just a suggestion, but take a look at how many phrases and terms that are not used in the scriptures. and also how many terms and phrases have been changed in meaning to "fit" with those terms and phrases. also how much of it turns a person away from the Christ within and has you looking at reference books and people instead of what God has already done INside you. there are so many things that turn a persons search away from the reality of what God has brought to pass within. and regained the freedom to cultivate the garden of God which is the mind. sure we learn from outside sources, but that is NOT the primary source of faith, joy, peace and love. it comes from within. and spiritual understanding will come from that Christ within, not by "outside sources. so, anyways just a suggestion.... obedience to some man? or obedience to God who knows how to let you know.. peace

yep, Belle sounds like your onto something there. especially when you see man and woman as a whole person-spirit and soul. so soon enough we will shed this mortal body and immoratality will be what there is. to even say that the law of love is a higher standard is making that a law itself. it's about the new birth and how that some had taken what was written then and made it a law. the writtings of Paul and others were being turned into a law. rather then living by the spirit of God that was in their hearts. the schoolmaster is what we have disciplined ourselves to do or not do, then with the new birth there is freedom in the spirit. so rather then living love they back peddled into making laws to live by. killing the freedom of the spirit, stopping the work that Jesus came to give us to do. putting themselves back under the law, the schoolmaster and not living the freedom that is in Christ. and like it says-all things are lawful to me but not expedient or edifying

if it's thought of as an individual experience it can be seen in a different light not death but the coming (not return) of the Lord the Lord does not need to return, he is already here now anyways death of this mortal body hurts those who are still living for sure and it sucks, but to really see what it is and what God has prepared for them is comforting from your writing you have two Christs-one here and one "up there" it's closer then you may think love always

well... i'll take a shot at it... when we are born we are just babies and with spirit or you wouldn't be alive and we learn from things seen and heard in the visible and invisible what we see hear and feel things surrounding us and people it's the unseen that is the tricky part God, Spirit, that which is in us but not quite figured out dead in tresapasses and sins there are no trespasses and sins without knowing God our parents are the gods of our lives, helping between right and wrong then to learn of God and his desire for us brings a new set of instructions from within where he resides so we learn what sin is and that sin as paul put it sin revived and i died but thank God that through Jesus Christ we have been delivered from this so we learn what he did and experience this cleansing one day there is no set of rules to live by when living in and by the spirit but all things are lawful for me but not expedient expedient=doing the will of God/Christ/Spirit from within a learning, a growing, just like from what we see and it ain't hard-He knows that we are dust... some people think they are sinning and actually are not God is Love Love is God and this begins at birth a small shot at it i know but i can't go into some sort of elaborate word study or complicated explanation cuz i think it's simple what complicates it is our own selves and making it harder then what it is then you got everyone and there brother telling you what God is shoot - He's big enough to show it to you himself if we are humble enough to hear cuz God has made people his habitation, His dwelling place as it is written seek and you will find ask and it will be given putting preconceived ideas aside and a fresh look helps #1 and lets not forget that God is Love loving starts at birth wether recognized as such or not
