  1. I'll take the correct name of the band who did the original recording, or the remake.
  2. The original band was mentioned very, very recently on this thread.
  3. Yes. I did my best to lead with EZ quotes this time around.
  4. You are correct! Moffatt played Poirot- who was one of the detectives spoofed in "Murder by Death"- on the radio, as well as acting in other works by Agatha Christie. There was a film remake of MotOE, as well as a TV-movie.
  5. Tony Perkins Michael York Vanessa Redgrave Richard Widmark John Gielgud Sean Connery Jacqueline Bisset Ingrid Bergman Lauren Bacall Albert Finney Jean-Pierre Cassel Martin Balsam Wendy Hiller Rachel Roberts Colin Blakely George Coulouris Denis Quilley Vernon Dobtcheff Jeremy Lloyd John Moffatt John Moffatt may be remembered for playing a famous role on BBC Radio(or not.) In this movie, he did not play that role, but he played alongside someone else who played that role. Bing in this film also fit into his thing about acting in works based on the same writer's books- on BBC Radio, in TV movies, and in this theatrical release. BTW, the answer to this round is not "Murder by Death." (Feel free to look up that movie if you don't remember it.)
  6. "Tell me more about this man 'Houdini'." "Why do you attack us?" "Why not?" "This place is a lunatic asylum."
  7. "You know, considering how shot to pieces you were, it's amazing you're still alive." "Ow! Considering who's treating me, I'd say it's a miracle. Watch out. Ow! Where did you say you studied medicine?" "Heidelberg. 1453." "Did you major in medicine or dueling?" "Both. A couple more days, you'll be able to travel." "You don't have to look quite so happy about it." "He says he heard a strange noise, we went to go check it out, and he saw three grown men with drawn swords, having it out." "Did he also see a guy in a bat costume and a long cape?" "I'll kill you in a second, boy. Leave while you still got your head."
  8. You've definitely heard of it. If you can't figure out when you've seen it, perhaps the critical question isn't "when", but "where."
  9. This song was covered by a band who was mentioned very recently, and the cover appeared in a movie. (As did the other song that was mentioned very recently.) The original was done by a band who was also mentioned very recently.
  10. OK, if not "Furthest Frontiers", how about "THE OUTER LIMITS"?
  11. The original WAS "Win Ben Stein's Money." In Round 2, BS steps in to answer questions. If others get answers correct, their totals go up and his goes down. If he gets them correct, no money changes. Jimmy Kimmel's been the host of "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE" for a few years now, starting around 2020 0r 2021, with a show that had no studio audience. (With no audience, "ask the audience" became "ask the host". Personally, I would have liked them doing an online poll at the time.) So, perhaps it was too easy, but it was on my mind right now. Your turn again!
  12. I saw a game show where the host complained. Part of the game show involves the host in play. He complained that the original host never had to do it. He asked what other show had this. I laughed and shouted at the TV, because this was actually the second show I was aware of where that happened..... and this host should remember it personally, since he was on THAT show also, even if he wasn't the host in question! Please name EITHER show. (Or both for bragging rights.)
  13. "Whenever we kiss, I get to feeling like this. I get to wishing that there was two of you. My heart cries out, "More, baby!" It feels so nice, I want your arms to wrap around me twice." "When you had to go, I hated the thought. I always wish the night was twice as long." I can't post the title, so I'm running out of lyrics.
  14. If you're confusing this movie for the remake, you might get stuck, and I'd understand that.
  15. Tony Perkins Michael York Vanessa Redgrave Richard Widmark John Gielgud Sean Connery Jacqueline Bisset Ingrid Bergman Lauren Bacall Albert Finney Jean-Pierre Cassel Martin Balsam Wendy Hiller Rachel Roberts Colin Blakely George Coulouris Denis Quilley Vernon Dobtcheff
  16. *punches Human in the lower lip* Hang on, I'll post more. I didn't think it would take this long.
  17. No. But you have probably seen it. It's possible you read the book.
  18. Tony Perkins Michael York Vanessa Redgrave Richard Widmark John Gielgud Sean Connery Jacqueline Bisset Ingrid Bergman Lauren Bacall Albert Finney Jean-Pierre Cassel
  19. DING DING DING! Human has it!
  20. Forgive me for interrupting the thread. A) I'm also curious which 7 languages Allan speaks. Obviously, English is one. B) Allan, when you said "and witnessed some supernatural happenings at the time", were you referring solely to SIT at the time, or something else like healing or another? I was very curious. C) "I've heard people s.i.t. a mixture and mish mash of some of those 'human languages' in the same utterance." If we were rehashing- or I was still trying to make up my mind on the subject, I'd think you were making Raf's argument for him. (Back when I was agreeing with you on this, it would have gotten my attention, and not in a good way.) D) Isaiah 65:8 may not be the verse you meant. I can't find anything remotely resembling a connection in any version. E) Zephaniah 3:9 is the verse you meant, but other than in the KJV, it doesn't remotely resemble a reference to SIT.
