Right now, they actually pay the minimum required by law. Is it because they realized it was the responsible thing to do? No, twi's lawyers mandated that twi improve the conditions for its workers. What's your alleged "Christian" organization like if even LAWYERS are coming up to you and saying "You need to be a LOT nicer to people"?

Not making it PUBLICKLY known means the public at large (you, me...) don't hear about it. They can still do things and keep from announcing them to the entire world wide web. I knew some people who- legally- agreed to follow required standards- PUBLICKLY- and PRIVATELY showed no interest whatsoever in following them. Their rule was not to tell the authorities and not to get caught. No, I never joined THEIR organization. It's the same way JAL no longer "officially"/PUBLICKLY shills for Momentus (or whatever the new, secret names changed to, I forget) , but when communicating PRIVATELY with people, he's been caught trying to get them to sign up. Repeatedly. I mean, vpw never PUBLICKLY announced he was going to drug and rape and molest women. Does that mean he didn't do it?

You named the best-remembered actor/actress in that movie. However, if we watched a bunch of movies from that time (or at that time), we might know who the dude was. Christopher Atkins the Pirate Movie (a dated take on the Pirates of Penzance, complete with a use of "The Force") Kristy McNichol

YES. Other than those 2 films, I don't know of any similar movies. If we accept the idea that there's only a handful of plots, then this one is what you get when you take Romeo and Juliet, then set it in ancient Rome, then make it a farce.

Good guess, but no.

Next movie. "I say! You are in need of a soothsayer." "How did you know?" "I'd be a fine soothsayer if I didn't." "It's against Roman law to take one's life. Penalty's death." "A common courtesan in the house of Lycus?" "Is that disgraceful?" "There's no way to make it sound like an achievement!"

I have GOT to sit down and watch that thing. The quote about working for the Dad sounded familiar, so I probably saw that moment at some point.

Any chance this was "the Green Hornet?" I kept picturing Seth Rogen, but kept thinking these quotes wouldn't possibly fit in to that movie.

That's him. Larry Abbott went on the "Haunted Honeymoon", Avram Belinski was the rabbi, the "Frisco Kid", and so on. His best-known roles were all in the last line, but you've seen him in "Stir Crazy" and other movies, I'm sure.

I had the right decade and the right hair, but I wasn't on to this song until now. If info is correct, it's their turn. If so, your turn to post song lyrics. Since you're giving the clues, you should look them up online to make sure you have them correct (or find them.) Usually, I put the word "lyrics" in quotes, followed by the name of the song in quotes, followed by the band name in quotes. Then I get a bunch of sites with the lyrics, like lyrics az, genius, metrolyrics, etc. I use whatever's easiest at that moment. You can start with the harder lyrics to guess, then get easier. We have to guess without looking it up. If we look it up, we're disqualified.

I had trouble remembering even one role Mira Sorvino was in, so, wait, I know one. Norma Jean and Marilyn Ashley Judd Double Jeopardy

He was a title character. Letterman was literally that- faster than a rolling O, stronger than silent E, able to leap capital T in a single bound.

That's it. Unless something changed, the only "rap" song VH1 ever plays. I was about to post some huge text blocks from when she speeds up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHCdS7O248g https://genius.com/Blondie-rapture-lyrics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapture_(Blondie_song)
