Right. Thought you'd forgotten those clues by now..... apparently not....

So, not "The Rifleman" if he had a revolver, not a rifle. "Wild Wild West"????

Um, "Cruela??????"

Some prints of this movie omit the final line from a scene- one of my favorite lines from the movie- "Every one of them has a mother." There's some prints that leave out part of the scene where 2 of the characters reach a boat. What was Jack La Lanne doing in this movie? Some of the characters have odd histories. One had a last name of "Beagle" before it was rewritten into the now-familiar last name (and middle names "Thaddeus Crane"). Another was visually based on the comic strip character "Broadway Bates." (With a middle name of "Chesterfield.") Another has the middle name "Worthington." (None of the middle names appeared in the movie.) It's not stated in the movie, but it's thought the bulk of the story took place in New Jersey. The Spanish-language version of this movie included characters named Bruno Diaz and Ricardo Tapia Someone parodied Nikita Krushchev's famous "bang the shoe at the UN" moment in this movie. A Chrysler Imperial and a Lincoln Futura prototype both appear in this movie A former Miss America appeared in the cast. References to Robert Louis Stevenson's novels were snuck into the movie, but not into the dialogue. This movie was NOT distributed by Warner Brothers (making it peculiar). Once you've seen the scene where "Bringing in the Sheaves" is played, it's hard not to have the song stuck in your head whenever thinking about that scene.

"That's what we're trying to find out! We're trying to find out WHO killed him, and WHERE, and with WHAT!"

Wild guess, based on the time-frame and network- "the Untouchables????"

"The Sound of Music." True story... Someone was explaining about an accident with his car. He was driving around the wilderness- on the back-roads- when he veered to avoid hitting a *mumble*. Me: "A what?" Him: "A doe. A deer. A female deer." Me: "Ray, a drop of golden sun." Then we both cracked up.

"Cursed"???????????

"What...are you...prepared...to do?!"

Already answered as the bonus question- "the Ten Commandments." (Which I knew anyway, this being a proper easy movie quote.)

The names of 2 of the regulars were dropped- Jayne and Kaylee. The first quote was from our favorite scene from the series, at the end of the episode "the Train Job." If you're blanking on it, YT has the scene up, and you can see why the first sentence is enough to tell us which episode/series/scene this is. "No power in the 'verse can stop me" became a running gag. Shepherd Book's moment warning Mal about taking advantage of the "innocent" Saffron is one of his best moments. River Tam warned about the investigators chasing her, working in pairs and wearing blue gloves. In fact, in "Castle", Fillon once had to put on blue gloves. He ad-libbed, and stretched them when he put them on- stretching the first two fingers on one glove, then the other. (Two by two...) Big Bang Theory fans might remember Nathan Fillon having lunch, and Raj challenging him to recite that line, proving he was Nathan Fillon. “I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.” That was from a great scene where the gang had set a trap for robbers, and Jayne and his "wife" drove a wagon. When the robbers stopped them, Jayne mentioned his wife was ugly. "She" raised her head and replied, offended- showing it was Mal hiding in the dress and bonnet with his gun. Later in the scene, he warned a robber not to force him to shoot. If Mrs Wolf hadn't commented, I was going to resort to posting the exchange about a Crazy Ivan- complete with several names of cast members. Your turn. Go.

Correct- both in the answer and in the forehead slap.

And Image Comics. Romulans are not depicted, generally, as "tough guys". The Star Trek cartoon WAS rather low-budget. They didn't hire someone to double-check color separations- one of the animators was color-blind for that portion of the spectrum, and couldn't tell the cartoon Klingon uniforms were PINK. So, your turn. Go.

So, it was something with live-action TV, live-action movies, cartoons, AND comic books. How many franchises can that cover? I'll add it wasn't primarily known as comic books, so that eliminates all the things from comics, like all traditional DC and all traditional Marvel, etc. I will even add that it's probably the only franchise that has had comic books that were DC AND Marvel AND otherS. There were also novels.

I'm trying to imagine a Smurfs cartoon where someone says "If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater." Mrs Wolf walked in, saw the first quote, and got it. She said to tell you that the show is NOT "Castle."

"Now this is all the money Niska gave us in advance. You bring it back to him, tell him the job didn't work out.... We're not thieves — well, we are thieves. Point is we're not takin' what's his. Now we'll stay out of his way the best we can from here on in. You explain that that's best for everyone, okay?" "Can you stop her from bein' so cheerful?" "I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful." "If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater." "Two by two. Hands of blue. Two by two." "Jayne, your mouth is talking. You might wanna look to that." “I swear by my pretty floral bonnet, I will end you.”

"Beyond the palace, hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard. The girls comb their hair in rear-view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard. The amusement park rises bold and stark, kids are huddled on the beach in a mist. I wanna die with you, Wendy, on the streets tonight in an everlasting kiss. The highways jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive. Everybody's out on the run tonight but there's no place left to hide. Together, Wendy, we can live with the sadness, I'll love you with all the madness in my soul. Oh, someday girl, I don't know when, We're gonna get to that place where we really want to go, and we'll walk in the sun."

Should be Tom Hanks and "Bachelor Party."
-
"Sorry if that Stings a bit" was a clue. Frodo was given "Sting" (a blade) in LotR: FotR. Gandalf's big scene vs the Balrog is often remembered pretty well.

That's "West End Girls", which is not this song.
