Bruce Wayne (and Batman in the last episode.) As for Alan Napier, he normally played Alfred in the 1966 Batman... who once dressed up in the Bat costume and used a voice scrambler while driving the Batmobile so Bruce Wayne and Batman could be in the same place at the same time.
  6. Ok, I have the title, but I don't have the artist. Should I post the title anyway?
  7. Lewis Wilson Robert Lowery Will Arnett Val Kilmer David Mazouz Dante Pereira-Olson Mikhail Mudrik Alan Napier Jason O'Mara Roger Craig Smith Bruce Greenwood Troy Baker
  8. We need some more lyrics, I think.
  9. Animal House John Belushi the Blues Brothers
  10. If it's your turn and you're posting the quotes, then it is expected you will go to imdb.com or wikiquote and find more quotes from the movie. Unless you're playing it and pausing it, it's the best way to get quotes. Mind you, if you are GUESSING, it is NOT allowed to look up anything unless you're willing to disqualify yourself for the round. (You are impatient and just HAVE to look it up.) So, if you're stuck for quotes to post, you know where to look.
  11. Ok, so Weezer's not your speed. The video of the song might interest you- it's how I recognized the line quickly. ("Buddy Holly" by Weezer.) In this case, you should recognize the song. Certainly you'll recognize the band. And probably the album. (I forget what albums included many songs.)
  12. It certainly never seems affected by something.
  13. Freaking YES! In TESB and RotJ, during Vader's duels, Bob A was often the man in the Vader suit. They changed camera angles to hide that he was shorter than Prowse. Mark Hamill took lessons from Bob A and mentioned that Bob was Vader during the duels. He also said he wished they could have come up with an over-the-head Hamill mask for someone to wear, but that wouldn't work. For the curious, we got something like that for Christopher Lee in RotS. In the acrobatic moments, that wasn't CL jumping around at his age. That was his stunt double, and post-production swapped their heads so it looked like CL did the flips. Personally, I'd wished they'd have slimmed CL down as well, as Jedi and Sith can control their bodies and wouldn't have a need to be overweight. (CL was a lardbucket but could stand to lose a few pounds, and the Dooku outfit showed it in a way Saruman's robes did not.)

  15. "Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day"
  16. Correct, just to make it official.
  17. In have trouble remembering any scene in any Star Wars movie (comic book, novel, cartoon...) where Chewbacca used any kind of sword. Seriously, what would be the sense in putting "HOLLYWOOD'S FENCING INSTRUCTOR" in a Chewbacca suit? In other words, seriously NO, not Chewbacca. If there was an expert that taught Hollywood to use a crossbow or something, maybe he would wear the furry outfit.
