  1. That's quite possible. ELP's Palmer was CARL PALMER. At one point, they replaced him with "Powell" but he seemed to return later. A few years ago, "THE CARL PALMER TRIO" did a world tour through here (with a note that he's that "Palmer" on the posters.) (World tours seem to pass here a year after they pass the US.)
  2. Correct. I take it you vectored in on Langella.
  3. Ooo. what a LUCKY MAN Gregg Lake was. (That's the "Lake" of "Emerson, Lake and Palmer.")
  4. Christopher Lee John Carradine Frank Langella
  5. Ah-nuld Total Recall Robert Picardo (the voice of the Johnny-Cab robot)
  6. I'm not sure about "Legend." However, Wadsworth the Butler in "Clue" and the Plaza Hotel front desk manager in "Home Alone 2- Lost in New York" were both TIM CURRY.
  7. Gppd Morning Vietnam Don Stanton (or Dan Stanton) Looney Tunes- Back In Action
  8. CORRECT! I was going to say he wasn't Austin, but "Austin Powers in Goldmember" is the actual title! In other news, the guy in the picture was NIGEL Powers, Austin's Dad, played by Michael Caine. (Nigel's played by him.) Your turn!
  9. Your answer is correct. I prefer the exchange about doing something for himself for once.
  10. We once discussed why 3 actors from Flash/Arrow were tapped to sing a bunch of songs- all 3 had been on Broadway or the West End. That came back to me once George identified JM.
  11. Pierce Brosnan Mrs Doubtfire Robin Williams
  12. Linda Richman Pat Arnold Donnie Shulzhoffer Stuart Rankin Kenneth Rhys-Evans Maurice Pitka Kenneth Rhys-Evans/"Cucumber Jones" Steve Rubell General Ed Fenech Wayne Campbell Steve Rubell Goldmember John Witney Charlie Mackenzie Dieter Tim Broderick
  13. James Earl Jones Arsenio Hall Eddie Murphy
  14. That would be Jesse L. Martin (Detective Joe West) singing in "Rent."

    The Amazing Randi

Too bad. Oddly enough, I thought he'd passed away some time ago.
  17. I can give it another shot. However. FB has this thing about never actually saying what a problem is, so I wouldn't bet money on me getting through. A separate thread for a Zoom room makes sense. Keeping the chat from being compromised is easy. The thread announces the "when." Those interested would send a pm to get the room ID and password. Even if we posted the room ID, if it was passworded, then the room ID doesn't matter since you can't get in without the password. I'll probably want to ask Wordpup a question or 2, since his classes are all on Zoom so he's got a lot more practice on it than I have. Skype now has something similar where you also don't have to log into Skype, but I don't have experience with it and can't vouch for it. With Zoom, you can use the Zoom program, or just use your browser, and either will work to visit a room.
  18. Zack and Miri... Brandon Routh Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
  19. Oh. Diana Rigg. Right- she was "Lady Holiday" in "TGMC." I keep forgetting she did stuff outside "the Avengers."
  20. I just tried. Had to set up a new Facebook account. Had to switch to Chrome to get to the video chat. THEN it told me it STILL wouldn't let me in, after clicking the "join room as (name)" button. How about we try some Zoom meetings? I can set that up, and you won't even need to sign up for an account to join the room.
  21. Scream Drew Barrymore Charlies Angels- Full Throttle
  22. I sent you a pm here, and I sent you a request there. I don't think you'll wonder who the friend request was from, but the pm here would confirm it.
