well perhaps setting aside what you think you may know and let Christ work in you with what you already have in your heart. let him put a few things together for you, it's a redeeming experience study-study-study...pfff-there's a time and place for it there is also a time for God to work and you won't need a book remember Jesus said search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life and there was Jesus standing right in front of their face sometimes you gotta close the books to let the spirit work

sufferings and healings are quite the subject just cuz a person is suffering doesn't mean they did anything wrong healings come from within, all of them are spiritual either done with the help of a doctor or the spirit alone the one body....yeah...suffers with you and rejoices with you in a spiritual way for that spirit to surface from within is not something i can explain but i know it happens if and when it does don't be afraid you hold that woman in love with the same breath breathing deeply and letting all the bad burn up in the fire of your hearts, and breath out giving life together just hold on to love this present time will be so small in comparison to the glory that will be revealed in us love always (that don't mean bye, still will talk with you and there's always email too)

and it does affect the physical... remember Paul said he dies daily this is about the one body you have to look where you haven't looked yet to get to "it is done" there is suffering involved but that comfort and salvation will be there the suffering and the comfort and the salvation cannot be separated in this life the next which merges in and is the same will end the suffering for the living cuz that glory will be fully revealed rest in love-that emotion will power up patience hope longsuffering meekness gentleness and faith tempered with the knowing that noone will need to teach to you. Christ is the comforter-the teacher...

this imo is a bit different then physical suffering, but involves changes within afflicted for your comfort and salvation does not fit with physical suffering but spiritual changes within and the results afterwards

i know things are hard to deal with Paul and others had the same as it is written focusing on it (the suffering) doesn't help there must be other ways to escape for now although temporary, they do help meditation is a good topic for consideration there are many kinds to search out i know how tough it can be the pain is so great and medications are not wrong to use anything to get your mind at peace so you can think clearly and find that place in your mind where old things are forgotten and new things are seen... which will always be there for you they always have been here is where seek and you shall find really is something sought after tap into emotion which is spiritual the spirit's nature is one of great emotion as HCW pointed out on the miracles thread giving is a very great help i just can't say enough about giving and i'm not talking about money to organizations you give your life and everything you have to discover and loose youself into giving cuz God will return unto you...more then you can imagine looking to take will not bring much giving brings joy and this emotion is not to be underestamated. it sparks power in you deep within. don't be foolish with giving, but give like a giving fool emotions are real and there are genuine things that come from them. look for how to help from anothers pov is one suggestion there are others that many know about.. love always

god plays on hell of a game in the old testament secretly, wit, wisdom-his purpose fulfilled fooling the foolish even the foolishness of god is wiser then men to see that there is one god who wants life for all to understand that there was a purpose for the wars a jealous god-quite the understatement what belongs to him he intends to keep christ growing in us or we growing in christ growing in the ability to see as it is seen rather then hung up by our own selfish desires to worship the Lord thy God is a selfless act, what really is in us? taking the focus off ourselves yet buried within this mortal body to uncover that which is done a revealing, new but old and new, and has always been there waiting to be seen by eyes that have not seen by ears that have not heard reflection on the words a considering of the impossible

Oakspear i don't understand what or who you think you are questioning or the questions or the expectations. all those that were healed in the scriptures are dead. maybe understanding death would be better questions to ask. i do understand complaining to god though i do that myself "Lovely...but in the meantime, God is healing and performing miracles for some, but not others. Either God is a respector of persons, or there are conditions." perhaps there is something missing in your understanding. something missing in the QUESTION. to get to where these men were in the first century ain't no walk in the park face death now, what you got to beat it? they beat it first then lived it's all over the friggin' scriptures about what is to die and be made alive. how badly do you want to see it? how willing are you to consider what you have not thought about?

it's a glimpse into the new heavens and earth the new body, healing from within by spirit everyone will be healed...no exceptions

thanks TGN, reminds me of a teacher at work who married a girl from South America. when she gets angry or extremly annoyed at him she rattles off in her native language which he understands very little of. so it really doesn't affect him much. just that he knows she's upset. then when that passes, they calm down and fall madly in love again... the common language of all is love this can be seen and understood the love that is there within us not sex-u knew that-but love.... bigger and wider and deeper and higher deserving exploration and giving love always

yeah .. i suppose a person who may see some things could think it's because he is so special.. the one who is special is the one showing the things to you! as promised... so one has something revealed and another sits by in awe of the words, which is fine, but he must see that he can see and add his own special things to it let each phophesy one by one that all may be edified...so listen consider then your own words will be there soon enough same god same christ same spirit different colors, sounds, toungues different flavors-some even bitter perhaps hard to swallow but there ain't no one forcin' nothin' we naturally want to follow for reassurance, a sense of belonging, fellowship but when it's limited to following a person slavery ensues, abuse will occur what you are actually hearing is words right? comparing them with your own words words=thoughts revealed..by whom? scriptures say a lot about man and what he is without spirit..we all have it, but is it being cultivated and kept like in the garden if it's going to be "kept" then spiritual words are sought after here and now from the living and then words written will come to mind and more words if that one who got your attention doesn't wake you up to "the same body" then it's going to go downhill one god one father one spirit who is in all and thru all not the likeminded stuff we were subjected to but freedom to fly, and respect for each member and we all fall short of this glory shoot...we all hit lows and highs we all missfire or skip a beat at times there isn't a person on these boards that i haven't learned something from reminds me of the tower of babel sort of though where things went too far, got out of control love lost, evil abounded, so perhaps it's good that we don't understand each other sometimes......

yeah, i do yahoo chess too. and world chess network-but it costs money there's only a few world wide ones that have a decent size board that i like gettin' older and have a 19" screen even so i like the ones that have the big boards the 3 day move thing ain't bad really get to take your time and think and people usually move quicker then three days 1 or 2 minute games are fun too though can do that on world chess

good points TGN.... reflecting on myself-my "I", me and the me that was and is willing to take some initiative just because i know what i don't know...and look and someone saw "me" looking... and flowed into "me" it has to "come" on it's own it can't be pushed or forced it will flow i think i've seen it in "me" and the stream that flowed in with me Jesus said his burden was lite seems we should lighten the load on ourselves to see what comes to mind the connections will happen even then it must flow like a stream rapids and all.... the point i suppose is love... the greatest perspective of all and that is that 0 that can be rested in and let nature naturally become spiritual and we stream into it with the connection naturally, lovingly, in the image of God
